Bull Moose Music is a Maine company. I have been going to this location since they opened when I was in my teens. Their staff has always been top-notch...friendly, intelligent people. Their prices on music, movies, and games have ALWAYS been lower than ANY of the chain places (Borders, fye, Barnes and Noble). This store has recently expanded and added a nice selection of books on all topics: fiction and literature, philosophy and religion, romance, travel, fine arts, cooking. Better yet, they sell books with a 30% discount off the price that the publisher stamps on the back. Ive noticed that used copies are marked with a yellow sticker and are priced even cheaper. They are good about ordering anything you ask for. Support this locally owned and operated company.

Granted you dont pay much when it comes to buying movies, music, and games... however, when it comes to selling.... u have everything! Ive never not found a book, DVD, or CD that I search for.. You carry a wide selection of all of it.. And the customer service? Top notch. Very respectful, courteous, and patient. Always willing and eager to help me if I need it and always determined to get any and all questions I may have answered. I highly recommend this business when on the look out for new and used books, music, and movies.. as well as a descent selection of the quirkiest, most hilarious gifts and gift gags that Ive seen. Highly impressed and one of my favorite places to shop. ;)

I love Bull Moose! They buy and sell lots of great items at amazing prices and if they dont have something your looking for just ask because most the time they can order it for you pretty fast. I buy all my kids Pokémon stuff here, game consoles and games, books, movies, and they have great unique gifts. I have sold them movies and games etc I no longer wanted. They also have lots of comic books and I bought a beautiful purse and wallet from them too! Theres literally something for everyone here and they have a rewards card you earn points anytime you buy or sell items. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Every time that I go back to Maine this store is on my list of places to stop. Movies, books or any kid of music that Ive been "considering" purchasing are all suddenly thrust before me at low prices. I can spend hours walking up and down the isles, leaving with either way too much or with nothing but a mantra playing in my head, "You really are going to be okay without ..., you have to go home eventually and all the movies/books/cds are not going to fit in your carry-on." It is a great place to go and spend time and, more often than not, money.

I havent been in since they expanded. Love the book selection and vinyl selections. Did the buyback, had a lot of CDs! Appreciate clerk that waited on me. His name tag was turned around, couldnt see it but he was super nice, and kept apologizing for taking so long. I wasnt in a hurry, enjoyed browsing the books. Will return very soon!

This is the best bookstore around! You can get books, music(cds, records, cassette tapes) and movies(vhs, DVD, Blu-ray) collectable toys, blind bags, posters, new and used gaming systems and accessories. They have amazing prices and always have the new release parties as well as their own parties.

Love this place... its so rare to find a record or bookstore these days. Bull Moose provides both, with their own special panache, along with unique gifts that range from gags to hard to find rare gifts for fans of comics, cult-classic TV, and music. I always stop in when Im in Bangor. Also, great staff?

This is one of my favorite places of all time! Everything there is cheaper, they have an awesome selection of video games, music, and movies and everyone that works there is awesome and friendly. They also have a super cool website so you can order most of their stuff and have it delivered!

Amazing store. I work next door at 420. One time a worker came in and said my music was too loud and I thought it was a joke considering bull moose is a music store. Ive continued to blast our reggae music and havent gotten any more complaints. The dude must have been having a bad day

My daughter movies was cracked when I opened it and they ordered a replacement no questions asked. Whatever they dont have they can order. It only took 3 days. Also very cheap movies and books. I LOVE their selection. They buy stuff too even vhs for 10¢ and records

They sell movies, music, books and other stuff. They sell both new and second hand items. The prices are usually lower than competing stores, even on the new stuff. I would check here before goingn to BAM or any other store that sells books, CDs or movies.
