I moved to Fullerton 4 months ago. I first noticed Jax while driving by in Chapman ave. You can see hundreds of bikes hanging on the walls in the huge warehouse sized building. I immediately took interest and stopped by on my next outing. Upon entering I took a walk around the entire shop. They have a HUGE selection of all kinds of bikes. The coolest cruisers, racers, road bikes, mountian bikes, etc.. They also had a great selection of accessories, tires, tubes, locks, pegs, everything you could want. I met the manager Chris who was totally cool! Just the kinda guy that everyone would love to be friends with. I asked him about this little folding city bike that they had displayed on the counter top and he asked if I would like to take it for a spin. I said sure! So we both slapped on some helmets and went for big loop around the entire center. I told him I was new in town and he welcomed me to Fullerton. I didnt buy anything that day but I knew I would be back for some things. Today was my second time to the shop. I rode my electric mountain bike in and asked to see the bike locks. Brandon immediately showed me the two best locks for my needs. I decided on a Kryptonite U bike bolt. The price was totally fair and I was thankful for that! Then I asked if he would be so kind as to put some air in my tires. So he walked back and grabbed the pump and came back up and pumped them up for me to the PSI that I specified. Then I asked if he could let me borrow a couple tools and sure enough I intalled my new bike lock right there in the shop! Brandon walked me through the whole process of installing it correctly. As we did that one of their regulars named Paul was giving me tips on how to use my lock properly and he gave me a tip to replace the Quuick Release frot wheel and seat with standard bolts so they wont get stolen. Then I asked Chris how much it costs for a shifter cable, he got me a price real quick and I decided to buy that too since I needed it. Chris was real interested in my electric bike so we talked about that for a while. I told him if they want to hire on a electric bike specialist that I am his guy so I also got a job application while I was there. I really love this shop. Its clean and friendly, and if you love bikes you will feel so at home here! Rax rules! Rock on! :)

Service was quick and greeting was good. I went there at time of visit at 1pm on Monday 9/8/14. Had my paddle fixed, everything went well except when I walk my bike out, the break strings were on loose. so I walked back in to consult the person who fixed it (not naming who it was, this is for company to look it up themselves). He immediately went into defensive mode and say he didnt touch anything and my bike was like that and said he would charge me if I wanted it fixed. A bit disappointed to walk in a person who just tries to dodge the bullet. I walked my bike there, my left paddle fell off so I had to walk while looking down so I would run my leg into the oily part of the bike. And I would know it and ask him to fix it if it was like that. All Im saying is that this company should fix their employees ethics. Beside that, bike functions very well, good bike maintenance skill, dude.

Great bike repair shop with a bunch of supplies. I started going here as I had a flat tire and they were near where I live. At least 5 flat tires later, theyve become my go to repair shop. Fast and affordable repairs, way better, faster, and cheaper than other nearby repair stores. I can often just walk in and get the repair there right on the spot. They have some bike supplies there too that are reasonably priced. Plus, check in on Facebook for a discount. The staff there is super friendly and helpful as well.

I want to say thank you to John and his crew for all the good service. I purchased a bike from Jax and I was not oversold and had all my questions answered immed. The bike which I wanted was not in the Fullerton Stores inventory, so an employee drove across town and picked up my size from a different store without any questions. The bike was a perfect fit and I am a very happy customer. They have a great exchange policy with no questions asked for the first 30 days

Ive gone here a couple of times over the last few years and yesterday I picked up a bike and I had a great time picking it out. I had some family with me and we were able to try out a few bikes and ride them around the store. After we selected the bike the technicians answered all our questions and they gave us a good deal on the items I requested. Brandon helped us through most of the transaction and he and his team did a good job.

Over priced and they will upsell you on everything. They definitely have good bikes but I had an estimate on a basic tune up and the cost of labor is ridiculous. If any of you are like me and are on a tight budget and your bike is a necessity, try sport chalet. They so the same tune up and trying for half the price and most of jax bike mechanics were recruited from there anyways.

Davis was fantastic, I had a minor problem with my bike and I came in and he resolved it really quickly, he was also super friendly the whole time and always had a smile. I prefer going to this location over other bike shops that are near me purely for the fact that the people there are so great.

Their selection is pretty big compared to most other stores around the area. Pricey sure but if you bike all the time quality is important. Zac helped me on my bike and was awesome. Very knowledgeable and more then happy to answer any questions you may have.

I have brought my bike here to these guys since 2013 and they took great care of me. Mechanics are knowledgeable, and will do whatever it takes to serve you. Whenever I have issues, they will look over my bike and fine tune it without charging me a dime.

Average service with not much detail or explanation. Difficult to fork out thousands of dollars on that little customer service.
