Have yet to have a good experience there. Had a bike so brought it in for maintenance, took it riding and gears slipped every time. Purchased the extra warranty, had it tuned up again, gears slipped, nothing was fixed again. Came in to buy a new mountain bike, was sold a terrible one that broke on first try so came in to exchange it for a more expensive one and they want to charge me $160 just to bring it back. The bike was defective and I was charged to return it. The salesperson had no idea what he was talking about and kept trying to push me to buy the same crappy bike. Looked around, unfortunately found myself trying to buy thete again, new salesperson seem to know his stuff better them the last, but was rude and even cursed while speaking. Bike I was interested in was $2400 on sale and he walked away while I had questions. They dont seem to want to help, only sell.

Prompt acknowledgment. Went in for tubes for a jogging stroller. I didnt just get what i paid for, I wish I remembered his name- he gave sound knowledgable advice, went above and beyond by installing the tubes with air [some bike shops charge!] checked the tires for thorns and even picked them out for us!!! We received help out the door when we were finished. The staff was helpful and engaging with my 1yr old son, who was running around tearing down the place. We got the opposite treatment from a local bike shop in dana point off pch-the fancy one with the coffee shop. Its great to know old fashioned customer service isnt lost on everyone. This is one of the roomier store locations in the region, with lots of selection of bikes, parts, accessories, and clothing. Staff very friendly and helpful as with all Performance stores. They participate as sponsor for several local charity rides and host clinics and weekend rides of their own. Prices are generally good, but many deals and discounts are available throughout the year for even better bargains. The lifetime guarantee is simply awesome and worth checking out if you are unfamiliar.

A broken company with a broken website that will hopefully go under sooner than later. Terrible customer service. The only good thing about this company is their 10% cash back but they managed to break that too by giving me a negative balance. Buy your bike parts online so that companies like these can get what they deserve

Out of numerous shopping experiences here, I can say with certainty that the shop reeks of coldness and corporatism. Sure, theyll probably have the parts you need, but the service team wont go out of their way to explain repairs, wont let you borrow a tool for 45 seconds, and charges high prices for repairs. This is no LBS.

Awesome customer service, I bought a pump 2 years ago and they had a lifetime warranty on it and offered to replace it with no questions asked. Im going to buy everything from here from now on when it comes to bicycle stuff I forgot how cool they are
