Do yourself a favor and do not buy major appliances there. They take zero ownership and refuse to help the customer rather directing customer to take it up with the manufacturer. We bought a washer that the computer went out in the machine. It took a week or so before someone could visit. Then, the repairman needed to order a part and come back again. He came over and "fixed" it. However the machine didnt work. I called him. He told us to call Home Depot. They told us to call Samsung. They told us to call repairman. I am currently still in the loop. Samsung told me it would take another visit from a repairman to say if the machine needed to be replaced. Then it would take a couple weeks to approve the replacement??? All in all, 4-5 weeks without a washer. I went in and spoke with the appliances department directly and they too agreed there was nothing the store I bought it from could do for me. What does this tell me??? Never do business with HD again. I do business with people, not call centers overseas. It is unfortunate because I really did like our local store, but substantial purchases need to be done on a smaller scale.

My wife and I went to have a key made there for the front door of our new apartment. When we got home we learned that the key didnt fit. I am sure you all realize how frustrating this is... We went back to the store and the person who made the key was talking to somebody about some future purchase that may or may not happen. I waited patiently for about ten minutes and didnt see this conversation ending any time soon so I politely said excuse me during a pause in the conversation and quickly told the attendant why I was there. She told me that I would have to wait my turn. I was upset because I had already waited my turn and I was a cash paying customer. They didnt fulfill their end of the bargain. I went to the front of the store and asked for a manager. I explained what had happened and told him that I had waited long enough on two occasions. He went with me back to the key area and the associate quickly got rid of the future customer. It was at that time that I learned that the associate used the wrong blank and in fact that home depot didnt have the correct blank to make my key. I was fuming by this time. A very bad experience.

DEAR GOD DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ASKING THEM ANYTHING. These are minimum wage idiots who dont care about their jobs so they dont know anything about it. I didnt even step foot inside the store. I was so mad by the time I hung up the phone there was no way I was gonna bother repeating myself another 300 times in person. After being on hold for 10 minutes and then getting transferred around the store after I had already requested the electrical department, I had no patience left to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over (I want you to truly feel my frustration) and over and over and over and over to a gentleman who should not be interacting with customers. Then my coworker attempted to call back and was repeatedly "transferred" to the same department only to be put on hold and end up back at the customer service desk with someone with an attitude problem. All I needed to do was read off a number and be told if there was any in stock. If you guys cant do something that simple, how can you call yourself a business?

Friends have described this problem and I experienced it--repackaged goods. We needed just a simple curtain traverse rod. Website said there were two in stock. There was one. It had been previously opened, clerk checked and said everything was in te box. I paid full price, reasonable, $19.. Got it home, brackets and insructions were missing. I managed to adapt some old brackets we had at home, since I didnt want to go back to the store when we wanted this up that night.. I put in a negative review on Home Depots website, but it wasnt published. Instead, a manager called me to apologize, said they were changing the way things happen, and shed leave a coupon for me at the service desk. I want in, and was offered 10% off my next purchase. I was not impressed. Ill shop elsewhere.

Home Depot has definitely improved since I posted a comment a year ago. We recently purchased a new KitchenAid dishwasher from Home Depot/Beaverton. The salesman was very helpful. The first dishwasher was delivered in damaged condition (it looked like the deliverers had scratched and dented the front panel). Another new one was delivered a week later. However, the deliverers/installers (very rude Soberanis employees) refused to install (probably because it was late in the day), saying that the opening was insufficient (a lazy persons excuse). So, Home Depot (manager Cindy) got right on the phone and had A-1 installers come right out the next day; and A-1 installed the dishwasher with a smile. Home Depot was on-line, helping all the way. Thanks, Cindy and Home Depot.

When I remodeled my kitchen at my Cedar Hills home back in 1999, I went to the North Beaverton Home Depot for supplies and advice - so impressed with the service and loved that they allowed Augie our big Springer Spaniel to shop with us - Nice! I bought a new home in the West Slope area ca. 2004 and they had opened the South Beaverton Home Depot - it easier location for us to access and Augie dug it! I went through a larger remodel on the original home; paint, new doors, closet doors and storage, mouldings, new bathroom >> everyone on the Home Depot team was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend this place!

Would not return an item just purchased from online. Very disturbing when the management shows you zero respect as a customer. Explains why the 4 of the 5 customer service representatives I spoke with just before him were excessively disrespectful Very disappointed in home depot 13+ years as a loyal customer with only one return ever..... They wont be getting any of my business for any of my future jobs! Been thinking of selling my stock for about 4 years, defiantly am now. Conglomerate of too big not caring about the consumer. Dont shop home depot, shop lowes, shop pro build, shop local

Dont expect anything from this location except rude people and worst customer service than any other Home Depot store. I cant blame anyone except myself for going to that location again while the other location In Tigard has much nicer people and you feel their caring all the time. Save yourself ruining your day and drive 10 minutes to Lowes or Tigard location if you are planning to fix a problem or have question or want to do price match or anything like that, if you are just planning to buy something and know where is it, go there, but a sincere advice, use the personal checkout

Due work, Ive been coming here multiple times a week. They are always grossly understaffed, good luck finding anyone if you need help. If you do manage to find the rare, hiding employee, customer service is sub-par at best. Ive been sent on far too many circles around the store repeatedly being sent to wrong isles. Dont even attempt to call in questions, most of the time they hang up on you mid ring, the rest of the time they tell me they dont know their own products in stock, or theyre short and disinterested. Find a small hardware shop and save yourself the headache.
