Just bought a WII system for my kids and needed another tv for the den. I looked up craigslist and found "the best deal in town". i liked the fact that they are a "store" and not out of the back of some uhaul truck. I was leery about purchasing a TV from an individual on craigslist due to the fact once you paid, you are done. So, i liked what i saw on the internet, read some reviews, liked the website they had up.... So loaded up the car with my wife for a 35 min haul to Tempe ( we live in avondale ). We arrived at the location in Tempe and looks to be an old bank location.... they had a drive thru at one time. There were a "truck load" of boxes out back as if they just got a shipment in. RIGHT in the doors you see TVs EVERYWHERE. They arent joking about the sea of TVS. I kind of know a little about tvs, so i know 37" to 42" was my target. I wanted to see the difference between 60 mhz and 120 mhz, LCD vs LED. There were probably 4 couples all doing what i was doing... examining the tvs..... wondering how big of a tv us guys could talk our wives into! About 3 minutes in we were greeted by a blond guy who asked if we needed any help. I told him what were were looking for.... he immediately took us over to 2 tvs, side by side.... one 60 mhz and the other 120 mhz. He must have gotten that question often. It confirmed my suspicion. 120 mhz was obviously cleaner. Next was the debate about LCD vs LED..... since this was a secondary "gaming" tv, i didnt want to spend the extra money on the LED. So narrowed down, he showed me a Sony Bravia, 40" LCD and 120 Mhz. for 525.00.... said he was running a deal on craigslist right now for 499.00. I was sold. I completed the transaction and confirmed what was included. I asked about places to eat since it was nearing lunch time.... and he said the greek restaurant next door was good. So we told them we would be back in 30 mins after we ate.... (See that review for My Big Fat Greek Express in Tempe).... lunch was AWESOME. We got back and the tv was wrapped ready to load in the backseat of my car. I didnt have to lift a thing. Turns out that the blond guy was Nick the owner of the shop! TV is perfect and i love that i saved over 300.00 on the purchase! Thanks Nick and thanks to "best deal in town"!

I saw there ad on craigslist and there was a specific model I needed for a television, but there store was half an hour away so I decided to call them to make sure they had the exact tv I needed. I wanted a specific model because it was compatible with what i was using it for. There was also another model that was similar but with an added letter at the end of the model number. I told the associate on the phone that I was looking for that specific model and not the other model that had a similar model number. I spoke with them on the phone for the specific model i needed and they said that there computer showed that they have that exact model and for me to hold to check to see if they had it in the back and they said they did. When I got to the store they unboxed the tv and I checked on the remote under the info menu and it wasnt the model I asked for, but instead was the model that I said I did not want. The model number on the side of the box was also for the model I did not want. What makes things worse is that they looked on there computer system and said that is the model you want because it says so in the computer system. So let me get this straight, the model number on the side of the box and on the info section on the tv says that it is not the correct model number, but because the computer system has it as the one I asked for it will magically turn the tv into the right one? They tried to lie to me and sell me the wrong tv even though the physical evidence shows that it was not the one i asked for. They lied to me over the phone and in person. If you are wrong just admit it then move on, dont try to sell the wrong tv to the customer still. Dishonesty may sell more tvs to the average person, but to an informed consumer it will not work. I will never go here again and I suggest anyone else do the same.

Best Deal In Town IS the best deal is town! I was first told about BDIT by my father who had recently bought a flat screen from this place. Needless to say, he got it at a very reasonable price. Upon arrival my father and I saw a sea of flat screens, Blu Ray players, wall mounts, and other boxes of unknown merchandise. The prices on most all items very unbelievably low and at that point we could not leave without something. The staff was also very friendly when we entered the shop, it was clean, quiet, and tons of things to choose from. Upon purchase we were surprised that we only spent a few minutes inside before picking the tv for us. Payment was quick, easy, and we werent bothered with tons of sale pitches. To this day my father is still happy with his flat screen and the service we recieved that day :) I even came back by myself for a wall mount for MY tv. The service was still very great and the mount only cost me $40 where as at walmart it would have been near $70 plus tax. Im still really happy with BDIT because they post many great offers on Facebook as well and I get a few email offers every once in a while that I will soon take up (: Thanks guys!

I am a business owner also. I just so happen to buy a lot of electronics. I love reading the reveiws on businesses I know are legitimate. I have personally bought at least 6 televisions from "the best deal in town" and have never had a problem with any of them. I have bought 48 through 80 inch models.Everyone makes mistakes but people who blast a company because because of petty crap annoy me. The only problem i ever had was i bought a 55 inch Sansung and it was supposed to be a flat panel, when I got home it was a more expensive curved model. I could have just kept it but I am not a scumbag. I called the store and told them what happened and they told me I could keep it. I went ahead and returned it to the store. Ryan than gave me an in store credit on my next purchase for returning the more expensive TV. Ryan seems to be on top of his game when it comes to these sad souls that can never be pleased. Keep up.the good work and I will be actually comming by in the next few days to get another 55 inch TV for my parents for their 50 wedding anniversary.
