Im always looking for places to fill out my collection of older games so when I noticed a new game shop in town I had to check it out. When I walked in I was immediately surprised at how open it was. The store is much larger than the Gamestops and Game X Changes in both Conway and Little Rock, and much bigger than the Play N Trade in Little Rock. The place is decorated nicely with video game statues, posters, and wall scrolls and instead of a random radio station playing in the background youre greeted with video game music. If you grew up playing games youre sure to crack a smile when you realize youve been humming along to the music while you browse the store. The selection is good but not great. As with any store like this their inventory is going to vary depending on what people bring in to trade and they dont have the mind-share that Gamestop does. If youre looking for newer games youll probably have more luck at a Gamestop but be prepared to pay a higher price than you would if you can find it here. Because of the price difference its worth a shot to stop here first and try Gamestop later. If, however, you are looking for older games this is where you want to be. Gamestop doesnt do older games so this stores competition in that area is Game X Change. They have a decent selection of games for every major system from the past. Prices are generally better than GXC and are on par or beat eBay. Customer service will always vary depending on who is working at the time you happen to come in but overall Game Point has GXC beat. They have a wider selection of games and even have stuff like wall scrolls, game soundtracks, and paraphernalia. The bottom line is this: Good people, good selection, good prices. They deserve a shot the next time youre looking for a game, old or new.

i went to Gamepoint after Gamestop would not take some games i had,the games where perfect, no scratchs or anything they where just old i guess. The people at Gamepoint always there to help they even ask about what game would u like and what new games are coming in anyway they took my games and rlly it was not like #1 or like word winning games butt they took them anyway they offered me i think $35 cash when Gamestop said nothing and then i think almost $100 in credit the guy also told me about a card i could get to get more in store credit when i buy and trade like 5% so i took that and i walked out of there with like $120 and some money in my pocket!!! the only reason i was selling my games was because i wanted a Nintendo 3DS they said they only had used ones in stock and they told me they would put me on a waiting list.about hmmmm, maybe a week later they called and said they got a new shipment of them in and asked me when i could pick it up i came 1day after they called me and used the money on the card i had previous and then all i had to do was use sum pocket change i had.I had to tell u guys about this store bc Gamestop has always been good butt now these days there like rlly starting to go down hill so sell ur games to gamepoint u wont regrect it they pay top-dollar!

Ive been to game point a few times now and have had mixed results. For the most part, the store is clean and well organized and there is a decent selection of both new and used gear, but the customer service is not great. I had bought 2 controller adapters for my wii u so I could plug in my old gamecube controllers to it and turns out one worked and one did not. When I went to return the one that didnt work (with receipt and within a couple days of the purchase) I was interrogated by the manager and treated like I was trying to screw them over. They wouldnt give me cash back, only store credit after about 15 minutes of him trying to get the adapter to work on the stores wii u console. At the end he was extremely rude, ignored me when I asked him a simple question and even threw the store credit receipt at me rather than handing it to me. People shop at places like this for the knowledge and customer service, because lets face it, ebay and online stores are always going to be cheaper. After how I was treated at game point for my return, especially as a repeat customer that they recognize, I cant justify coming back or recommending them for any reason

I bought an 60 GB hard disk drive for my Xbox 360 there so i could download and play world of tanks with my son. I had a total of maybe 2 hours of play time on it and it is corrupt. Xbox wont even load if it is in it. I can take it out, and it works fine. Took it back to store in original packaging with their store price tag on it. Granted i did not have a receipt, i understand that. I work at a large national retailer myself. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Nothing at all. No partial credit, no receipt search, nothing. Where i work, we would have at least given a store credit. It only worked for 2 hours. Had i not spent tons of money in there buying games for my kid and others for birthday/Christmas gifts...i wouldnt have been surprised. But i have gotten a lot of free games on the punch card program from there because of how many i buy. I guess i will have to go to Game Stop from now on.

Regardless of the last review posted by "T" this game store does give you more for your games than Game Stop or Game Exchange! I have personally shopped & traded at these stores for several years having experienced the disappointment of trade-in values at the corporate game stores. Game Point is the best thing going for trade in values at ANY game store period! The inventory changes daily & the game you want may not be in stock. However, they provide excellent service with their waiting list for out of stock games where they will hold it & call you when available. I have found nothing unethical in their dealings regarding trade-in values. I have asked for the individual trade-in values on games and had no problem with them giving me an honest answer. I have tried the rest now shop with the best and that is Gamepoint!

Everyone reading these reviews. These one or two star complainers are ignorant or haters. I have benn going to gamepoint for the last 12 years and everyone thats worked there has always been friendly and helpful. They have all kinds of gamer friendly merch. And if they dont they try to get it. Used to drive a truck across country and this is the best gaming store I have been to

Game point as a store looks great but the service was very unwelcoming. The whole time when I was there, I felt like I am being watched like a criminal. Also they lack to give me any information that I need to know. I do not know why the store employees were that way. Almost as if they did not want me as a customer.
