I have been a Verizon customer for many years I have four lines currently, and one of them belongs to my 91 year-old World War II veteran father. My dad lost his charger and the line (sync and charge line) to connect it so we went to this store a week and purchased the two items so that he could continue to use his phone. We happened to pass this location while we were on our way to a meeting, as we live in Sun City. I was told that I could return the items within 14 days if I found his charger. We DID find dads original charger, so I came back to this store two nights ago ( after being told in another verizon store that I had to return the items at the store where I originally purchased them !) and I waited over 25 minutes before I was even acknowledged by anyone. Finally, when someone called me to their counter, they told me that my return receipt was not valid. My dad is 91 years old and has slight dementia and he obviously lost the receipt for the items. They are in the boxes, as purchased, I have a statement from my credit card with the name of the store the fact that it was Electronics and the purchase date and the purchase amount ($54.58), but they would not accept it as a valid receipt! I was told I would have to speak to a manager, who was not in until the next day! I advised the gentleman that I do not live in this area and I would really appreciate it if he would make the return but he absolutely refused! When I tried to call the manager , the next day, I was asked all kinds of questions as to why and who I was and I simply stated Im a customer and I need to speak to the manager as I was instructed. The associate came back to the phone and said that the manager was on a conference call. Im starting to see a clear picture! It is time for me to update my phone - all 4 lines and I do believe it is time for a big change from Verizon! Customer Service has deteriorated completely. As much as I spend a month and have spent for years - perhaps it will be appreciated by another company.

Switched to Verizon to get away from the horrible customer service at t mobile only to be met with worse service. The girl (Katherine) put the wrong info for store shipping address for my phone (who doesnt know their own address??!!!) Representatives habitually lied to me about when my phone would arrive in store, wasted my time, petrol, & energy going back & forth to this store, meanwhile Im stuck with 2 phones one they gave me as a temp and t mobile phone which, due to their error I am continuously being charged for because I cant switch my number over. When I call to have them correct it or get info on my order they give me an attitude like Im the issue when the fact that they dont know what they are doing is the issue. They engage in predatory business behavior. The pushed me into opening my account before the phone I wanted was in inventory. The phone I want is sitting on their shelf now, but they tell me I cant have it because my account is locked into the phone being shipped, yet it can never arrive because they wont go in and correct the shipping. They are incredibly rude. I reached out to the customer care line, the rep calls the store to help me get the issue resolved. She asks Katherine to check on the shipping status and verify and verify when a manager would be in & Katherine responds with "we are too busy". Can you believe it! She messed the account up then gets an attitude when someone asks her to do her job. Thankfully the customer care rep pushed her to do the right thing and do her job, to which she gave an irritable sigh & just acted like we were a nuisance. They just want the commission and then screw what happens to you & your account after. Worst experience of my life. Do not do business with these people & especially do not allow Katherine to set up you account.

Last month I went to upgrade a phone to a smart phone for my daughter. We picked out the phone Galaxy 6 wich the rep said was $199 for the upgrade with an extra $40 a month because it is a smart phone. I assumed this is with the usual 2 year extended contract. We had a 4th line that I wanted dropped so he said this will save $20 a month so my bill would only go up a little over $20 a month. Which my husband and I verified several times with the rep(jorge). And 1 time fee of $15 to change the number. The rep then of course tried to get us to upgrade our other two phones and I let him know that I was not going to spend any more.( it was a present for a teen $200 is almost too much) he kept trying which is to be expected. It was taking a long time he kept apologizing and saying his computer was slow. He said the total would be $216.36 for the phone and he gave us a phone case I assumed was for taking so long. I gave him cash. He then said it was asking for $10 on my credit card which I thought was odd and asked why? He said to link the sale to our account. He gave us a receipt. Fast forward one month later I get my bill and wonder why its almost $30 more than we talked about. It said I am financing a phone $578 at $25 a month. At this point I am thinking dont get mad it must be a mistake so I call the store. The rep on the phone says oh no thats how we do it now the $199 is a down payment. That I can bring my receipt in. Wow! Really, not once was there ever a mention of another cost. Even when this gets resolved theres no way I could give this store more than one star. I am appalled at Conniving and deceitful this went down. And as a sales rep myself I am disgusted. I have never written a review but will update after I go in.

I cannot recommend this store to anyone I care for, with the experience in service I received. Very misleading. This is not a true Verizon store but a "4G wireless" store, meaning that they CAN and WILL sell you a phone for as much as they can get away with and tell you that "this phone comes with such and such items" and end up SELLING then to you in the process, telling you that the phone you are inquiring about WILL COST $273 dollars....in other words: the phone is $0 out of pocket MR.CUSTOMER but IM UPSELLIN you these UNNECESSARY and UPMARKED ACCESSORIES in the process making you think that its the cost of getting the phone. And dont worry MR.CUSTOMER, you have 14 days to exchange the GALAXY for an IPHONE if you prefer but I wont tell you that those ACCESSORIES that "COME WITH THE PHONE" , I charged you for and are NON-REFUNDABLE and useless for your Iphone since you might end up trading the GALAXY. Here MR.CUSTOMER, sign this little electronic pad that tells you, you are "receiving these items" A.K.A. buying these non-refundable items in this transaction. ......Very Very SHADY. This store is no better than a Kiosk at the mall. AVOID and go to a TRUE VERIZON store. Im sure Im not the first nor will be the last to get wacked by this awful misrepresented excuse of a wireless store. Verizon as a company is great, but stores like this, give the company a bad name, BEWARE. I wish someone had written a review like this before I was sold over $200 of unnecessary accessories in the transaction. Sir, welcome to Verizon wireless, the "4G Wirelss" Way! ......
