The two stars are for the way the store looks , it really is looking very nice and in all honesty I would if given 4 up until I got to check out. I had no trouble with lines but when I paid by check ( my preferred choice) the young man put in info and then put in my dl # I happened to notice he put it in wrong and he had to call for help, anyway some guy came over put in correct info and then said " we cant except check" when I asked why he said " not my problem" .... I paid by cc and left and went straight to my bank as I knew there was " no problem" and yes the bank couldnt understand why. What made this trip to Target unpleasant were the staff, there lack of training and obviously rude answers makee think twice before going into store. Again with brick and mortar stores having trouble these days customer service is something they need to look at

I am a Target-frequenter (my brother is in management for the corporation) so I find myself shopping at Target stores quite frequently. This is one of the nicer Targets in the area with ample parking, a good standard discount retail store selection, and a decent grocery selection to boot. I stop here probably 3-4 times per month to grab something for home or pick-up small things for dinner. I am docking one star because the wait at the checkout is predictably long at busy hours - think a minimum of 10-15 minutes for a cashier and 5-10 minutes for self-checkout. This is so predictable that is should be remedied by staffing, but in the 2.5 years Ive been frequenting the store it hasnt gotten any better.

Check out lines can get very long without an express lane, and the store can be very difficult to navigate when they are restocking around 8 each night. The employees are also very unlikely to be helpful. What was a simple inquiry for string turned into a half hour long hunt passed off between several employees who didnt know what string was (and asked what its used for) until one employee spent the last fifteen minutes starting at a shelf, wondering where it could have gone. If you know what you want, and where it is, its a great place to shop. Just avoid having to ask anyone for help.

Large Target in a better-than-average location, once you find it. I live in San Mateo (as of this writing anyway) and the Bridgepointe Target is slow and annoying to get into, to park, to check out, to leave, et cetera. So I look for opportunities on the way back from Palo Alto to stop at this Target, when its Target time every month or two. Somewhat confusingly organized but whatever, only somewhat. Its not like any of the mid-Peninsula Targets are WELL organized. Recommended.

It is the first Target that would make you think youre at Walmart. The Target was crowded, on a Tuesday and the gentleman at the cash register seemed tired and didnt greet or say much I greeted him instead to break the social awkward moment. The place seed ransacked by a football team very unorganized. . . :-(

I am amazed reading the reviews others have written, are we all talking about the same place!? I find this store is always in disarray and employees who either cant speak English or dont have a clue about any clue as to where products might be. I find shopping here exhausting and frustrating.

Great electronics and entertainment section. The guys there really know what theyre talking about, and theyre fun to be around too. I see lots of smiles and hear lots of jokes everytime I go there, and I also receive A+ service from these guys too. Definitely one of my favorite stores.

This target is currently having issues with criminal behavior as I have had personal experience with recently. If you frequent this location be careful how you carry your belongings as thieves are currently targeting women whos purses are not latched shut.

Tired to return an item purchased from another Target location but did not have the item there and had a hard time getting a refund. They wanted me to provide the receipt so I had to go all the way home to look for it. What a hassle!

This Target is old and out of stock of alot of items. They have recently made nice improvements but unless they can keep their shelves stocked, I will continue to avoid this place in favor of other newer and bigger Target stores.

This Target has a pretty good grocery selection, far superior to the Mountain View location, as well as the standard Target fare. It is currently undergoing renovations, so itll be even nicer when they are completed!

The new Target Cafe is awesome. The Pizza Hut in here has new toppings like chicken and bacon. Make your own pizza for $6. It tasted amazing, especially the toasted crust.

Men Not Welcome. Very small selection of mens clothes. Out of 6 aisles of shoes there is only 1/4 of 1 aisle of mens shoes. Ill be using Amazon from now on.
