Being a professional in a chosen field means much more than, donning a coat and tie, a college degree, or noted title. Professionalism has to do with how you conduct yourself during business affairs or daily encounters with other people. This image should not be forced or a costume you put on for the day. It should be who you are as an individual, the focus, determination and learned skill of the trade. Have you ever been to a car dealership and have experienced forced and overzealous sales approaches? Thinking possibly this sales man/woman are just company men/women trying to do a great job for the business. I have and have been disappointed many times over in the lack of positive, professional service experience, seeing only a show, which has ultimately led to lost business. I have sat in waiting areas for hours, been shuffled from one stage/sales person to another. I have Stared aimlessly at the TV they prop you up in front of. The successful companies train service representatives to emphasize quality customer service but in my opinion this has been a dying ART in the auto industry, until this week. I walked into MOMENTUM HYUNDAI FAIRFIELD thinking here Im again, walking into the proverbial shark tank. I have done this many times and have come out with good deals but vowing never to do business with these other unprofessional businesses again. But not this time, MOMENTUM HYUNDAI FAIRFIELD was the best car buying experience I have had. No offense to Pardais A. who first greeted me outside with a relaxed but confident, reassuring demeanor that he was there to help me, not badger me and truly the GLUE to this transaction (was great). But, out of professional respect, I have to start with the GM (Mr. James). Next to Sierra, who was working at the courtesy counter and answered my brief questions with a family run business feel, Mr. James the GM was the epitome of a true professional. He is whom I have described above. He was the second person I met. He didnt pompously carry himself or introduce himself as the GM or boss but, more as what could he do to help me out. I asked him for some numbers and he quickly went to work and produced what I asked for within fifteen minutes. We were shaking hands and sealing a deal that I would not have thought could happen so quickly. The numbers werent all in their favor either, so it showed me that the deal was more than just numbers. Mr. James was showing me he was a professional in his trade. I then met with Steve Y. he was a manager that new his stuff and wanted to make sure that all the numbers were correct and I had the best financing I could get. From there, I met with Phil W. He put together the contract and efficiently got me through financing within ten minutes. I couldnt believe it. This is usually the worst part of the transaction but talking with Phil, I could have spent another thirty minutes with him. He was professional and down to earth. Momentum Hyundai has changed my car buying experience for now. If you want a great car buying experience, give Momentum Hyundai and these guys a chance to earn your business. I know I will be buying many more cars from them in the future and referring as many people as I can to also enjoy the experience I had. Thanks...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER (And issues with purchase STILL not resolved for 8 months now). We purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra from Momentum in January of 2017. Everything was going normally until the point at which where we started going through the financing paperwork. From there on it seemed like the sales people, financing department and management turned into their "real selves" and cranked up the high-pressure, no-budging attitudes toward us. After going back and forth with issues such as GAP insurance (after being there for over 3 hours with our hungry 4 year old son, having driven an additional 2 hours to get there), my wife and I simply wanted to go home with our new car. We were assured by the finance specialist that we could cancel our GAP insurance as soon as the next day if we felt we didnt need it - though even when we said we didnt want it, we were pressured with all sorts of fast-talking, sales pitch style tactics. I admit we bowed to the pressure, knowing we could always cancel it the next day (like I said, we just wanted to be out of there at this point). Boy, was I wrong. Were still trying to get GAP insurance cancelled, along with trying to still get our license plates. FROM JANUARY. Weve left voicemails (though this is extremely difficult, and most of the time everyones voicemail box is full so we cant even leave messages), emails (we get return receipt confirmation that the emails were read, but never an actual response from the person) and even talked to a couple of people at one point which was a lucky thing I guess. Weve talked to everyone all the way from the dealership, to Momentum Toyota (who deals with Momentum Hyundai DMV issues and paperwork) all the way up to Hyundai corporate. Nothing but empty promises of callbacks and resolution of our issues. Its now the middle of August and I fear my wife will be pulled over because she still doesnt have license plates. Its becoming a legal issue and Ive addressed this concern to Momentum Hyundai/Toyota with no response (no surprise there). We were going to wait to leave a review until after we had our issues resolved, but this is just too much. We will *never* buy another car from these people and absolutely despise this dealership (and Hyundai in general) for their lack of professionalism, response to customers and overall bad business practices. Theyll be your best friend until youre ready to buy, then its a whole new ballgame - and unfortunately theyre the home team, the umpires and the rulemakers.

I was looking for a replacement vehicle and decided to contact Momentum Hyundai for information on the new Veloster. I spoke with "P" over the phone who was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. I decided to go to the dealership and test drive the vehicle. "P" met me at the door and greeted my wife and I. After explaining my needs, "P" confirmed that the Veloster was the correct choice and was even able to find for me the exact color and feature match that I was looking for. During the test drive, "P" was very knowledgeable and explained every feature and performance aspect of the Veloster. Not once did he try to sell the car to me.....he simply matched my needs to the offerings of the vehicle. When we returned to the dealership, he asked me how we should proceed and I made the decision to move forward with the application. What was shocking to me at the time was that neither "P" nor the sales manager David asked me for any information related to the application before I decided to move forward. They assisted all of my questions and allowed me to love the car without any pressure or requirement to run my credit and fill out an application. After a short negotiation, David was able to offer me a very competitive price for the vehicle and I became a proud owner of a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. My entire experience with this dealership has been like no other and I will certainly return for future purchases/services, not to mention will refer anyone looking for a world class experience to visit "P" and his team at Momentum Hyundai of Fairfield. Thank you again team.....I love my new car!
