I bought a sectional and the matching ottoman 3 months ago. I was told the ottoman was on back order and wouldnt be delivered for another 4 weeks. I went ahead and ordered and paid for it anyways. Well when that 4 weeks came and went and I still hasnt received any info or delivery date I called and they informed me that it was still on back order and now wouldnt be available for amother 4-5 weeks. I really wanted the matching ottoman so I continued to wait for it for another 5 weeks. Then I finally get a text and call from Ashley furniture informing me that my ottoman was to arrive that Thursday. So I cleared that Thursday because i for damn sure didnt want to reschedule the delivery date after waiting that long for it to come. I patiently waited "All. Day. Long." -for this damn delivery truck, I was calling the 800 number as well as the number for Ashley furniture in Long Beach(where I had purchased it from) ***NO ONE ANSWERED THAT DAMN PHONE ALL DAY LONG! **** Not until about 7 or 8:00 that night did someone finally pick up after I let it ring for about 25 min straight! And the associate looks up my account and tells me that the ottoman WAS STILL ON BACK ORDER! FOR ANOTHER MONTH!! Then why the hell did I get all these text and calls CONFIRMING the time and date of my delivery? I even talked to an associate at the store a week prior to getting those text messages and she informed me that the ottoman WAS IN STOCK. And that I should be getting a call within a week about my delivery date!!!! I had enough of this B.S. by now and just wanted my $200 back . So I had to drive all the way over there to cancel my order for it because I apparently couldnt do this over the phone.. Since I paid with a check I would have to get refunded by check . Whatever no big deal... They said it should about 2 weeks for it to be approved and sent out and to call back in two weeks for an update. Weeeell I waited the two weeks and I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR AN UPDATE FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS NOW. EVERYDAY. CALLING NON STOP. LETTING IT RING OFF THE HOOK AND ***NO. ONE. WILL. ANSWER. THE . DAMN. PHONE!!!***EVER! Until Christmas eve , then someone finally answered. They told me my check had been mailed out a few days prior and I should get it after Christmas. Its been 5 days now.... NOTHING! Shouldnt take 2 weeks for a damn check to be mailed 10 miles away... And when I try calling- surprise, surprise- NO ONE ANSWERS THE DAMN PHONE! Ever heard of Customer Service Ashleys Furniture? I doubt it because even their customer service number is never working.

I finally got my husband, who suffers from advanced Alzheimers, into assisted living. I needed to buy bedroom furnishings for his room and needed it by the following Friday or Saturday, when he was scheduled to move in. On the previous Saturday before his move in date, I shopped on line and found a bed, dresser and night stand that I wanted. I also found that both Wickes in Cerritos and Ashleys in the Long Beach Town Center sold it. I called Wickes who said they had it in stock, but could not guarantee a delivery date. Then I called Ashleys. Salesman Mike said he would check and call me back. He called back and said the furniture was available and they could deliver. Perfect, I thought, and went to Ashleys and bought the pieces along with a chair. Mike said that the bedroom furniture would be there Friday and the chair would be in about a week later. He also said I would get a call a day or so earlier confirming the delivery. By Thursday afternoon I had not received a call, so I called Ashleys and talked to Shantilly in Customer Services. We soon figured out that Mike had goofed and transposed two numbers in my phone number on the sales receipt, and delivery had attempted to call me. Shantilly told me she could schedule it for Monday and even offered me a gift certificate. I went on to explain my situation to her, and she said she would talk to her manager and send an email and get back with me. By the way, Ashleys was having a big sale and I know they were very busy. In spite of this Shantilly did not brush me off, she was really trying to help me, a very sweet girl. Shantilly was able to re-schedule me for Saturday, and I felt so relieved. Friday I got a call from delivery telling me that one piece of the furniture was not in stock, and they wanted to re-schedule for the following Tuesday. The piece not in stock was the foot of the bed and they needed it to assemble the bed. I told delivery that I desperately needed it and to please deliver what they had, figuring we would put the mattress and box springs on the floor for now. Delivery agreed to that. Delivery is supposed to be tomorrow, and Ill have to see what happens. Mike was okay, although it might not be a bad idea for him to have the customer double check the info he puts into the computer. But Shantilly was a doll. She really put her all into trying to help. That girl should get a raise.

3rd UPDATE: Veronica and Marlene were extremely rude via the phone. Stating the reason i do not have my couch is because Stella the sales associate had told me there was a delay on the motorized option for the couch I wanted and that I declined and settled for the other option. Which is a complete lie. I didnt even know there was an option for the couch. But to blame me and to be rude to me over the phone shows lack of proper customer service. And I wish I would have read reviews before purchasing with this company. They asked for me to review them on Google upon my original purchase. So my 5 stars unfortunately has quickly went down to a 1 star. UPDATE: had to lower my star rating as we have been without furniture since we moved here and were so excited about receiving our items. We had to wait a wk from purchase day. Movers were super nice & great. But the sales lady sold me the cheap version of the couch I asked to buy. The couch I sat on had electric buttons to recline. That is the couch I said I wanted and thought they sold me. Today they told me I didnt choose that option. But there was never an option given and it wasnt the one I even sat on. I had to decline the delivery and now wait for a new couch to be delivered. Said they would give me the better version for the same price .. and thats all they could do for me. Which is bs because I was sold on the price of the couch I was sitting on when i said Id take it! 4th furniture store we came to ... was looking for great quality and fare pricing. Minh greeted us when we entered. Let us know they were starting their promotion of 50%off on Wednesday but will honor it today! Minh was not pushy at all, which I sincerely appreciate. He gave us time to look around, came and checked in on us and gathered together what we were really looking for. We finally made a decision and were ready to roll. Applying for a loan so we didnt have to shell out a bunch of cash straight away, was quick and not stressful. Minh & his boss were great and understanding and helped us stay within our budget. Leaving as happy customers! We will definitely be back to purchase more furniture from them in the future.
