This dealership is as sleazy as they come. Id had service done on a vehicle last year and was happy with their service department, but the sales guys lied straight to my face when I went recently to look at a new car! Monte G. Riddle, Google him; hes the sales guy that I spoke with first. Schmoozed the whole time, showed me cars that were the opposite of what I was interested in because they were "bad ass" or "sexy". I go on a test drive with him, and afterward he takes my picture with the car. Cheesy, but whatever. He had been nice so far and I didnt want to be rude. Anyway, we go to a desk inside to talk about the car. I tell him I am *not buying a car today*, but that Id like a printout of information on it. He offers to give me an estimate of how much Id pay per month if I used their financing, says its something everyone does. Im a first-time car buyer, so I didnt know any different. I said sure, but ONLY IF ITS A SOFT INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT. I dont want to buy a car today, this better not hurt my credit! He said it was a soft inquiry, and that it would not show up on my credit report, no problem. Sure enough, the damn credit check showed up on my report as a hard inquiry! Monte Riddle LIED TO MY FACE. I called to speak to the manager once I saw my report, Ken. He said oops, well talk to Monte and try to correct this. He didnt know how Monte didnt know this, since they do it all the time when trying to sell a car. I told him that I wasnt trying to buy a car, and he says they often do it anyway to change peoples minds. Really?? A week goes by, and I call again. Ken says hes still working on it, hell give me a call back later that day. Here I am, another week passed, STILL no call from Ken. Another liar! I will NEVER buy a car from Keifer, and I will NEVER get service there again. Do not trust them, especially not Monte G. Riddle or Ken!

Im only 19 and had never bought a car from a dealership before. I went in with my younger sister for a promotion they were having and really didnt expect to by a car and let Chris Nelson know that from the beginning. He didnt push me to buy a car or make me feel uncomfortable at all, in fact he was really great making us laugh and making jokes about what sales men are usually like. But when they went to check if I had won anything they needed some information from me. I told him to go ahead and run my credit because in a couple months I was planning on buying a car. He asked if I wanted to look to see if there was anything I liked. I said sure why not to get a feel of what I might like and how much Id need as a down payment. I ended up really liking the experience and told him id like to buy a car but i dont have a down payment right now so I couldnt. Chris said he might be able to still get me in a car so then i let him know that i could not do more than a $10,000 car. I told him i really just wanted something affordable, economical and had 4 doors. and manual would be nice. He got me all of those things right at $10,000. I am so glad i came here, he didnt try to sell me any extra stuff, he knew i was young and didnt know much about the car buying experience and was really honest. I feel really lucky that I got Chris because they had some travelling sales men there for the promotion they had going on and i could hear them being very pushy. All of the regular sales men for that dealership were great, i think you just have to be careful when talking to the travelling salesmen. I have already referred people i know to kiefer Nissan, it was just a great experience.

Both Peter Bohl, our Sales Person and Ken Nelson, the financial manager were helpful and went out of their way to assist us with our new Rogue. Peter had talked with Ken, my husband on the phone and knew we had a silver or grey Altima we were going to trade, he made a point of having us test drive a grey or silver Rogue. He also made a point to come in on his day off to meet us in Corvallis to show us the car. When it was time to leave, he made sure the rental vehicle we had was a Rogue of the same year we had. He mentioned he had gone over to the other lot to pick up a rental that had just come off the truck. He went above and beyond and is an excellent part of your team. Ken Nelson also made himself invaluable when he offered to receive the package I ordered while transacting the Rogue to place two kayak racks on our new Rogue. Since we were able to drive home the rental Rogue, it gave us a wonderful experience in how our new car will be when we get home from New Hampshire on the 12th of May to pick it up. My husband and I believe all things work toward the good that follow Christ. This transaction was very smooth, professional and pleasant. Thanks team Kiefer Nissan Corvallis. Also thanks to the "guy in the corner" for giving me a pair of scissors to trim the elbow pad I had, it was very uncomfortable and you helped me a lot to feel at ease through the rest of the time we were there.

maybe this is a little late, but my very first car buying experience was at this place 2 years ago. i was in a bad situation where my credit was not great, and didnt have a huge down payment. and i needed a car! they totally took advantage of me! they gave me 2 options one a doable option and one that i felt like was a tease. i went with the affordable option a 2005 dodge neon. they set me up with a company who charged me 23% interest! the car wasnt even detailed and when i asked when it wasnt cleaned the girl selling me the car told me "we are already loosing money on this car so its not worth it" the car broke down 3 times in the first month, after the 3rd time i was ready to just drop it off. ye they eventually fixed it at no cost to me. but while i was debating on just leaving it they offered to find me something else. the options they gave me were a slap in the face a car older with at least 50k more miles than the car i had bought originally. they promised to clean the dodge and make it "shiny and pretty" which should have been done in the first place. they never did that. i will never go back to this place i dont recommend it to anyone. they sold me a car for twice the KBB value. and told me they lost money. if u want a good experience go to Power Honda of Albany. i finally traded n the neon they sold me and bought a new car from power with a wonderful experience!
