First and foremost, they can finance anyone. That, I will give them. The car buying process is pretty painless and easy. What concerns me with them is the following... 1. My vehicle did not complete a state required safety inspection because if it did, my front brake pads would not have been at 9% of life upon pick up. I had to have them repaired. My battery was also dead but that was an absorbable cost and naturally a buyers liability. 2. I bought my car in April. Today, I discovered a transmission leak. I called Dave at Liberty and asked him if he could refer to his mechanic. I wanted to take it to the dealership because I wanted it to go back where it came from for the repairs. Possibly the dealer would get a better rate? Maybe. I told Dave that I was aware I bought the car as is with no warranty. I did not expect the dealer to make the repairs at all. Not their responsibility. He gave me the number for the mechanic and I called the mechanic. I told the mechanic that I didnt anticipate the dealer to pay for the repair but that I was hoping they were familiar with the car. I told him the car is having trouble starting and that it may need to be towed but Id get it in. End of story. I called Dave to say thank you and see if I should just trade it in if the damage was too extensive and the first thing he says to me when he answered the phone pleas "let me reiterate - liberty will not pay a single penny for the repairs!" Ok great, Dave - wasnt asking you to. I can read a binding contract and known there is no liability on you. I even told your mechanic I was not expecting you to pick up the cost. I bought the sucker in May! Wouldnt even be reasonable. Dave alleges that his mechanic stated I would not pay the cost. Not true. Not remotely true. I am not sure what kind of conduct goes on here with this dealership or the mechanic but the experience was less than favorable. I asked for assistance, not liability or the costs to be covered.

Had a great experience with Liberty Auto especially when compared to dealing initially with a franchise Nissan dealership (Peoria Nissan). Not shocking to probably anyone but the big-box dealerships still try to get sales through "deceptive and false leaders". Peoria Nissan had a brand new 2015 Nissan Rogue on sale for $16,000 (base model). We were perfectly fine with a base model and went in ready to buy with paperwork in-hand showing the EXACT car we were looking to purchase - right down to the VIN, advertised price and other vehicle info as provided on their very own online inventory. Long story short after hours of them trying to sell us other used cars and other new cars, they finally showed us the base vehicle we came in for. After test drive, we sat done ready to buy and her came the shock: $16,000 yes but tax is calculated on MSRP of $19,000, plus their “paint protection package” was another $3,000 plus their other dealer fees it came out to almost $23,000. BS and especially on this so called “paint protection package” that you cannot opt out of. After hours wasted at this dealership we stumbled upon Liberty Cars & Autos on Edmund’s while looking for a Nissan Rogue. When all was said and done, we ultimately bought the exact one we found online from Liberty and I cannot say it enough about how pleased and presently surprised we were with our dealings with Liberty – specifically with Bill over the phone and with Dana for the finalization of the buy. SOLID, UPFRONT and no hidden agendas during this purchase. Sorry for the long story but wanted to tell everyone WHY it was so refreshing to deal with Liberty who came at it with honesty and not hidden fees. Thanks again Liberty (Dana & Bill). I never thought I would use the word "integrity" when it comes to describing a car dealership, but for Liberty it fits. My husband and I bought a truck from them 6 months ago. We couldnt believe when it broke down 2 days later (please, read to the end). They brought it in, did some repairs and had it back quickly along with a free 3-month warranty, but we had problems again a day later. They took it again and gave us a loaner. The whole while Im thinking what a mistake this was, but they called us in, said they found that its a defect in the transmission and while they could fix it, they couldnt guarantee how long it would last and they wanted to see if they could get us into something different - if we preferred. We came back the next day, found a nicer truck that we liked better, they made a few repairs we requested and we were on our way. Havent had a problem since - we couldnt be happier. What other dealership would take it back and let us get something else?

After I bought my car I found out that the lights in the back and the drive saft light didnt turn on so I called the next day cause I bought the car in the afternoon so I couldnt see that they didnt work. They said they wouldnt fix it (wasnt covered under my 15 day warrenty) Then, it took three months for my plate to come in with NO call from them telling me there was an issue I had to call them every month. When it did come in he threw the plate down on the desk and then said oh I guess I could put it on for you. I bought my car in February and the first week of summer my a.c. no longer works I called and they would fix it but I had to pay them a ton of money because they said I never got the warranty on it yet i was never offered one I have a witness. They are rude and unwilling to work with people not sure how they are BBB approved they are horrible please save your money and go somewhere else.

The guys over at Liberty are courteous and honest, which I really appreciated - especially as a first time buyer. I had gone in looking for a used SUV and found one that fit my budget but Larry was honest and upfront about some mileage problems it had - he could have easily tried to convince me there were no mileage problems but he didnt, which is how I realized they were honest. I ended up looking at a few other cars and driving out (that same day) with a much better car that also fit my budget. The car needed a paint job fix and I was given a loaner during the few days it was getting fixed. Initially, the paint job wasnt done correctly by the shop (not the dealership) and the guys at Liberty had it sent back so they could have it done the right way. When I got the car back I loved it even more! I would recommend Liberty Cars & Trucks to anyone looking to buy a reasonably priced used vehicle.

This Company took all of my interests to heart when matching me with the vehicle that I purchased. They where quick efficient, meet and exceeded my requirements for payments and overall price. From the moment i walked on the lot to the moment i signed the last page they where courteous and only had my familys best interest at heart. Me and my wife have a 9 week old baby and i no longer have to worry about the vehicle i drive thanks to Liberty Cars and Trucks. I will recommend that you go check them out before buying a car from anyone else. Thank you to the whole Staff there, everyone helped from the first point of contact Michael who matched me with my vehicle to Dana who helped finding someone to take our loan. Liberty Cars and Trucks is an honest, reliable, trustworthy company and i can tell they will help many more people find the right car for them
