Terrible treatment, deception, outright lying by several sales people they use to gain up on you even though this is the 4th or 5th car we bought from them with several trade-ins. Their goal is to promise a fair and good deal then nibble away until they rip you off. Costcos car buying program got involved to basically audit Wittmeier on this whole ordeal which was a lease on a new 2013 CRV-AWD the first lease we ever did. We had to go back in several times, long trips through the mountains to Chico each time from where we live, actually three different contracts were re-written by them and Honda Financial Services which are just as screwed up as Wittmeier. One staff member today, Atkins is his last name, in lease financing signing, was apologetic and sincere about their screws ups over the past month and this appears to be over because Costco came down on them about this and more details too much to go into and it still tracking the entire transaction. One other staff member at Wittmeier who we wont name was immature, sarcastic and intimidating by saying to me today that he would siphon the gas out of our new vehicle if we had of put his name in the complaint I filed here earlier today; maybe it will show up later but so far it seems to be conveniently missing. There are services that can remove negative comments or they might be able to do that theirself at Wittmeier Honda. There were two similar negative comments like mine, one six months old, the other one year old, with no positive comments. I dont claim to be a computer genius but normally a comment would have posted by now; will see what happens with this one. The employee there knows who he is, the finance lease guy who heard it in front of him today on January 25, 2013 was right there and heard it too, so it will be up to Wittmeier to figure out along with Costco if they want to give him some remedial training on the value of customers, being honest, not being part of a multiple sales team and management scheme group that conveniently downgrade the deal till they get what they want, namely much more than they promise verbally. A verbal contract is binding when it is presented in written form in a confusing and constantly re-written problematic form which they fully admit that they did. It comes across as just another clever tactic to wear you down. Wouldnt buy there again or refer anyone there unless they go way out of their way to knock the nonsense and cheating on actual costs; doubt if they are smart enough to do that, they will no doubt fail even though they obviously think they are invincible which is what other similar big companies that have come and gone over the history of America. Honda Financial was just as big of trouble makers as Wittmeier was which was a big shock after contacting them especially considering we have bought so many Hondas and even a couple of Fords and done three trade-ins with them. Honesty and fairness would keep them busy, solvent and highly profitable, the games and outright lies, bait and switch tactics and wearing you down over a month of game playing is just plain stupid. Watch out for these jokers; hopefully they will wise up and get their act together.

I Have a 2001 Honda Prelude. Home Now for 3 Years from Navy (8404 Corpsman), Veteran. I Needed Lower Timing Belt Cover and Seal, a bolt, and Timing Belt. I Went Down to Local Dealer "Ed Weinerr Honda" I Bought a Prelude Si with Cash in 1992 There for $19,500)... I Ordered Parts for 2001 Prelude, I Talked to 2 (Two) Honda Parts Employees at Parts Counter about Seal for Lower Timing Belt Cover, (I Pointed on Their Computer Screens) Both Employees Said it Comes with Part. They Can Get it Next Day. Okay. I Show Up 2 Days Later with Mechanic to Pick Up Parts at "Ed Weinerr Honda" There is No Seal with Lower Timing Belt Cover? "They Usually Do" says New (3rd) Parts Guy, "Can Have it Here tomorrow, Oh, and it is $56" Time is Money. I asked for Store Manager, his name is Neil Hildebratwurstt. After I explained that his part guys are misinforming I, assuming parts come free with other parts? Now, I Must Wait Another Day and Pay More Money? Now Mechanic wont be able to touch it for 10 Days (I am Pissed). WHERE IS CUSTOMER SERVICE????????? WHERE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF???????? I Had Them Refund Money, They Gave Check???? I Pay Cash, Anyways. Neil HildeBratwurstt (Parts Manager) Said, " Can You Do Me Favor?" I Respond. "What is That?" Neil HildeBratwurstt (Parts Manager) Said, "Never Come Back Here" I Respond, " There is No Wonder Why "Ed Weinerr Honda" Has 2.9 Stars Out of 5 Stars, According to Google Reviews." Insulting Employees at "Ed Weinerr" with the Exception of the Very Polite Cashier Lady. I Have Mechanic as My Witness, Tony NoWorry, Blessings. Is There Anything Less Than One Star? P.S. I Ordered Parts from Honda Parts Overstock (online), Received Parts Next Day, and Paid 1/3 of the Price of "Ed Weinerr Honda" was Charging. #Truth

Please make note of the salesman I worked with at Wittmeier Honda named Joe A. from the Internet sales department. Last names cannot be used. Joe made this the easiest lease transaction by far out of the 12 vehicles I have either leased or purchased since 1998 four of which have been from Wittmeier. This was my first time working with Joe A. But I hope its not the last. He even delivered the vehicle personally to my wife and I which was going the extra mile for sure. And there was no up sell or cross-selling. Just a smooth, quick and professional transaction. Your experience at a dealership will really depend on the salesman or woman you interact with. This is why I always communicate via email or directly with the Internet sales department. If you do your research first which I highly recommend on the make(s) and model(s) of the vehicle(s) you may want including professional reviews, price, mfg. to dealer incentives such as cash back, lease offers, interest rate offers as well as reviewing the dealers website for specials or reduced vehicle prices will help make your negotiations and sale or lease transaction so much easier as both parties know exactly what to talk about. Its what I do every time and my transactions go so much smoother. In closing, my wife and I leased a 2016 Honda Odyssey for 36-months with a allowance of 12,000 miles a year. It happened to be a lease special Honda corporate was offering and Wittmeier honored. We used equity in our current lease as the down payment / Cap Cost reduction as its called in leasing. Not every vehicle will have equity. Ours did. Great job Joe.

I have been going to Wittmeier Auto for over twenty years. Today, was the worst experience. I really think they did not want to work on my old Honda. I left my car with the early drop off with instructions. I had called a week before Thanksgiving and set up the appointment for the four hour service as my service light was on and it was due for a service. I received a message on my voice mail at 8 am from Steve and I called him right back (twice I tried to reach him, they could not find him) I left a detailed message with the man who answered saying, I said I want the four hour service. I never received a call back and I assumed I was getting the service. In fact, no one ever called me to tell me the car was ready. They did not do anything to it and it sat out in their parking lot all day. I called in the afternoon and they could not locate my car. I ended up missing an important appointment I had in the afternoon as a result. When I asked them what happened, he said I called you at 8. I responded that I called him right back and left a message. So stupid. He was saying it was not due for the big service, but it was very close, hence why Wittmeier scheduled me in this morning. Very frustrating. Unfortunately, they have lost my business. I have had good luck over the years working with Paula and other folks, really too bad.
