Maybe 10 years ago, I bought a lot of clothes at Old Navy. I dug their very basic, well-fitted style and the relative quality compared to price. Even their jeans were decent. What the heck has happened to them? I revisited them yesterday, tried on some shirts and some jeans. Everything in the store was made of thin, cheap, see-through fabric, was poorly fitted (Im thinnish, but when I try on jeans that advertise a "close fit" in the hips and thighs, I dont want to feel like Ive just put on something that was meant for someone with an enormous amount of "junk in the trunk.") The prices were low in general, but theres not much triumph in paying $30+ for a pair of Wal-mart-grade jeans. Oh, and the selection sucks. Old Navy seems to pick a few styles at a time, and make them in 25 different colors. Looking for anything remotely dressy? Forget it. Even their dresses are cheaply-made and ultra-casual. Actually, their dresses look like they could double as swimsuit coverups. Terrible.

Im actually not a huge Old Navy shopper but I do go to the $1 Flip Flop annual sales. Which is pretty nicely set up throughout the store and Im very pleased that have all cash registers running when they do these big sales!

This location has very poor customer service. If you are planning to shop here, know that your sale will most likely be FINAL if you want to make a return later.
