I asked for a Sears technician and got some contractor. No one let us know when our appointment was scheduled until a guy showed up. Very unprofessional. I have been a Sears customer since 1977 and have only had one bad experience before this. My freezer has been broken for six months. It has been rebuilt from the inside out. I have had 4 major food losses. I am tired off waking up to a flooded floor because it decided to defrost. When it isnt defrosting it runs 24/7. Will Sears reimburse my outrageous power bill? NO! NOW ONCE AGAIN, I got a call last night to inform me that an appointment is scheduled for today. So I get to cancel my day. Sears technician are great and hopefully it will a real Sears technician today. Enough is enough life up to the contract and get me a freezer that works. I am very disappointed. I am not surprised stores are closing because if this is the service you get because of "company policy" they dont deserve my money. The employees are are wonderful and are trying to do their jobs but they cant. It isnt fair to them or the loyal customers. Boo Sears!

I spent $130 at the Sears portrait studio on a CD that held all our pictures from the session. I brought the CD into Rite-Aid to print some of the pictures and only a few out of 79 popped up, all the others said "unavailable." I then took the CD into Walgreens and Costco where it did the same thing. I took the CD back to Sears they told me sometimes they get bad CDs and that they would just re-burn it and the problem will be solved. I got the new CD and brought it to Costco where now even more pictures are stating "unavailable." I called them and told them the new CD didnt work and made me loose even more pictures. They told me they will not refund me my $130 and that they would only give me $25 off my next visit! Even during the shot we were rushed through it after waiting an hour longer than our appointment time. I have never been so unhappy with a place. They will take your money any way possible. I have called the manager multiple times and she is yet to return any of my calls.

I spent $400 dollars on tires and an aliment and a test on my battery. Apparently my battery failed the test? I have had my car for a year and a half and never had a problem. By failed test I thought a weak charge but AFTER I payed and signed the paperwork I went to leave and, surprise, my car did not start!!! I was given shoulder shrugs and I dont know what you want me to do about it. I wanted my car to start like it did before I brought it to SEARS. It was either buy a battery, $90, or jump my car and leave. I had my car jumped and left, I will not spend another dime at Sears. When I called back the next day I was told," I have heard your story six time we could put the battery on a Sears credit card...." I told him no way I want you to fix the problem and his response was I have other customers. Click! Save yourself the headaches and go anywhere else. You are only a valued customer until you pay. DONT DO IT!!!

I used to love Sears for their customer service. But that was a long time ago and things have really changed. I purchased a Kenmore Fridge from them and have had the ice maker parts replaced 4 separate times in the first year. They wont honor the lemon law because the part can be replaced. Never mind that each of the 4 replacements has the same problem. Each person you talk to has a different story to tell but none are helpful. I have spent 15 days at home waiting for parts or repair and over 30 hours on the phone. And I still have a broken fridge that with a repair date that got delayed again.

Never have I been greeted with ruder service. They described my best friend as drunk and refused to make sure to find him so my party could all leave together. They all but pushed us from the store with no warning that they were closing. And then were unwilling to provide information of what was going on. We were visiting this mall and this Sears for the first time and needless to say, I will not be back.

I bought a lawnmower that has no drain plug for the engine and the oil filler is recessed about 4 inches under the engine cover. The picture on the briggs and Stratton manual does not match this engine. If I turn it upside-down to drain the oil it will run onto the bottom side of the cover creating one hell a mess. The model # is 247.374302.

Really poor customer services and lack of knowledge! Went in to shop around for some air tools for $13.99 but decide to wait for the weekend sales so went back that following weekends to find out sale price went up to $29.99 instead of going down! Boy should of bought it at regular price at $13.99. Funny how the sale system work now days...

Open fewer hours these days, cutting back staff, apparently. Chico store pretty quiet, and staff friendly for the most part. In attempting to get jewelry repaired on extended warranty, first staff person impolite and unhelpful over the phone. Clerk in store was very accomodating, however, and my problem was resolved nicely.

Sears has gone the way of Kmart since they bought them out, they are missing products and dont even have some basic tools and sears used to be known for there Craftsman tools, now all they have is appliances and clothes

Ordered a Fathers Day present online for in-store pickup, which was simple, and picking it up was even easier, there is a order pickup parking only area, and were helped immediately.
