A little corner pakced with a tasty, tasty flavors. Many of which rotate frequently! Some of my favorites have been London Fog, Butterbeer (Youre a wizard, Harry!), A Tale of Two Teas (Earl Grey and matcha), and the UW Honey is a fantastic stand-by, if you cant decide. Its local, dig? Like, the berries come from nearby, the honey comes from UW (duh), and they blend it together like, well... Sweet Alchemy, get it? Staff has always been friendly (and accomodating with samples!), the place is always clean, and theyre very transparent about where their products come from. Also, its some delicious ice cream, perhaps some of the best in North Seattle!

My young teenage daughter and her friend recently had a bad encounter with staff at this location. I went in to talk to the woman about not being rude to teenage shoppers, the manager became hostile and insisted I leave the shop. Upsetting children (both girls of color shopping alone) and then becoming angry at a parent who advocates for being kinder to teenage customers....doesnt matter how tasty the ice cream was, until they replace this staff member I wont be taking the kids back here.

This place is such a great find! Amazing ice cream flavors for anyone who appreciates classic flavors with a twist as well as those that are more adventurous. I loves the London Fog ice cream and the black sesame. They also serve smoothies, espresso, and tea and have a great selection of fun and unique desserts like ice cream macaroons, ice cream cream puffs, and a Philosopher Stoned Sundae. This adorkable shop is well worth a visit if youre in the area.

Amazing ice cream find in the U District! I had the "dark force" which was chocolate cookies with chocolate ganache ice cream. Delicious. I had it in a cup that had a waffle shape on it which was very creative and worked well for putting some yummy chocolate fudge on top. My dining companions had a butter cream ice cream, London fog (earl Grey with butter cream), and lemon custard. They loved all their flavors. They also have delicious coffee.

A wonderful local ice cream shop. Their ingredients are thoughtfully sourced, and many of the unique flavors are inspired by local ingredients. I had a honey ice cream that was sweetened with honey from UW hives. A very inventive perspective on a sweet shop. Ice cream is pricey, so its not one that I would go to for a special treat, but well worth all the free tastings and creative scoops.

I have been here quite a few times and every time the person behind the counter has been delightful! With their constantly rotating and always tasty ice cream flavors they are one of my fave spots in the UD. Today I was having a real bummer of a day and the woman behind the counter was so bright and smiling it really helped me get on the right track.

The ice cream here is delicious! The girl behind the counter was super nice and let me try a bunch of flavors until I found the perfect one. The mixed tea flavor was amazing and so was the cookies and cream. I wont lie that flavor combination goes hand in hand :P. I cant wait to go back next time Im in Seattle!

This may be the best ice cream in Seattle, largely owing their thick and balanced sweet cream base. Its to this base they add thoughtful flavors made in house. Ive only tried five flavors. But I cant wait to go back and try more. Maybe tonight...

Women owned business! BEST ICECREAM IN THE CITY! There is always new flavors like green & black tea, taro, honey lavender, theos chocolate and local coffee roasters. They have a thai milk and everything is fresh and made in house.

Really spectacular ice cream flavors, my first experience with them was when they had sold out of every flavor except vanilla and "London Fog", which was excellent if slightly off-beat. A good place for indie vibes.

The ice cream here is good, but not $1.30 per ounce for a small (that is not a typo; a "pico," their three-ounce portion, is $3.91 after tax and before tip) good. Stick to Full Tilt, leave this one to the tourists.

This independently-owned by a lovely inviting woman, crafts small batch delicious flavors that are nothing but elegant on the palatte, at a respectable price point for a high quality Artisan treat.

Not sure how or why so many people gave many stars for this place. For me, it was high priced ($3.55 for a small ice cream cone?) and the flavours were about the same as Safeway-brand ice cream.

I would say that ice cream was good, but I was put off by the really high prices... There also wasnt a huge selection. Overall the shop was extremely clean though and the staff were very nice.

Often crowded, but good ice cream with unique flavors. It is a bit on the pricey side for the amount you get. They measure everything which is just silly. Just fill up my bowl please!!

Amazing ice cream, amazing staff. I was touring Seattle on my own and accidentally stumbled in here, and I am very glad I did. Taste was delicious, great fresh flavors.

Fun flavors and cute store. Cakes and ice cream macarons. Not super premium, creamy ice cream like Molly Moons, but still fun to try. Pricy and smaller portions.

Its good ice cream, but there have been times when we didnt get the flavor we asked for, which is disappointing. Taste each scoop before you leave, I guess.

Friendly staff, diverse flavors with consideration for all dietary restrictions. A little spendy for the amount of ice cream though.

The ice cream was so over churned I had butter chunks. After a few bites I threw it in the trash. Strawberry flavor was missing.

Always new and unique flavors every time I come in. Today was Korean rice beer (makgeolli) - light and very pleasant.

Pretty good ice cream but the prices are laughably high. Go to Full Tilt up the ave, its cheaper and better.

The next best thing to homemade ice cream is the small batch ice cream of Sweet Alchemy.
