This place used to be nice but now it SUCKS. I went there at 8:15pm and a girl named Kelly was working the cutting station. I stood in line for a good 15 minutes for this employee to stop talking to a customer about her cats.... She was done helping the lady before I even was in line. They were just talking and talking even though she saw i needed things cut. I do not want to wait forever for a conversation to end. After she FINALLY ended talking about her 3 kittens she told me she had to help a person that took a number before me... so after waiting 5 minutes, (which could have been used to cut my 2 pieces) the other customer finally came. The employee could not talk and cut at the same time for the life of her, so she decided to cut a piece every 5 minutes in between her conversation about Disneyland and hair bows. (which, by the way, The employee was doing ALL the talking) So at 8:52pm I had enough so I put away my cloth and left. The employee had no concern that the store was closing and she had only cut 3 pieces of fabric. CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE SUCKS. Do not waste your time! I will NEVER be going back there again.

ive gone to joanns for 25years sence moving to calif, and mostly the hb ca store,only when i have to. they have alway been unhelpful, low engery,and never about customer service. i just assumed this is the model the company has chosen for their businesses. iv gone to others in other citys and they seem the same. there isnt even any music in the stores eather. i even talked to the manager one time but she didnt see what i saw. they hire young people at times but they seem to also be low engery and kind of meloncoly. so its to bad,how do they stay in business? jennys is just as bad, so just go get what you need and get out i guess. peace makers, and tall mouse are really warm and friendly places if you wish to drive alittle more. sue

Horrible customer service. I had to return something from another Jo-Ann store and was basically called a liar and told I couldnt return my item because my receipt was on yellow paper, not white paper. I was told "Thats not how our company operates" by Judy, one of the employees, in front of a line full of customers. After the manager called the original store, I was able to return the item. I had to stand in line twice behind 6+ people with one register open, for something that wasnt my fault. Employees (including manager) are lazy, slow and unwilling to help. I will NEVER shop at Jo-Anns again. Hobby Lobby and Michaels have more to offer and so much better customer service.

This Jo-Anns is great for whenever I need seasonal things or non sale items to use coupons. I must say the older ladies here all need a big attitude adjustment, theyre all pretty negative and mean. Sara seems to always be there when I am and she is always extremely helpful and nice. Megan has been helpful too, Ill definitely come back whenever I need artsy things and hope that Ill see Sara or Megan.

I try to avoid this Joann store. They just dont have the stock that I like. They have fabric galore, but not at decent pricing. They never have enough paper crafts and art supplies and what they do have it has been on their shelves for a long time. I live local and sure wished someone would take some pride in this store and hire some nice help and revamp their stock more often.

Wide variety of sewing related craft items, plus craft items for weddings, beading, and much more. I with there was more cloth selection. It seems geared mostly to cotton prints for quilting, and cloth for costumes and craft items. It used to feature cloth that was higher end, but alas, no more. It can be hard to locate items. Better signing would help.

Their inventory system said they had 26 of one item I needed and 1 of the other. In reality they had 0 of each. I wasted 20 here. The staff really didnt care. The assistant? manager at least apologized and threw a discount (I had to ask) on the items I settled for.

i go to this jo-anns cause its close and convenient, but the older women that work there are so RUDE! and they make me feel bad about wanting to buy fabric. i think they need to hire younger, happy-to-help, fun employs that make you feel welcome.

Store needs more lighting and organization. Seems like they are in a constant state of reorganizing and this makes it hard to find prices or find what youre looking for. Scanners may or may not be working.
