David was very helpful and nice. Any questions I had he answered. The store is always very clean and the front of the store makes you wanna come in and see more. They have the biggest polar bear in the front and bicycles and motorcycles that are just beautiful. This is the first pawn shop that actually makes all the used things they sell look brand new. I just want everyone to know that the employees at Pawn 1st on 19th ave. Just south of Bell take pride in their jobs. I have bought all my tvs and gifts at Pawn shops and honestly this pawn shop helped me when I bought a watch for my son and he didnt like it. See all pawn shops give in store credit you do not ever get your cash back. Not an issue as long as you can find something else you want. Brandon was a big help with that. He told us to take time and think about what we want and that we can do a layaway if we wanted. David was amazing with our pawn and Brandon was amazing with our return. The gentleman and I wish I knew his name he was amazing the very first time I went in to pawn a few months after they opened. I always get a great deal for what I have or what I want. My experience every time I go in there is always the same. ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AWESOME. Cody. He is amazing. He has been the one I have been dealing with since day one. My husband and I have fallen onto some hard times and we had to pawn a lot of our life. Cody is very sympathetic to us and our feelings. He never has given us anything but respect in dealing with our situation. We are working hard on being able to retrieve our belongings and we were able to get some things out already. I will never go anywhere else for this. Pawn 1St will forever have my business. Thank you to Cody. Boss Hawg, I believe his name is Graham and Bow tie guy. And whoever else I may have missed. All of you are one of a kind amazing.

Went there a couple days ago to sell my 14k gold ring and they told me it was fake by looking at it and didnt even try to test it. They were rude and not knowledgeable at all. Went across the street to A to Z Pawns and they looked at it, tested it and gave me 200 bucks for it. I asked the guys at pawn 1st if I was to pawn it how much the interest rate is and they said 37%. I asked A to Z Pawns and theirs is 22%!!!! The guys at pawn 1st are rude. Young guy that works there was talking down on all the people he was helping. The guys at A to z pawns were very very polite and knowledgeable and have been a mom and pop store for 26 years! With a to z pawns across the street it makes pawn 1st actually pawn last...

I really like pawn shops, this one is my favorite, great staff, large selection. Its nice always being greeted with a smile. I always like negotiating a price and the staff here makes me feel good about any offer I make, whether accepting it or coming back with an apology and counter offer. When selling here, if I am not happy with their offer they always recommend other options available to me for selling. I have only returned one item with a rechargeable battery that should have run for 8 hours but would only run 2, with many apologies they refunded my purchase and offered recommendations on a replacement.

As always my experience here was first rate. I always get a good deal whether Im buying or selling, and the employees are always nice, curtious​, and efficient. David helped me quickly and with a positive humorous attitude. Just as I thought my experience at a pawn shop could get no better. Like a dapper ninja, David materialized out of left field with his suspender and bow tie game so on point, he makes Doctor Whos Matt Smith look like a drunk and deshevalled hobo.Touche good sir, touche!

Just driving by and was greeted by Andrew (Boss-Hawg) and he took care of what I needed instantly. There was so much to choose from (large computer monitors) he waked through the ones I picked out and plugged it up for me and it was perfect. Ive been shopping in Pawn shops for many years - HANDS DOWN - the very best experience and service ever! And their stock is nice. They dont have a lot of junk to sort through! I went for a flat screen and talked to an awesome employee named Andrew.He was curteous,helpful,and worked with me.Even hooked me up with a universal remote.When I got home,the tv didnt work.But the best part about my visit was when I went back to get my money back,he replaced the tv with a better tv that was worth more and hooked me up.I would come back just because he gave me good service.He should be promoted to president of the company.

This place straight up ripped me off a 194$ to renew my pawn? It was only a three hundred dollar loan and want and extra two hundred to get out my tablet I use to work on? How freaking ridiculously horrible you pawn 1st suck! No sympathy for people trying to get by all they do is steal straight up thiefs stay away from this shop do not buy and only pawn if you dont want to see it again because they make it impossible to get your stuff out!

Staff is super friendly, and I feel that I got a fair price... UPDATE! On 5/24/17 I went into Pawn 1st as a damsel in distress... Long story short, there was a misunderstanding/lack of communication somewhere on my part... Thank goodness for Cody! I know that anytime I need a smile or help (financially), Cody, Andrew, and/or just about any other staff member are there for me! Thank you guys so much for making me feel like family! ❤️

This is one of my all time favorite pawn shops! Staff there are very courteous and friendly ! I am a gadget freak and this place has the best of the products for my need! They take time to explain the product and they give you good deal ! I have bought more than 50 items till date and I was never disappointed. I would like to give "my pat on the back" award for Mr Brandon there !! He never fails in his customer service !!

I walked in and an employee quoted me 30 dollars for a Wii console but I had forgot to grab my hdmi cord so I had to run back home to get it. So when I returned the same guy that quoted me 30 dollars changed his mind and wanted 10 dollars for it. The manager wouldnt even honor what the guy said originally. Do to poor customer service and the lack of integrity, I am forced to give this place a 1 star review.
