Unfortunately my mother in law bought a vehicle from R&R. She got a Volvo from them a little over a year ago. That thing has been nothing but problematic since 2 weeks after we got it home. My mother in law is elderly and disabled, on a fixed income but takes care of several children during the day and needs a safe and reliable vehicle to use - they were told this, and they assured us we were in great hands. They asked us to make a review after the experience of purchase, as the purchase went well and they were friendly. They did misrepresent that the vehicle had a warranty. They did not disclose that it did NOT have a warranty until we had paid them the down payment money the day before, and it was the very last paper signed. 3 weeks in - it wouldnt start. It needed a repair in excess of $500 - mind you, the first payment on the car wasnt even DUE yet. So with the down payment and payments considered, thats ridiculous. HOWEVER, I will say that R&R did reimburse my mother in law for this repair after the fact. Since we brought the car home, there have been one problem after another. SO their triple check guarantee? No.. theyre really just trying to band aid things to get you into the car. After it was home, the glue they put on the trim was beginning to come off and the trim was lifting, among other cosmetic quick fixes - but cosmetic as this is, we moved forward and glued it back down (it was obvious this is what was done). But not cosmetic; The car has dumped quarts and quarts of oil since we got it.. she was continuously having to replace oil lost. It has some sort of electrical short to one of the headlights causing it to continually blow the bulb (really, in a year weve bought 4 bulbs)... and sometimes it just shorts out and doesnt work, but then will work again later, then the bulb will blow. Now, the whole engine is shot. On a car she has had for 1 year 3 months. This isnt wear and tear from her driving, she barely drives anywhere other than to pick kids up from school and drop them off, and to Dr. appts. She has put well under 10k miles on it since she got it. She doesnt drive it hard and she makes sure the car is taken care of. She doesnt trust the car to go out of town, so will only go on short errands around town. Which is good, since the car no longer runs at all and had to be towed home and a ride arranged to transport her and 3 children home. Unfortunately, our thinking of Volvo as a sound and reliable vehicle ended up being a difficult thing - no one will work on them.. theyre difficult as a "foreign" car... this part is not the fault of R&R; however, their team of repair agents only bandaid fixed things.. and after we got it home we realized this car sat for 2 years before we purchased it. So here she is, with months of payments remaining - and no car. The engine is shot, and therefore she wont be able to fix it. No way to get a car, cannot afford another down payment on a car.. she owes like $2400 and several months of payments on this car, that doesnt drive and she can do nothing with. I make this post because they always ask you to make a great review, sometimes with incentives, after purchasing a car.. usually people are quite happy to do so as they have been happy with their experience. So were we for a couple of weeks; its been a nightmare since then. Buyer Beware... there are many other dealerships that will give credit and warranties and stand behind their vehicles - R&R is not your only choice.

After about a week, maybe 2 of having the vehicle we purchased we were told that our agreed and signed upon deal with the bank that was financing the vehicle pulled out and they found another bank to take over, but it would be $80 more a month putting an already high payment up to $552 per month with 20% interest. I guess a deal isnt a deal anymore. I do not think we will keep the car, unfortunately. The GF is quite distraught over it. It sucks. because it is a nice vehicle and the initial experience was pleasant, but now after being paranoid for 2 weeks about losing the vehicle...we basically dont have a choice but to give it back. So I guess buyer beware or w.e... Old review: *****JJae made the impossible possible and got me and my gf a vehicle. She was. Great and drives a hard bargain but she will get you a car before leaving the lot.

We found a car we liked on the internet and called Fernando. He was extremely helpful, invited us out to look at the car. Saw it, loved it, bought it. That simple. They were prepared, they knew what we needed to bring in and told us so we also were prepared. It took longer to print out our paperwork than it did to check the car and buy it! Two issues with the car will be resolved on Monday by their service dept. We could not be happier. If your credit is less than stellar, this is the place to go. Both Fernando the salesman and Victor (his boss) were very helpful, treated us with respect as fellow humans. We will definitely go there again after we enjoy the heck out of this car for a few years!

Octavio.......wow.....let me tell you about this guy. Never have I ever been treated so curteously and professionally while also making it feel like Ive known this guy all my life. To be honest, if I didnt know any better I would of thought I was just visiting a long time friend. He got me approved in minutes and had a fee options for me to choose from keeping in mind my desired payment/down payment amount. Dude rocks and got me in and out in a hour with a brand new whip at a killer price. Never thought Id be driving anything newer than a 2010 with only 3k to put down. Driving a 2015! Thank you so much! This dude is a valuable asset to your company for sure!

My boyfriend and I walked onto the R&R dealership in Chico with no intention whatsoever to buy a car until we were approached by a dealer named Octavio. That day we got to look at a 2013 Chrysler S but little did we know we would be buying a 2016 Chrysler 300 C later on thanks to Octavio. Im a first time car buyer so he was very honest and to the point. Im grateful for his kindness, communication & helpfulness. Hes not just a salesman, hes a family man & a human being. Id recommend him to anyone whos looking to buy a car because hell go above and beyond to not only get you a good deal but to get you exactly what you want. :)

Found a nice car for the wife and thought wed give it a shot. Our credit is poor at best, didnt have a lot of cash, and had a tight budget to work with. Fernando was awesome, dickering back and forth, no waiting over and over for counter offers and attempts to squeeze more blood from the rock. Vic, the finance guy was easy to work with too, just sign here here here etc with lots of smiles. Really was as simple as I want this car, Ill give you x amount down and I need my payment to be xxx a month. They made it happen and the wife is smiling big for valentines day.
