I dont like shopping here even though this one is 5 minutes from my home. I rather drive the extra 20 minutes and shop at the Huntington Beach location. The H.B. Costco food court is outside (very convenient) and from the time you walk into the store all the way to the food court, all the staff is super friendly. The Garden Grove Costco is totally the opposite than this one. Everyone here is just rude and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I mean everyone beginning with the greeters at the door all the way up to the managers and the cashiers are a joke. They dont greet you. They are in such a hurry to get you out of there that they make so many mistakes and almost throw your items in your shopping cart as well as almost throw your member card at you. I rarely let things like this bother me but I gave the Garden Grove Costco a second even a third chance and nothing changed. The managers are either M. I. A. or in a huddle with other associates gossiping instead of helping control the lines at the registers or the people jam at the food court (which by the way is located inside next to the registers) or the people backup at the exit. All these people seem like they dont take their job seriously. They have to seriously thank us, the customers that shop at this Costco because if it werent for us, they wouldnt have a job.

It had been a while since Id been to Costco so we decided to go - just to go and because the gas was cheap. It was the weekend so it was busy and parking is messy because its in Little Saigon so good luck trying to get a spot. You have to fight a bunch of aggressive Asians. Inside, its very much the same. I wanted to leave. More aggressive Asians without a care in the world, just pushing their carts wherever they want to go... *sigh* We couldnt even get to the samples. Everyone would take whatever was available for the family they brought with them. Wtf? So why 4 stars? Its still big. It still has so amazing deals and its clean. Staff is super friendly. I cant understand why given the clientele but they are. We decided to get the Costco pizza for dinner. It takes about 20 minutes to make so order it first and then spend that time browsing and shopping. We timed it perfectly, got our random crap, and our piping hot pizza.

On June 7-17, I Purchased a infinity massage chair inside costco, infinity sale prep said he will me to schedule a delivery day and it take about 3 weeks,3 days later i went back try to return the item,costco cust service told me me its a third party thing, that i have to call infinity company ,so i went home call infinity and cancel the order , and he said it take 24 to 48 hours for the refund go back to my citi card,week later no refund , so i call costco prep gave him all the information , then he putted me on hold, come back he said the item just get cancel and i dont have to do any thing on my part,this time costco did not told me how long it will take for my refund go back to my citi card, week later no still no refind, i call back costco ask for store manager , they got she on the phone ,i told her the situation ,she took my number and said she will call me back. hahahaha no call no refund.

Bought a TV stand at Costco only to find it had a crack in it after completing about 90% of the assembly. Called up this Costco and they agreed to let me bring in the damaged part to swap it out. Saved me a ton of hassle as it would be a pain to disassemble it and put it back in the box and it wasnt going to fit in my car fully assembled. The only caveat was I had to buy another one and then return it again after swapping the part I needed. But they let me do it right there at the store and even provided me with a screwdriver to remove a part that I forgot to remove. This was about a month ago. Yesterday, I returned a coffee maker I bought in March of 2012 that has not been working correctly for a couple of months. Both times, the CSR that helped me was BEAR. Awesome service!

I saw a customer walked in a bin of water melons to pick out some melons. I told him that he should step out. Not only he damaged the water melons and created the unsanitary conditions for others customers. He stared and asked why I said that . Then he proceeded to the banana cases, dug thru 30 boxes to choose what he wanted and left a mess. I called the store and reported . Costco told me some one would be there shortly. I waited a while, no one showed up. The guy passed by me and told me why I was mad at him when it had nothing to do with me. I told him it was not acceptable what he had done to the fruits and the store. I was so disappointed that this Costco didnt do any thing . I just left the store and took my business somewhere else

Designed to fail, Just back in the area after a prolonged absence. Yes, I was at the opening for this store. Having the food court inside is STILL A VERY BAD idea. Shoppers trying to get out interfere with those trying to get food and vise-versa. Compared to the HB site (Yes, I was there for that locations opening and it was SPECTACULAR, and NO, I don’t work for Costco), this one is BAD, VERY, VERY, BAD. Needs MAJOR overhaul. 1. Visit the HB location and observe EVERYTHING. Use HB location as a template. 2. Move the food court AWAY from the entrance/exit. 3. Get rid of the pond scum employees who cannot understand the concept of customer service. Do any one of these and Ill seriously consider coming back. Until then, Ill stick with HB.

THE LARGE PIZZA UNDER $10 ITS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND UNBEATABLE. TWO. AWESOME MEMORY PILLOWS FOR UNDER $10, EXACTLY SAME PILLOWS OTHER STORES $45 YOU JUST CAN NOT GO WRONG AT COSTCO!!!!!...

Costco at Garden Grove provide the worst and rudest service than any other Costco from nearby areas, not only that it also has some racial discrimination issue it has to deal with. Any other Costco is far better place and more pleasant to shop than this location. Oh and it you come across this manager at cardmember service named ANGIE or the self-proclaim highest store manager named "PARKER" and have any issue with them, please file a complaint with the corporate office and not just let it slide. If you dont do something about a wrongdoing, youre not helping yourself and others.
