My 5yo son and I tried this place on recommendation from a friend. It wouldve been easier to find if there was better signage out front. Its in the middle of a residential area. I found it because there was a large family eating outside. Parking - I parked on the street. There was no obvious parking lot for this place. It is within walking distance (in my opinion) of the San Antonio shopping center if you want to park and shop at Kohls or Walmart, and stop in here for a snack. Ordering was easy to do. Their menu is simple, with some seasonal fruits and flavors featured. Theres enough space between tables to park a stroller or two but double-strollers might be a tight fit. I ordered a milk tea with boba, which tasted fresh, not like it came from a powder mix. My 5yo and I shared a mango snow. I found it a little too sweet but he liked the fresh mango topping. I also ordered something that looked like ball-waffles, but they ran out of batter and offered a substitute food. I chose the pepperoni munchadilla, a pizza-quesadilla hybrid. It was a good light meal/heavy snack option. The only thing I didnt like was that it took over 40 minutes between finishing our order and actually getting any of it. Theres a screen that displays estimated train arrivals and departures. And this place has free wifi, but I had to ask for the password. Overall, I would recommend this place but expect it to take a while.

MY FAVORITE PLACE FOR SHAVED SNOW :D I love their shaved snow! Definitely the best in the bay area. I recommend this place over the popular chain Snowflake. Why are they best? 1. Their shaved snow is smoooooth. It melts in your mouth and the texture is amazing. 2. The flavors are bomb!!! They have some interesting flavors like vietnamese coffee, jasmine milk tea, or thai tea. It changes so they keep it interesting but they really nail the flavors. I love their Jasmine milk tea. You can actually taste the tea and it wasnt overly sweet! It was as if the drink jasmine milk tea turned to sheets of snow. 3. Toppings are great and they also have drizzles you can add on! They have red bean topping, different mochi toppings and of course traditional fruits and many more! If you check in, you can get one free drizzle! Try their black sesame drizzle if they still have because its soo good! The downside is that the place is a little small so large parties might struggle finding seating and parking can be confusing. Its located near a residential area across a caltrain station so you can park on the street or in the caltrain parking lot.

Best Ive ever had? Nah, but close! Best Ive ever had in the Bay? Oh FOSHO, especially given the incredibly sub par offerings here in San Francisco. Wanting to make the most of my once or twice a year trip to South Bay (oh you think I kid) by knocking off a few bookmarks, SnoZen was immediately at the top of my list of places to eat. Ordered a rather unusual combo Id previously tried in SoCal: matcha snow and Oreo crumbles, but supplemented it this time with their black sesame drizzle and fresh mango. And hey, it was delicious: the snow itself had great flavor, but, just as importantly, it had the perfect texture, neither too icy, too creamy, nor too melty. Parking in the immediate area was pretty painful, but fairly abundant on the other side of the overpass. ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - Theres an inaccessible upper level, but the main level is completely accessible, and fairly spacious. Theres also a couple tables outside as well, if thats your thing. Bathroom - Totally accessible.

Tip- you can sample the snows before you buy them! The workers dont love this because it takes awhile and the sample size is ... Quite big... But just so you know, its something you can do. The Taro snow is ulimatly the best thing here. I didnt get around to try the chocolate snow, but Ive had a taste of almost everything else. Also, another tip- you dont have to stick to the toppings on the menu. Choose your base snow flavor and choose your own toppings. The Taro snow with toppings meant for the matcha snow combo is absolutely delicious. (Who wants almonds in their taro???) Snow here is super sweet. Texture is like a mix between ice cream and shaved ice, though its leaning more towards ice cream. Actually, its way sweeter than both. 5 stars because theres pretty much no other good snow places around here. Forget teaspoon. Service is very slow, by the way. Dont come here with a large group of friends.

4.5 stars! Ive recently developed a sweet tooth and was extremely happy to find Chilly & Munch. The map provided by the business was informative and we found plenty of parking in the underground garage. We ordered the matcha green tea shaved ice and thought it was quite good. It could use a bit more condensed milk throughout, however, because after the tower of ice toppled over and the portion with the condensed milk was covered, the remainder of the dessert lacked the sweetness of the condensed milk. It was difficult to dig up the portions with the condensed milk as it was covered and on the bottom of the plate. We came on a Friday night and it was really busy. There was only 1 table open for seating and a large group ordered before us so we had to wait about 20 minutes before our dessert came out. Id definitely recommend coming here for some yummy desserts!

Pretty cute place that just opened! Its right on the street corner, and its not a plaza so youll have to find street parking. You can choose b/w small, medium and large sizes, and an assortment of flavors. I tried the mango flavor with mango topping and condensed milk, and thought it was very tasty! The shaved snow isnt too sweet, which I liked (so it doesnt taste artificial). They also have a seasonal menu with cool flavors such as banana and avocado (which taste like the real deal!) if you wanna be adventurous. Overall, the price is really good for the amount of shaved snow you get (equivalent to getting frozen yogurt), and the staff is super friendly!

Ice cream and fruit was really delicious, but the service was actually quite rude. I ordered a coffee with our dessert and it took over 10 minutes to come out - long after the ice cream. When I walked up to the counter to check on it, I was told, "It isnt ready yet," in a short tone and the man turned his back on me and walked off. When it came out, I had to ask at the counter for cream, and the man shoved the cream at me and walked off again. We sat near the stairs, and the same man kept bumping into my chair as he pushed past me to get supplies. I will not go back.

Im a huge fan of finding new places and getting to try them out before the world hears about it. Sno-Zen is one of them! I really like this place because its in a quiet location w/ ..semi easy to find parking (since its residential). The owners are very nice and are definitely enthusiastic about having their shop succeed. One of the owners actually came to talk to us to ask us how the snow was and made small conversation. I presume this behavior wont continue once Sno-Zen makes it big but it was a nice touch to an after dinner dessert.
