So Im late with writing this but here is my experience. Im a black American with great job in the Nursing department at Cedars. With that being said, I went to this place with my family, little boy and pregnant wife during December of 2014. Walked in and no customer service greetings from anyone. We were in their for about 45 mins. Stood in the ladies department while my wife looked at items. There was a ton of workers there standing around talking and laughing but would glance over at us and continue to talk. No one asked us if we needed help. So all the time we were standing in that same spot, a white lady comes over by us and immediately one of the sales workers came over to help her. Another lady came out from the back and soon as she saw my family standing, she quickly looks at us and does a U TURN!!! This is not the first time that this has happened to my family out in Glendale! Glendale hates black Americans and I will never ever step foot in that city again! Oh and the proof is all on the store cameras!! I will be going to court!

My family and I visited this store this past weekend on Saturday. Together we had 5 children/girls, the five girls needed shoes and could not make up their mind. We were in the Kids department and assisted by an employee, with extraordinary attitude, was patient and with the best customer service I have ever seen in my entire life! I asked him for his name, Michael A. Fresquez! It was pretty busy and that department was well kept and organized we were there 2 hours this gentleman was providing service to us while assisting may other clients as well, my family and I noticed how very well he handled the situation, it was around 1 or 2 p.m. and very busy, he was very respectful, diligent and helpful to not only us (we were a total of 9 people) but to other clients. It was not until we were leaving with our purchases that we noticed we had been assisted by the best employee ever this guy has a gift and should train other employees, wanted to make sure he was recognized.

This review is for SILVANA in the womens shoe department. She was so great in helping locate a pair of boots for me. When she couldnt find it, she ordered it, and then even called me personally after she found the shoe in the store. She cancelled my order, saved the shoes for me and made the process so easy! When I saw the boots were on sale elsewhere, I made sure to contact her to see if they would do a price adjustment since she deserved the sale/credit. She was happy to accommodate and I was happy to give my money to Nordstrom rather than the other boutique! This woman is the definition of customer service! I truly hope her management sees this review and gives her a raise!

The service I have received over the past month and particularly this week has been exceptional - The fragrance counter manager is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I so appreciated her help. In the childrens department over the holidays and again this week I had amazing service from the girls department - I had seen a dress and decided to get it the next day, so called in. She found the dress, wrapped it up and mailed it out for me - all taken care of in a matter of minutes over the phone - so easy and fast! Stellar service and merchandise.

The store is kept well. Everything nice and organized. My 2 stars is for the lady that helped me. She was like a shark. I went to get a friend a birthday gift. I wasnt sure what I wanted to get. This lady kept following me thought the store when I clearly told her that I need some time to walk around and look for a gift. I had to go to the Nordstrom in the Topanga mall. I dont like the closer Nordstrom locations so I went all the way down there. It was not a good experience. Its a shame.

Worse customer service ever. This store needs better management, because everything starts with management. Every time I visit this place (especially with a return) I get bad looks, and bad vibes. No one wants to help me, and they always make the return process long and frustrating. I mostly visit Nordstrom for returns, because I do most of my shopping online. They really shouldnt make a big deal about returns at store.

Warning! Do not go today. Place is a mad house today. I couldnt get any associates help because of all the people here. My claustrophobia is x 100 right now. Parking was a so hard to find. Most of all Im just not happy with how the associate knew that I was waiting to see some shoes and she acted like she forgot that I have been standing there for the past 30 min trying to get a size. I just cant. Im out!

great aesthetics from all Nordstrom stores that ive visited. I was on vacation in Glendale California and decided to check this store. I love the clothing and the quality that is offered at Nordstroms I could live here thats how fantastic this store is. If you seek a quality item then this is the store for you. Ive been to Nordstrom in New York City and San Francisco, THE BEST!
