My hairdresser recently asked me why I wasnt wearing my wedding ring. When I told her one of the prongs broke and Id taken it to a couple of jewelers who charged me but didnt fix it, she grabbed my hand and took me to Jewels on lake and said, "Lets go." She walked me a block down from her shop on South Lake Avenue in Pasadena and said, "Sam will take care of you." I was feeling good and relaxed in Jewels on Lake. The first thing Sam did was have me look at my ring under a super magnifing telescope so I could see what it looked like - shocking! He then explained (in great detail) what needed to be done. He gave me the option of repairing it or designing a new one. I chose to Sam to design it. Sam knew Id only come in for a repair and not a new custom designed ring, so he made sure we stayed in my budget, often not charging me for things he could have. Who does that? Hes a talented designer, spent a considerable amount of time helping me create a new ring and its just beautiful! Sam is a great and unbelievable designer who genuinely cares about delivering the finest quality product with the highest regard for his customer. Jewels on Lake is the Best Jewelry Shop.He is honest and he makes his customers feel relaxed at his shop.He also gives reasonable prices. He also polished my ring and didnt charge me anything!

We live in West Los Angeles we were reccommended by a friend to Jewels On Lake in Pasadena on Lake Ave to speak with Sam to find our wedding bands. We had a list of about 5 or so jewelers that we visited based on Google reviews. This was our last stop, and also our BEST stop! We mostly talked to Sam, who hooked me up with a great bargain on the ring I loved! I was about to settle for a more affordable ring, but when he saw me looking at the one I wanted he promised it to me for the price of the cheaper one. They had to make it special for me due to my teeny fingers (size 4.5) and I also wanted it made in palatinum. No problem! Since they specially make the ring just for you, you can tweak it so its just how you want it. I am in love with my ring and couldnt be happier. My husband got his wedding band here also. Sam is into artistic flair when it comes to his special rings; he showed us some funky rings that werent inside the display case, some of his personal art projects. They were very unique and my husband ended up choosing one of Sams special rings, also in palatinum. EVERYONE here was super nice.We loved Sam he took care of us and got us everything we wanted for a reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I live in Santa Monica and i was recommended from one of my friend to go to Pasadena Jewels on lake to meet and speak to Sam and he will take care of you. Sam did great. I asked him to adjust my watch and he did it in a few minutes for free. Also, my diamond ring was missing a stone and I had a broken necklace that he fixed in a week. I was too busy to go to pick them up, but he called me a few times to remind me and he was always very nice. Finally my husband went to pick them up about few weeks later since Sam called me and my hubby said Sam was a really nice guy! Hes done everything that I wanted with such a reasonable price. I highly recommend him and Im sure you wont be sorry! Hes very professional and also a gentleman!

I recently paid a visit to Sam and Angela at Jewels on Lake based on all the fantastic Yelp reviews – and let me say, it’s not overrated! Pardon the pun, but this store is one of the San Gabriel Valley’s true gems! Sam is extremely knowledgeable and generous. In twenty minutes with him, I learned more about diamonds and settings than from every other jeweler I’ve ever visited, combined. It’s very apparent in talking to Sam that loves what he does, and it’s evident in the beautiful jewelry he creates. If you’re in the market for a ring, necklace, bracelet, or earrings, do yourself a favor: Don’t buy anything until you go see Sam! Seriously. You’ll be glad you did.

My name is Kaylen I am a Chicago resident I usually dont write reviews.I have been dating a very beautiful girl from Pasadena,Ca and when we discussed about an engagement ring she said "Honey dont purchase anything yet because I know this jeweler the stores name is "Jewels On Lake" I have seen lots of beautiful jewelry at his shop".The owner Sam designs all his jewelry.When I visited Pasadena,Ca we went to Jewels On Lake we saw a lot of beautiful jewelry.We picked the ring and Sam custom made it for her finger size. I highly recommend Jewels On Lake because he delivered exactly what he promised. I am Very Happy.

I took a gold chain in for a repair yesterday evening a few minutes before they closed. The latch of the chain was bent out of shape and was no longer functional. One of the gentlemen quickly examined the chain and was able to bend it perfectly back into place. The chain was repaired in under a minute and looked as good as new. Im writing a review because they didnt charge me for the repair. Nice people!

I cant say enough about how much I love my ring! Stephanie Katz did an amazing job helping my soon to be hubby get through the entire process. It was a total surprise so they did a good job hiding it. My fiancé and I are both very perticular in the details of how we like things and he told me it was easy getting exactly what he wanted. Cant wait to go back to pick out our wedding bands!

Amazing Jewelry Repair Shop!!! Wow in about 2 hours my Moms antique engagement ring went from being too big and a little tarnished to a perfectly sized and beautifully shiny engagement ring. Thanks Jewels On Lake especially Sam for doing such a good job. Ill be recommending you to all my friends. Although theres a problem, I cant stop looking at my ring! ;)

I bought a diamond online and had a custom enagagement ring made online as well, then I took it here to get it set. Sam was amazing!! Excellent price, super patient guy who explained me everything, very honest and trustworthy. I will always go to him, I have found my new jewellery guy! :-)

I had a silver pendant that needed its hole to be a little larger. Sam fixed it for me in less than 5 minutes, right there on the spot. He was very friendly. This shop sells a lot of fine jewelry, but they do repairs on all jewelry. I will definitely come back!
