Cookies are pretty awesome especially when you smother ice cream in between them. So you know why I stumbled into CREAM. I am a woman who loves her cookies and there is only one person that appreciates cookies more than me. Cookie monster and just like cookie monster we both like to eat our cookies viciously and obnoxiously in an unnecessary fashion. Dont worry no cookies were obstructed or harmed during my visit. Ive been here a couple of times and was uber excited to try it out. So many cookies and toppings I frantically contemplated on which cookies to get and what to put on what. I decided to keep it simple and grab chocolate chip cookies w/ mint chocolate chip ice cream. Everyone said the cookies were soft and chewy but both of the times Ive tried.. sadly they were not. Being "Gourmet" Ice Cream sandwiches I had high expectations. I dont mind shelling out dollar bills for a sweet treat but do mind when they are a little hard/stale?!? I also have to agree with some of the Yelpers that the ice cream had more ice in it then I wanted. Maybe my taste buds are defected and worn out but I do give them props for the shop. Last time I was there I saw they had ice cream tacos. How could I possibly hate on those when everything is better with a taco in between it!

1030 pm .. 2 workers disagreed about pricing in front of us and the second worker decided to overcharge us and be rude by not acknowledging it. No apology or explanation about the pricing .. No apology about him accidentally overcharging us either .I feel that as a customer, once a person is being handled by the first worker and is told a set price for what he /she is wants to get, the company workers cannot disagree in front of them during the checkout process because of the price assumption beforehand. If both the workers mentioned to us about how we were going to be charged, it wouldnt be taken so badly.

My daughter and I stopped here on Monday afternoon. We were taking a walking tour of downtown San Jose before our flight left. This sweet ice cream shoppe was the PERFECT ending to our delightful California holiday! It was innovative, yummy, well priced and in a great location! I had the macadamia nut/ white chocolate cookie with salted caramel ice cream. She had turtle and Double chocolate chip cookies with chocolate fudge ice cream AND chocolate sauce. And the server was so nice. WE LOVE SAN JOSE!

I personally prefer more dense and creamy CREAM San Jose. When I sampled a few flavors, a couple were too watery tasting. I settled for the green-tea rose. That was good. Its good if youre looking for light refreshing flavors. I really like the cone - but mine wasnt coasted with chocolate on the inside, just a chunk of chocolate on the bottom. Long lines. They should learn from Salt & Straw on making a more efficient line so people dont have to wait so long.

Its good. I feel like I can make it at home because its so simple. But its a nice quick midnight snack that is not too pricy ($2.99). The portion is large. I can barely finish half of the ice cream sandwich. I like to have coconut sprinkles on top of my ice cream. Line is long but move really quick. Even with the line, they dont rush me through but let me take my time picking flavors.

Make your own ice cream sandwich. Pick your cookies and ice cream flavor and they make it into an ice cream sandwich. These are delicious and a great value for only $3. They also have vegan options, which are a bit more expensive. Parking is very limited at this location.

This place is more hype amongst teens than anything else. Ive braved the constant long line a couple times now because my friends really like it. Ive tried different ice cream and cookie flavors and Ive yet to find one I go crazy for. Pretty ordinary ice cream shop.

This sandwich was delicious! So cute and tasty. The mint chocolate chip with the double chocolate cookie was a great combo. They do have a couple of dairy free options which is nice! The outdoor seating wasnt the best but other than that, it was awesome!

I wish they had butter pecan. I tried other flavors but ended settling for good old Vanilla. The dipped waffle cone was delicious. I would come back. I do have one suggestion: if you sell bottled drinks, having a bottle opener would be great.

i love my desserts. my two favorites: chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. combine them and you get amazing sugar rush. just pick whatever your fav cookie is and your fav ice cream flavor; theyll have it. smash them together and leave happy

Amazing cookies and ice cream place! Open till late night and there is always a line! Parking can be limited but they do parking validation. Vegan options are available too! Have already tried half a dozen flavors and they are all great!

My favorite ice cream shop, oh it is awesome. Its basically like an Its It sandwich ice cream. You pick your cookie and the type of ice cream you want and then pay with their quick iPad payment system, which supports phone nfc payments.

Its good. Of Course you can make it at home but, CREAM is just a great place. The workers were friendly and nice. Ice cream sandwiches are $2.99 and single cookies are $1.99. I really love this place, I will be back.

Just went here for my first time and I think I found my favorite ice cream place in San Jose! The cookies were fresh and went great with the ice cream! I got chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter twist ice cream.

I went there wishing to be like LAs MILK, but was a tad disappointed. The ICS wasnt all that bad though. The cookies and the ice creams tasted decent enough and for the price tag, not too bad a dessert option at all.

We had an icecream sandwich with white chocolate macadamia nut cookie on one side and snickerdoodle on another with cin-ful churro icecream. It was absolutely great. The service was good too but very lively staff.

Good ice cream sandwiched between different cookies of your choosing. Nothing I crave, but its satisfying on a warm day. Small shop, so ingress and egress is a little awkward when theres a crowd.

Green tea ice cream sandwich FTW!! I wish the green tea tasted stronger, like a little matcha-y-er, but still very good! The green tea is good with snickerdoodle and the double chocolate one!

The two cookie sandwich is too much for me to finish, so they accommodate by making a half cookie sandwich which I LOVE. I get a choc chip cookie w coffee ice cream & oreo topping. YUM!

The ice cream is amazing, the shops open late, and they even offer gluten free cookies! Save some room for dessert after dinner downtown and you will surely not regret it.

The staff was nice. I had the cookies. Nothing to write home about, but the teenagers I was with loved their ice cream sandwiches. Outdoor seating. Near public transit.
