Hi All! We purchased 2014 Toyota Corolla L/LE from Hertz Beaverton THROUGH THE HELP OF DENNIS AND JASON.They are really amazing people.Very helpful. If you dont want any hassle at all...go and give them a call and they will assist you all the way. "LOOK FOR DENNIS." You can get the car the same day and drive it home just like we did. :) Its all yours after everything has been approved. They will provide drive away permits so you dont have to pay for $10 each/day for the travel pass for your new car.The good news is they will take care of you until you receive the actual plate.Actual plate will be delivered to you at your door step. We live in a country side and they traveled all the way to make sure we got the actual plate. Isnt that amazing? IT SAVES YOU, TIME, GAS, MONEY AND EFFORT to go to the licensing office for you to get this pass.PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP AND SECURE THE DRIVE AWAY PASS ..For you to get the actual plate it is usually a month.Thats a lot of savings on your end if you go for hertz coz all the paper works and everything you need is set for you. So GO for Dennis coz he is very honest..They are perfect team of his Manager, Jason. But boy....we had a long journey....why??? If you are like us, who wants to save money but wanted the latest, dependable and reliable car..YOU REALLY HAVE TO BE DETERMINED, PATIENT and RESOURCEFUL in looking for cars in different places. It took us several weeks or months to look for a car.We made a lot of trips and research in person and on the net. Spent sooo much time. WAS TIRING BUT ALL WORTH IT. It was 2 months maybe that weve been looking for a good buy. But if you are a buyer, who would invest, on a car that you dont trust? At first, we want to go for a cheap car but we went car shopping from the local car shops to the dealership. From Longview, Vancouver,Portland and Beaverton. We did not just visit the car shops but we did the research, day and night to make sure we will get a good buy. Good buy as we define, not expensive car, reliable and dependable car that we dont have to pay for the outrageous interest because it is too old. STRESS NO MORE with Hertz Beaverton because once you are preapprove, just bring the letter with you and they will EVEN GIVE YOU A BETTER DEAL. We encourage everyone to give it a try... to experience first hand, and to know it your self what we are sharing and why we are sharing. We are writing this because WE WANT YOU TO SAVE TIME, MONEY, GAS AND EFFORT.WE want your car hunting to end just like any fairytale story, to end in a happily ever after through your prince charming, DENNIS of HERTZ BEAVERTON. So many things to consider we know... DEALER? vs OWNER? -Theres a big difference. Theres a BIG RISKS involve too. But Dennis will provide you the car fax history. BUDGET?- This play a big role in making a decision. GAS SAVER? DEFINITELY. CAR PAYMENT? SURE IT IS. LOW CAR INSURANCE? Hertz provide VIN # so you can ask your agent before you decide to pick which car to consider.Dennis is very accommodating and patient. Will even serve you coffee if you want to.Will give you enough time to really think , weigh things out before you even decide. NO PRESSURE at all. Thanks Dennis for everything! To Jason, thank you for being straight forward and transparent. Kuddos to Hertz Beaverton, you both have good employees to keep!

Worst car buying experience ever. They never sent the plates to the right address. They requested a power of attorney to send the plates to the address we have originally provided. We sent a signed power of attorney to them. They confirmed they received it and then, they lose it. They waited full 3 weeks to let me know they needed a new power of attorney, even though I have been calling them twice every week to check and see if they needed anything else from our side. This horror story started back in February, 2017. We found online a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that we liked and we went to Hertz Car Sales from Beaverton to see and drive the car. The car was fine. We were planning to move and we both (My wife and I), told Jason (the manager) when we were signing the paperwork, that EVERYTHING (registration, plates, other papers related to this car) needed to be sent to a new address in Portland, OR and he said, they will take care of that. We received our registration card on that address but never the plates. I called them and talked to Jason again and asked him for the plates and turns out they were sent to the address we asked NOT TO SEND THEM. He said, this is the way the DMV works. We trusted on their word and they lied to us. They will tell anything you want to hear to sale a car. He asked us for a power of attorney, because right now, we are out of the state and they need it to process the plates in our behalf and send them to the address we asked from the beginning. We signed and sent the power of attorney and I called and talked to Jason again to make sure they got it and “according to him”, they received it. I have been calling them every week because my temporary plate already expired and I wanted to make sure things will work out this time. Today (June 6, 2017), I called again and talked to someone else because Jason was off, and his words were “Unfortunately, the power of attorney you guys sent us got misplaced and we need you to send us another power of attorney”. I called them every week since I sent the power of attorney and they waited 3 weeks to let me know, it got misplaced. I have bought other cars in the past from other car dealers and this is so far, the worst car buying experience I ever have had. This is the first bad review I write about a service. I know it is not an easy task to make everyone happy but I definitely had to make the time to warn other people like my wife and I who were looking to buy a decent car and not a problem. I don’t know what else to do, but for sure, I don’t want to deal with these guys anymore.

I had purchased a car from hertz in the past and remember liking the program. I received a loyalty email for $350 off with a coupon code and it was about time to pick up a minivan for the growing family so figured I’d give a van a test drive. So I like the van and go in to finish the purchase. We start to get into the process and the manager Gary Khaskin asks me if I’m a previous customer? I said of course I used the loyalty coupon code Hertz emailed me… He asks me if I printed up the email? I said no, I used a code. He doesn’t seem to care about the code and *insists* I print up the email? At this point I’m pretty sure my wife deleted the email, and I get that he probably doesn’t want first time customers getting a loyalty promotion so I explain to him "I think the email got deleted, but I can prove I’m a previous customer, can I bring in my receipt from my previous hertz car purchase?" -“no you have to print the email up” "I used the same Hertz account for both car purchases, can’t you see my previous purchase that qualifies me for the promotion?" -“no you must print the email up and physically hand it to me” "don’t you have record of who you send emails to? What is the point of a discount code if you are making me bring in a printed email?" -“I’m just following orders from corporate my hands are tied” "you’re the manager right? Can’t you accept alternate proof that I’m a previous customer?" -"I assure you I fought to have corporate change the rules but sorry my hands are tied" So to me it looks like Gary knew I would purchase the car without the coupon because I would get billed about $350 for the rental anyway. (Rental ended up being about 5 days as they were slow in processing my request to purchase) So I’m either out $350 for rental or out $350 on a ‘loyalty’ coupon… I decide to go home and luckily it turns out gmail doesn’t delete emails in your deleted folder for a long time. So happy ending, I print up the email from the deleted folder, hand it to Gary and he begrudgingly gives me the $350 discount after much wasted time, and I know to not buy a car from here again. I can’t stand it when ‘managers’ can’t apply common sense to a situation, and give me the “I’m going to act like a robot following rules from corporate at your expense” routine.
