HI, I bought a 2014 Charger there at the lot and I love the car but not the customer service there at this lot. I feel what I was to them was just another commission to sell a car. I feel that when you want customers to come back to your lot to buy another rig you should keep treating them well when they come back on the lot not just when you try to sell them a car. So I have given the guys at this place many opportunities to let me know that I am appreciated as a customer before I decided to write this poor review of the customer service there at Withnells on Commercial in Salem. I feel the car salesman Jay should always do his best to remember his customers whether they buy a charger or an avenger new or used!!! I took off the withnells license plate holder on my car cause I am NOT going to give them free advertisement when they could care less about me as a customer. So this last time I talked very nicely to some gentleman and I feel at this point they were listening to sooth me thinking Hey if we listen to her she will shut up. I did say I hope to hear back from you and did I hear back from them in this last week and I gave them the whole week, the answer is NO!!! I have had emails asking about the service there I sent them back multiple emails stating the poor service I have had w/ them never heard anything back. So I am just a number to the dealership not a person or a customer who they care about. Well maybe they will care now that I am writing the review when I have given them many opportunities to make me feel appreciated there at the lot. I like Dodge but not this dealership. It is sad that you have to yell and get mad to get some kind of customer service but that is the only time one gets the customer service from them is when one gets mad!!! IF you want to feel like a person the people care about I wouldnt recommend going here. This is my experience as a customer who just bought a beautiful car that I love, just not this dealership!!! I have explained to them about how crappy their customer service is there and still never hear back and this last time one guy asked me how can we accommodate you. Well you should have that figured out before asking me and then when I say, I dont know how do you feel you should compensate me they give me no answer and then I never hear from them for an answer 2 weeks later, REALLY????? Then if you arent going to act on it please dont ask. As I am seeing you dont care about me as a customer just another number to selling a car is all!!!! I will NOT recommend this place for their customer service as it is POOR!!!!!! And I will say we are a dodge family here and when we need to purchase another dodge truck of some sort it will not be w/ them!!!! Thank you for your great customer service or LACK of..... If I hear one more I am sorry and no action that shows how Withnells really does appreciate their customers or the real aspect is how they DONT appreciate their customers.

I bought a new Ram 2500 HD Turbo Diesel from Withnell. First of all I got a great deal, they beat all of Dodge dealers I shopped by several hundred dollars. Second, the owner of the dealership came down from his office and shook my hand and thanked me for buying from them personally. That may not sound like a big deal but it was to me, I have bought many new cars and have never had an owner make an effort like that in the past. The service department is also first class, they have made every effort to educate me since I have never had a diesel before ( These guys are experts )they also pointed me in the right direction as to where to get things I wanted to add. I recently had an issue with the rear window and went down to the dealership late on a Friday thinking I would have to drop it off and get it next week, they pulled my truck in and made every effort to fix it on the spot. They did not have a part so they fixed it temporarily so I could finish a job I was working on, I then dropped it off on Sunday. Monday they received the part and fixed it. I had my truck back that afternoon. I am extremely happy with this dealer and will buy from them again in the future.. Michael Carter, Salem Oregon

Bought a new Challenger, the salesman Adam was fantastic to work with the whole sales process was very pleasant. A 4 star process! Could have been 5 but my trade in price hurt a little :) I called to schedule an appointment for my first service and asked if they provided a shuttle ride to work. The gentleman on the phone said they do. They also do not require an appointment which is nice. I showed up the next morning at 7:30 and to my surprise the service writer said he could call me a cab or sell me a rental car. That must be what they consider a shuttle!? The oil change cost me $100, it DIDNT include a shuttle, they DIDNT wash or vacuum my car and I left feeling quite ordinary having just spent over $40,000 on a new car. To me this is unacceptable . The service department in NO way matches the sales department. My wife has a 160k miles on her 2004 Yukon we have serviced at Power Buick/GMC we didnt purchase it from there and they treat us like gold. A 60 dollar oil change included a wash/vacuum and FREE shuttle service. Ill be finding a new dealer to service my Challenger.

In the 40 odd years that I have serviced our automobiles, I have never been treated so well, and my automobile serviced beyond compare! 1. - My Ram truck was serviced with honesty - in an old Oregon style - "my word is my promise". They went above the call of duty - and they did 3 more things that I did not know the truck needed, (all on warranty) and they still had my truck done within the estimated time! Great Job & Honesty! - I will be servicing all three of my vehicles with them in the future! 2. - The service man treated me like I was family... After turning my keys over - I went to their coffee house style waiting room with comfortable padded chairs - cable TV - Internet connections and complimentry beverages. 3. - The Withnell Dodge Family, truly deserves a 10 star rating... I have been to other so-called 5 star car service/sales. They rate themselves as 5 stars - Hummmmm - how can they in comparison to Withnell? I know this sounds too good to be true... But my daddy taught me never to lie, and always tell the truth - of which this is all TRUE.

We went here to look for a used (but fairly new) vehicle. They had a decent selection, and we called ahead. The salesperson was friendly and although it felt like he was trying to not be pushy, it still did feel like he was saying what he thought we wanted to hear. With that said, it was convenient to try out the car. We didnt do a test drive (although it was offered), but we did hop back and forth between two vehicles, sitting in all the seats, for at least 20 minutes. Although we were interested in purchasing one of the vehicles, they were priced a few thousand dollars than many of the other car lots with 10k-20k miles fewer at other dealers. Maybe they are willing to barter down prices more at this location, but I just didnt even want to bother with a place that started with high prices like that. It didnt feel honest to me, and the last thing I want to think about at a used car place is whether or not theyre being honest with me. If youre shopping for used cars, my research showed that driving up to Portland (if thats an option) could be well-worth it.
