Went to checkout and only self checkout was open. When I asked the lady in charge of self checkout if there were any registers open she said no. So I left my basket there and proceeded to the exit. Next the lady said "oh is that beer in your cart". I said yes and she said I can help you over here. So I went ahead and made my purchase. I refuse to use self checkout I dont care how long I have to wait in line for a cashier to collect my money. If self checkout is my only option I will not be making a purchase. This is at any establishment! My reasoning behind this is that "I DO NOT WORK THERE " I refuse to get in a line to self checkout behind people that cant figure out how to use the register. In defense of these people, it is not their job to ring up groceries. I come from a long line of Grocers and customer service was always a priority. Self checkout is the opposite of customer service.

Ill give it this...the parking here is much better than some of the other San Diego Targets. In the world of Targets, youve got the nice fancy "Tarjeh," with clean baskets, Starbucks, the works; then middle of the road Target which gets the job done, has what you need and doesnt gross you out; then Targhetto which is basically a K-mart with the wrong logo. Well call the Broadway location here a solid Target. No frills, but at least its next to a Michaels and walking distance from a Starbucks.

This Target is usually pretty clean inside and out. You still have careless shoppers that leave empty shoe boxes on the floor, frozen foods in the checkout line candy section, clothing on the floor, etc. Employees are helpful and somehow put up with all the Spanish speaking shoppers. I admire the employees. I couldnt do their job. The store is well stocked and even has a good grocery section. Overall, I prefer this place over Wal-Mart.

Bought once and returned numurace times,the Coleman guestrest air mattress 18 inch. Today returning yet another one,noticed one end had been taped up. With only one left on the shelf I really had no choice but to get it. Big mistake!!! Not only had it been used and put back on the shelf there was dried blood and stains on it not to mention a hole in the mattress!! Come on really!!! Never again target in Chula Vista!!!

The dollar to three dollar section was quite empty and messy.. Gave the appearance the store may be closing.. This is my target and I typically find no fault. The smell of caramel corn is overpowering.. Regular popcorn smelled tempting enough. I dont smell that anymore. Found all items needed plus a housewarming gift... Line wasnt long, cashier helpful.. Red card and cartwheel used. I love tarjet.

Not the target we grew up with.i worked door security at different targets in San diego.first job.everyone was nice.target had there own food service.great .sports arena target.many day n hours.employees were special.now target sucks.over priced also.national city target closed after 35 years.i applied recently at Target and they Wouldnt hire me.all the time I put on. Assholes

Cashier wa s not helpful. Asked about the sale prices that were on rack with 30% off & said we had to download app. Did not offer to help or show us what app to download . I said you should put on sigh about app. He didnt respond. Other stores tell you about the sales & help you download their apps. I will not be shopping at Target again.

Go to target go to get a pep pizza pay for it and sit since they are making it. As Im sitting there with a hungry kid I notice the hot area now has a pep pizza. Crappy service that they couldnt even tell me my pizza was done and someone could have taken it.

THE worst Target. This store is always a complete mess. There are employees everywhere,yet none of them can pick up the piles of clothes,shoes,and other merchandise scattered all over the store. If you cant find the size youre looking for,check the floor!

Reasonable prices but....there is a security guard and the area isnt the nicest. I had trouble finding parking and most people speak Spanish. It is a target so not really finding a different selection at others but its cheap and they had what I needed.

Dont come here alot but the few times I did the last at the register offered me a target card and told me that they dont do hard inquiries on your credit but she lied, for a hard inquiry and my score went down and still didnt he approved. Nice

This target is always a mess. Everytime I have been to this location there is merchandise all over the floors and it never looks clean. This is first target Ive never really enjoyed being at and I try to avoid going to if I dont have to.

I had an return and the lady(2 different ladies)was/were less than friendly. They made me feel uncomfortable. I shop there all the time but I dont think I will from now on. I will make the drive to a different location or a walmart.

Great store. Employees are helpful. Theres a great chance of finding items that appear in the weekly ad. Prices are pretty good too. The only bad thing about this store is that it can get pretty crowded.
