*I had to edit my review. Also all of their 5 star reviews are fake, they make people review them at the dealership after they buy the car. The check engine light came on the day after I drove off the lot. Took it to a mechanic so they could run the test, and it showed that a code had been manually cleared prior to me purchasing the car. The mechanic who also owns a dealership also informed me that legally, a car cannot be sold when it cant pass emissions, and this is a problem CB Credit King should have taken care of before selling me the vehicle. When I went to the dealership to pick up my tags and told them this, they insisted that there was nothing they could and recommended me to a mechanic. I shouldnt have to pay for a problem that should have been fixed before being sold, period. I had to replace the power steering pump the day after I bought the car as well. You can tell by the way the owner responded to my review that you should not shop here. Look at his comment it basically says ( sorry youre having problems with the car we sold you less than 24 Hours later) The cost of the car should not matter youre running a business, especially when you clear codes from the cars cpu illegally. The only thing I asked them to fix is the erg valve so my car will pass emissions. Im not interested in a sketchy mechanic they keep trying to send me to and Ill still have to pay out of pocket after paying 400 for a new power steering pump. Saying there is nothing you can do but buy the car back is a bunch of bs. These guys have to be on drugs if they think their response to my issue was just. So you can say the car was only 1900 (we paid more than that) a cougar in perfect condition goes for 1900, you sold me one for over 2000 and it had serious problems the next day. Offering to fix it at cost is a slap in the face. Take the cost out of what I paid for the car genius. Ive been advised by my mechanic to file a lawsuit because it would be an easy case to win with no lawyer based on the car being sold to us illegally. At the end of the day this is a sketchy dealership with sketchy people working there selling sketchy cars. Stay away.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!! I have never written a complaint/review in regards to a business prior to my visit to CB King auto. Their dishonesty and rude demeanor deserves this one star rating. I had two interactions with the owner of the dealership and they were both unprofessional and also deceitful. I saw a car online and decided to come to take a look in person. When I got there the vehicle was not as described online and also had damages that were not listed on the description. When asked about the damages one of the employees went to the back and brought out a Carfax to show us that the vehicle sustained A rear end damage that was fixed. When looking closely at the vehicle, we noticed that the left fender, front bumper and other nearby parts have been replaced with aftermarket parts. The fender did not align with the door as it did originally, there is an uneven gap created by the non-original part. The seat had burn marks and animal hair. Also some ticking noise coming from the engine. The paint on the aftermarket part did not to me look like it was professionally done.He was asking $9,995 (around the book value ) for this car. When asked about these damages he became very defensive and rude. My second interaction with the owner is over the phone asking about the same vehicle, again he became very defensive, rude and eventually hung the phone up on me twice. When I called them back to let them know I was leaving a review online, he threatened to sue me if I did. This is not how you treat your customers. this is not how you gain the trust and respect of the community. Dishonesty will not get you far in this business, you should let your customers know what kind of vehicle you are selling to them.

*I had to edit my original post when my check engine light came on the day after I purchased the car. I bought a car from this lot in January. The check engine light came on while test driving the car. Ken said that it just needed to be reset because they had just gotten an oil change, and he took it to a shop up the street to reset it. I also noticed a smell coming from the exhaust, but Ken assured me he didnt smell anything, and that it too was probably related to the recent oil change. I ended up buying the car and purchasing a $1900 warranty. The day after I bought the car, check engine light came back on. Two weeks later, there was ZERO oil in the car. Within 30 days the Turbo failed. Even with the warranty, I shelled out $490 for the repair (which cost over $3000 total). There is always a risk with buying a used car, especially when you have credit challenges and I accept that. But, I had hoped my questions would be met with honesty and I find it hard to believe that they didnt know about the oil leak when I purchased the car, because that is what caused the Turbo to fail, and the car had been at the lot for 5 months. Curt did try to work with me on the check engine light, and luckily it was at his insistence that I purchased the warranty, but I still feel taken advantage of dropping $490 for repairs within 30 days of purchase.

Today I went to CB credit king in search of a replacement car for my aging van. I called in advance and a gentleman named J.R. was more then helpful, answering all my questions and even tolerating my indecision with the utmost respect and speed. in most cases I didnt wait much longer then 15 min. he helped me get him the information I would need so the visit would go faster. He then set me an appointment and let me know he would not be there but set me up to talk to Craig. When I got to the lot they were prompt to greet me and every one on the lot were great. they had my file and we set right to work. they had several options for me and had my loan set for me in lighting speed. I have bought over 30 cars in my life and have yet to get better service. Because of insurance issues I was unable at this time to take advantage of the fact that Craig worked very hard to get us into a car. Even going so far as to offer me the best he could on my aging van . I honestly regret my in ability to take him up on all his and his teams work. But in a couple months when I can get more down I am going to see Craig and his team for my next car. They have that "RIGHT" feel and I cant wait to see them again. Wynn
