Pawning personal items is never an easy decision. The items that are often loaned to the store have a high personal as well as monetary value. And they are often loaned because cash is needed quickly to cover an emergency. While there are many financial tools available pawning is one of the best when financial reserves or credit are not available. Because in the event the loan can not be paid the collateral is kept by the store and there is no damage to your credit. Pawn first has, in my opinion, disrupted the pawn business by changing an industry that has had a negative stereotype of shady stores, in shady locations staffed with even shadier pawnbrokers who are ready to take advantage of customers in great financial need and built stores in locations that I would drive to at any hour of the day. Pawn First has built stores that are clean, stocked with great merchandise and best of all staffed with employees who genuinely understand and CARE about customers needs and why they are in the store (for loan, pawn or purchase) Over the past two years I have had a rough change in finances because of a job loss. Over these past two years I have had to use the services at Pawn 1st on 67th and Bell to get some of the emergency help Ive needed. I think Ive left maybe one or two business reviews on the internet before this one. But today I felt compelled to write how wonderful Pedro Mora and Maria Felix have been each time Ive seen them at the store. I really feel like they do the best they can to help me within the company policies they have and always make me feel welcome. I have had such a positive experience with Pawn 1st and Pedro and Maria that I will always recommend the company and their location to any friend or family in financial need. I know that anyone I send to Pawn 1st, Pedro or Maria will be treated with great customer service and care. Thank you Pedro, Maria and Pawn 1st for helping me keep my lights on, food on the table, and my kids medicine in the cabinet. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I called before going in to make sure they accept my items there, after driving for 40 minutes we finally made it! What a waste of time! Everything we had apparently didnt have more then $5 value, my Sony DVD player, which I accepted to sell because I didnt have the controller. Then my JVC camcorder with a case and charger working in perfect condition going for $70 on eBay he said he can only give me $5 for it????? Seriously???? Then turns out that they only take certain brands of golf clubs!!!!! I had the non-popular ones I guess!!!!! So I decided to sell the DVD player only thinking I can sell the camcorder much higher on offer up!!! He turns around and says theyre policy is minimum $10 per transaction????? Thats when I just wanted to get the hell out of there to sit and write this detailed review! So dont go there and waste your time like me!

I must say that for being my first time to visit a pawn shop that it was a great experience. I was greeted by Pedro Mora as he inquired the reason for my visit. I was in search of a tile cutter and a power washer. He guided me to the respective areas and explained the condition of each item. He plug the devices in and showed me the operation of them. I was satisfied with the items and purchased them. I thanked Pedro for his assistance and told him that Id return often to see what he had available that I might need. If you havent been to a pawn shop or had a not so good experience at one, try Pawn1st. I am sure you will be as impressed as I was.

False advertisement. I brought in 58 ounces of sterling silver. Refused to test it because one fork had some magnetic resistance. Of course it will have a slight resistance. After ten minutes of arguing he tested my Sterling silver bowl which was 318 grams and offered 45 dollars. You can prove you pay the most? Well I can prove you wrong. If I was as dumb as your dipshit employee than you then you would have made at least an 800 profit off my silver. I had the FULL set of Gorham silver Pat 1913. Go ahead and Google that price tag. Huge loss on money today because your "pawn brokers" are rude and have ZERO clue to what they are doing.

As a well known entrepreneur in the Phoenix valley, I am notoriously demanding of the superior customer service I enforce upon my staff. I have high expectations and allow that one opportunity to make the perfect impression. With that said, during my visit to your establishment I was EXTREMELY impressed with the demeanor and patience of Stephanie Negreros while dealing with my complex personality and negotiation for the best price. She deals a hard bargain! The entire store was professional and clean but Stephanie clearly portrayed the image I would expect from my employees. If she is looking for a job I would hire her in a second.

Normally i dont do pawn shopping due to the pasts experiences with the rude service at other locations, but when i came to this one...i gave Rochelle 2 thumbs up.Shes so awesome!!! Friendly, good sense of humor and great customer service!!! She took care of me, gave me great estimates and is very fast paced. Had a huge smile on her face,made me feel welcomed.This employee i would rate more then 5 stars if i could and really wish other locations were as good as employees like herself. Good job and thank you for the service!!!:)

I have dealt with the sales rep, Travis on multiple sales, he had excellent customer service, and made my experience something to remember. Wow! That pretty much sums up my exact thought after my purchase. I was greeted with a friendly smile by Pedro Mora who I later found out was the Manager. Pedro was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with!!! Pedro ensured that not only did I feel welcomed but answered all my questions without hesitation. Im glad to say Im now a happy owner a Fitbit Surge! I will definitely be coming back!!!!!

I have been working with Travis at Pawn 1st for years and I have to say that I have always had a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I call on Travis regularly whenever I need ANYTHING , loans or retail, it is Pawn 1st for me , but let me clear I drive an extra 10 miles to work with Travis rather than the local Pawn 1st . I stopped in to Pawn 1st on Bell rd. the day after it opened after having used one of their other stores in Goodyear, I was very pleased with the way that they handled my loan in such a respectful and discreet fashion. I had some gold that I wasnt sure what I could get for it but much to my surprise I got $245.00 for it. I would defiantly recommend Pawn 1st
