I keep coming back to this Ace Hardware for the customer service. Today I put my garage door opener through the wash, and made a couple of trips to Ace trying to figure out what kind of new remote would work with my garage door. Turns out that this shop doesnt stock one that will work (my opener is rather old), but Mike F. really went above and beyond helping me to figure this out, even going so far as to test the 9V battery I put into my old opener to make sure it was the opener that was causing the problem. You just cant beat that kind of service. Thanks!

This place is really great. Ive spent many hours of my life standing in the aisles of a Home Depot or OSH, pondering to myself whether some random tool or part would work for my project, and having discovered this local hardware store, I realized that it doesnt have to be like that. Their staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful, and they help you find solutions to problems. You dont have to hunt them down like Pokemon, they come and find you, and ask how they can help. How novel. The more I go here, the less pleasant I find Home Depot.

I first came here as an undergrad to look for some glue...had no idea what I needed but the staff helped me through the process and they did have a lot of glue to choose from. Eight years later and Im still here shopping for glue. No, I dont sniff the stuff. Highly recommend to all humbio majors and all med students. Their distinction is customer service and they do have everything you need despite the small size for a hardware store. This place is like my personal garage and the first place I visit for school projects.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Even when I didnt know exactly what it is that I needed, they were able to locate the right item for me. One one occasion they didnt sell the exact thing I was looking for, but had something suitable in their spare items bin, so they gave it to me for no charge. And on most days, they even offer free popcorn, which keeps the kids happy. :)

A much better experience than going to Home Depot. The employees here care about you and help you find what you need. I needed some glass cut for a small window at home. I was able to find an employee fast and he immediately helped me. Im also amazed how many items this store has in it. Ive actually found a few items here that the Home Depot didnt carry.

A lot of other retail stores can learn from Hassett Ace: its the friendliest place with happy, helpful employees. Its almost like going back in time of mom-and-pop stores where the owners knew their customers and took the time to serve them well. Although its not as big as a Home Depot or Lowes, Im always able to find whatever I come in for.

Came in for a Chain (for a chainsaw) , 2 gentlemen helped me and searched for the right one, took out a couple and ensure I had the right chain. Both gentlemen, as well as the cashiers were all really helpful, polite and very friendly. No waiting more than the necessary, no problems with my transaction. Definitely recommend this store.

May I help you ? This hardware store has a friendly, helpful staff with an incredible range of products. I only discovered it recently but it has become the first place I shop for all such needs. Even after eight or so visits I always leave in good spirits. Gratitude to the owners and staff for the way they enrich our community.

These guys are the best. You walk in there with a ton of question and they try to answer every single one of them. They are so helpful and nice. No problem when you have to bring something back because it was the wrong item. Much better than the people from the big box store. Stay local and get better service!

An absolutely outstanding hardware store. The best I have ever been in. Customer service is extraordinary. Quantity and quality of products is the best Ive found in a single hardware store. Use this place to find everything you need and they will even do fix small items that need minor repair for you.

Im not good in English and also not familiar with American things. Bill show me how to use trolley and give me very good advices how to make decisions. Also he carried my shopped items to my car which not park near from the shop. This is the best place to shop, I believe.

The best run business in town. Amazing. I love coming in here. I brought in a toy guitar and asked for epoxy. They ***fixed the guitar*** and then sold me the epoxy he used to fix it! Never go to Home Depot anymore! Kudos to Hassett Hardware!
