Updated Dec, 18th 2014: Shopping during the holidays is always stressful and being a guy standing in the womens department in my favorite store, Nordstrom, is cause for even more stress! Thankfully Katie B. recognized my approaching panic and offered her assistance with more patience than most known saints! Not knowing exactly what I was looking for I am sure I sounded like quite an idiot although Katie patiently asked some very helpful questions that allowed her to present me with some options that I would never have found even if I was still standing there looking helplessly around! When I initially got into sales my very boss took me to the Galleria and bought me my first tie at Nordstrum and for the last 26 years I have come back to this store faithfully for everything; Katie proved once again today that my choice in shopping is spot on! Nordstrum has a shinning star in Katie B. and still a life long faithful customer in Mike theCarGuy!

A Once-Great Store Goes to the Dogs! I used to shop at the Nordstroms in Glendale years ago and always loved their goods and services. I recently went to the store in Riverside, saw a shirt I loved, and bought it (despite the $300 price tag). Their tailor fitted it for me while I had it on... then he wound up taking it in too much and I couldnt wear it. They had no other such shirts in stock, so they ordered another. Same story - I went back, was measured (by a different Nordstroms tailor this time) -- and he made one sleeve much shorter than the other! I then told the Manager I wanted a refund, which he gave me. The next day, while examining the receipts, I realized that Nordstroms had KEPT the tailoring fee. I called and demanded a refund of that too, which I got. Nordstroms? Never again! -- Not even for socks!

On a normal day at the mall, I usually go to the third floor and order a delicious soup du jour. After getting my food, I usually browse through Nordstrom and I am always greeted with a friendly welcome by at least one associate. I always feel welcome when in Nordstrom and even though I do not purchase much of their product, it is always a nice and pleasant experience. The store is always neat and orderly and I havent ever seen an item in the wrong place. 10/10 for me

I have shopped here for years and is my go to for mens business. However, they have totally reduced all of the clothing and just have dress pants thrown on a shelf. There was no selection or customer service. It looked like a Nordstrom Rack or Macys.
