If I could give this a "0" I would!! I purchased a 2015 Toyota camry SE last year from this place. The process was relatively easy! I asked all the right questions at the time of purchase. No money down and was told that if I added features like Perma plate, an alarm system, and added GAP insurance on the vehicle that it would raise my trade in value of the vehicle. Well I did and today I felt lied to and a big idiot!! I was also told by the sales rep that helped me by the name of Luis that if I owed anything on the car at the time of the trade in that any remaining balance on the car could roll over to the new vehicle. That as I found out today was a lie as well! I would end up having to put a huge down payment of $4 to 5,000! I was also told that because I added those extra features that it depreciated the value of the car and that at 21,000 miles on the car that it would be considered a HIGH mileage car but yet when I purchased the car I was told that these Camrys never depreciates in its value and that high mileage is a car that is in the 50 to 100,000 mile area! My car is less then 11 months old! Except for one scratch on the rear bumper which was my fault when I bought this car and un noticeable this car looks brand new! EVERY single thing these people told me now turns out to be a lie!! I was looking to trade it in for an suv for my job to make more money and now it doesnt look like that is going to happen! I Originally wrote a really good review for this dealership and sales person LUIS last year when I bought the car. I was actually asked to write one but now, I am rebuttal ling my previous review! Take some advice from someone who is honest and is living the experience of doing business with this dealership: DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY TELL YOU! DO NOT BUY INTO WHAT THEY TELL YOU WOULD GET YOU APPROVED! DO NOT BUY INTO THE TRADE IN VALUE OF YOUR CAR because in the end they only want to sell you a cheap car and will eat their words when you show back up to trade it in and in the end, you will walk away still paying a ridiculous amount on your car and basically stuck with it! AND OH YEAH, before I forget, the warranty you buy into, and the FREE OIL changes and tire insurance IS A JOKE! Good luck getting your car serviced there! It would seem that they never have an opening for you to take care of your car! And if you puncture your tire? Forget about them replacing your tire!! It takes 3-5 business days for them to replace your tire! But hey, you do not need to believe in what I am telling you, just dont come onto this review place and whine like a little baby when people like myself attempt to educate you on the truth of this review so you do not get screwed in the end!

February 18, 2016 Dear Mr. Moeller, I am writing to make a complaint. Yours is an organization of very good repute. It is known for great customer service, but recently, I came across disappointment with one of your employees by the name of “Rolando”. Someone whom I hope is not representative of your company as a whole. I own a Body Shop which I do not wish to disclose and have been a loyal customer of your dealership for the past 5 years, I have time and again received great service at your dealership which is one of the main reasons I choose to use the Daly City Toyota dealership. But to my surprise, sometime last week I was at the receiving end of some very poor and unacceptable customer service at your location. I called your wholesale parts department and inquired about a certain parts and I don’t see any sense in telling you the word-to-word conversation I had with this impolite employee of your organization, but I am sure that after knowing this incident, you will definitely take some action to educate your employee on behavior with customers which will prevent the loss of your business in future. I was so dumbfounded by Rolando’s discourteous customer service phone manner; his tone of voice was abrasive and impolite. I find it hard to believe that you would knowingly employ such a rude, abrasive, and unprofessional clerk. As I am sure that sitting on such a higher position in your organization, you must be concerned about the image of your local dealership, I believe I have done the right thing by passing on this information to you. I was appalled at such behavior, and have a good mind to take my business elsewhere as he suggested. I hope you would look into the matter, and make sure such an incident is not repeated to other customer and it really portrays a bad image of your dealership... Your company has been known to provide good services, and such events tarnish the company name, so please address this issue soon. I personally feel he has no place interacting with the public when he lacks the most basic sense of propriety and kindness. Sincerely, Previous loyal customer

NO STARS I have filed a formal complaint with Toyota corp. for the type of treatment received. I made appt to visit showroom for a test drive of the advertised 2015 preowned Avalon XLE hybrid . I told sales rep I was travelling a long way from San Leandro to test drive veicle which I was planning to buy from the price offered and prior experience owning a toyota. I arrived met the manager and introduced to saleman. We went to lot and could not find vehicle! I went back into showroom and it was finally located. Both saleman and myself were shocked to discover the car had not been detailed or even washed. There were scratches and dirt on exterior and interior seat also had a major rip in fabric. I was then taken on a test drive . The windshield was so dirty we had to TURN ON WIND SHIELD WIPERS so I could see safely! I was most interested in the Blind spot monitoring system but while driving the car the WARNING check blind spot system light went on. After returning to the showroom the salesman was taken away to deal with another customer and I was left waiting 20min! I had been assured by the manager he would be "taking care of me" after the test drive. I NEVER saw him again. The sales rep came back and told me the reason the car had not been detailed was due to the back up where the new cars are detailed first then the others. This was inexcusable. Two days later he called me back to let me know it would be another two days before it was detailed and the check warning light attended to. I would NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership. Buyer BEWARE!

Very disrespectful Ast. Manager first name George. First he tells me weve got so many Prius that the entire fourth floor is loaded with them. They had EXACTLY THREE Prius IVs (two of them the exact same color silver and the other white). I HIGHLY suggest TOYOTA of MARIN (no I dont work for them) you will not regret it. I asked George, if I could test drive the silver Prius IV to help me make my decision, He says "look I dont wanna waste time, I dont want to do all that if youre not going to buy the car." I said okay fine you are busy so at least tell me the trade in value of my car? He goes "basically we dont really sell pre-owned cars, well just auction it off" So he came back with a value of $4,000. I asked him another dealership was offering more could you do something better? HE OFFERS ME $4500 and he SHOOK my hand and said "its a done deal, let me run by the appraisal dept". He comes back holding my car keys in out-stretched hands, dumps the keys in my hand, and goes "they didnt approve it...you better run to the other dealership before you hit traffic" WOW, thats not what I expected for only $500. Long story short, I felt quite insulted BUT I drove down to TOYOTA of MARIN. Not only did they beat the price of Toyota Daly City by $500, BUT they gave me the AUTOTRADER value for my trade-in car ($6500). Thanks George you saved me $3000 and they even gave me free refreshments.
