This particular gameXchange is probably the worst game store Ive been to. The staff is uneducated on videogames, and the values they give for your used games are next to nothing. For some reason I keep coming back to this store only to leave in utter disappointment. One big complaint is lack of an organized system. They have no idea what games they actually have in stock and which ones are just empty cases sitting on the shelf. Every time I find a game I bring it up to the counter only to be told that they somehow misplaced the game itself. The other main complaint lies in their quality control. They DO NOT test the game accessories when you trade them in. Many times now I have had to return different used controllers to this store only to find that the one they exchanged it for does not work as well. This store is more of a pawn shop than an actually game store and I would recommend going to a different game store if you want a helpful staff and good quality products.

Staff is overall nice but incapable of helping more then one person at a time, the store has that dirty pawn shop feel and the prices reflect that, you wont pay top dollar for most titles but thats because theyre probably damaged in some way. Destroyed/incorrect cases are littered through out the store and they have no problem selling high dollar collector games for full price even if its missing the case/manual or if the disc is wrecked. Not to mention employees play personal music in the store which just leaves it with a strange grimy atmosphere. Trade ins are a complete joke here as well, you would be better off trading to Game Point or even GameStop if your looking for a fair amount. When I shop at Gamexchange I simply cant wait to leave with my receipt firmly in hand because I know theres a decent chance my game wont work. If your willing to take the risk you might find the titles youve been looking for at a cheap price but you wont enjoy your time at this store.

To the review below. I dont work there or dont know anyone that does. I was searching for another one of these stores and stumbled on your review. You bought used DVDs. If you could just return them then everyone would watch them and bring them back for a return. You had them for a week even. Best buy isnt going to give you cash back on opened dvds either. They will exchange them. This store exchanges anything if its defective, and if you find them cheaper at the holidays at one store thats great, but Game X change keeps them 1 low price year around and does buy 2 get 1 free and buy 3 get one free. You should have just said the dvds were skipping. You would have received full store credit for your purchase. Why should they let you watch a used movie and bring it back a week later for full refund in cash? These are small retail of course they dont have online returns. Your expectations and logic are the worst Ive ever seen.

Poor Customer Service, Bad Trade In Prices, and Bad Business I bought several DvDs here used. I then found them much cheaper at Best Buy plus a gift card (holiday sales can be great sometimes). I tried to return them. Note: There is not an online return policy, a posted return policy ANYWHERE at the store, nor is there one on the receipt. The lady told me that unless they were broken she couldnt refund them, however she could give me a credit. I paid about $35 for these; they offered $5 cash or $11 store credit. I JUST BOUGHT THEM less than a week ago!!! This is bad business. I will continue to shop at Best Buy because they have a return policy, better prices, reward points, and MUCH better customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I have been to the store many times, but this last visit has sealed the deal. I wont give them anymore business because they cannot even bother to take mine. Waited around for over twenty minutes to not be helped, while the people that were checking out even went to the pawn shop next door to check prices. Are you serious? Terrible customer service to say the least. The two girls behind the counter could not have cared less, and just chatted up the people in front of us instead of doing their jobs. Why would it take two people to do that job, leaving no other knowledgeable associate in the store to deal with other customers?! DO NOT GO HERE, it is just a huge waste of time.

Ive had trouble with them every time I go in there but this time is the last straw. I bought a wii and two remotes that were supposed to have the motion plus built in. I got home and realized that one of the remotes didnt and they also forgot to put a game I bought in the bag. I go to the store the next day to return the remote because I paid for it to be built in (which costs more) and they said they couldnt give me any kind of refund and only ten dollars store credit when I paid 25. They have stupid policies and the worker behind the counter was a snob. Will not be going back.

If youre looking for a used game, Game Xchange is the best place to buy one in Conway. Seriously, GameStop is over-priced, and GamePoint isnt as cheap as Game Xchange. If youre selling or trading in a console or game, do it here. I took my last xbox 360 to GameStop to sell and they offered me $35. That didnt seem like a good amount to me so I took it to Game Xchange and they offered me $65. They offer more for used games too.

I stopped by and bought a ps1 and final fantasy 8. I dont live in town so i asked the guy to check it. He turns it on amd calls it good. I should have had him turn on the game. I took it home and it didnt work so I take it in and they dont have another ps1 so they wont give me money back. Terrible. Terrible customer service, attitudes and policies. Dont go.

I wouldve given this a one star if they didnt have so many dvds to choose from. I have bought several game systems from them in the past and sometimes theyre fine, other times they dont give me everything I need or give me merchandise that doesnt work. Same with games and controllers. Take your money to Game Point instead of this place.

Havent always had the best luck with this place; items missing from systems weve bought, games that dont even work at start-up.. but its still a nice store to have in Conway and they tend to have a better variety here than other used game stores.

Bought some reasonably priced items here but when we had a problem with a controller they didnt seem to want to take it back and give us another one.. But they reluctantly did..after they saw it had a flaw

Really cool people working there. Very fair pricing. Amazing trade in deals. Very helpful service. I have no clue why this place is rated lower than that rip off store GameStop. Love this place.

If I could give this place a zero of 5 I would.. the 2 girls behind the counter are awful at their job I would suggest to the manager to terminate them.. they are running your customers away.
