Girls said they were covering; Instead of making a scene for their ridiculous offer (there was a child in the store) I decided to leave and write a bad review. I drove 20 minutes each way because the google ratings were good. I arrived and thought I was in the wrong place and pulled up the shops name on my iPhone which uses a different system and low and behold 1 star. Dear god why did I drive that far for this. I tried went in and here are the results Went in with 2 items 1) DVD tv writer w tuner built in (rare) refurbished on Ebay presently for $240 (the ebay seller has already sold one at this price) MY OFFER $10 I will list myself on Ebay 2) 5 total 1/10 OZ GOLD MAPLE LEAFS (If you collect bullion you know what these are) and they carry a higher value in that denomination than an oz or 1 half oz. MY OFFER $68 per 1/10 Oz. Again on ebay right now these are selling for $129.8. Your website said 98% of the value of the gold FYI. Needless to say I walked and will wait to buy my season pass to snowbowl. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME (a little more wont hurt) AND GAS Good luck any patron unless youve stolen your goods and dont care about the salvage value in that case this is probably your place for a quick unload.

A month or so ago I received a call from my brother in NH that my mother had passed, suddenly, and a very young age. This was Labor Day Weekend, and the cheapest same or next-day flight was over $1,000. I called Tempe Pawn and Gold and was accomidated by Greg who, in just short of a half-hour, had all of the paperwork done allowing me to go straight to the airport from the shop, get on a plane, fly for more than 7 hours and arrive just in time to get to the funereal home. There is LITERALLY no other way I wouldve made it back to New England without the understanding, professionalism and efficiency of Greg and his staff. For this, I will always be eternally grateful and will forever extoll the virtues of the business, and I emplore anyone seeking title loans to skip the high-priced franchises and go straight to this honorable small-business man. Save time by not calling around for other intrest rates. Greg has no TV commercials, and that equates to enormous savings for you. I also got a great deal on a guitar when I went with my 1st months payment!

I bought an iPhone 5C from these guys off eBay. It was supposed to be a 16GB model... it came as an 8GB model (5.3 usable GBs). I instantly requested a refund and a return. They graciously accepted and since the item was not as described the seller (Tempe Pawn) was supposed to pay return shipping. I asked for a return shipping label and they stated they could not generate me one but they agreed to cover the return shipping costs. In summary, I paid $119.99 for the phone and $28 for shipping to me. I then paid $34.91 for the return shipping. The phone is now returned and received my refund... of 119.99 and 7.00 for shipping. So not only was I shorted on the original shipping costs, I didnt receive a refund for my return shipping either. RESOLVE THIS TEMPE PAWN AND GOLD, I am the customer and I am in the right. I have every email that was exchanged between us and you are trying to screw me! He also claims on ebay that he refunded me 119.99 plus the original shipping of 28... LIES!

Was looking over reviews when I found this shop. I brought in a few peices of jewelry the first one was a 1 Caret diamond with paperwork. He said he was going to verify the size he came back with a 200 dollar offer stating it was only 1/2 caret. I showed the gentleman the paperwork and he offered $50 more. I should have left then and there! I then showed him my David yurman necklace. He said they only pay for the silver weight $10 offer for a $800 necklace and cross. Dont waste your time with these guys. This is the knowledge of non corporate workers. All they care about is what they can sell if for on eBay.

Jessica C. Michal- I am 18, and in a very tight spot. So I took in an ipod touch with both USB and Wall charger, and a gold ring easily worth 400$. When I asked what they were offering, it was 140$ for all of it. I have NEVER met someone who would try to rip off a kid. ESPECIALLY when they know there is an obvious reason for a kid to give up their technology. :/ They are cheap and scandalous. Would NOT advise going here. And if you ever read this mr pawn shop guy.... Go shove everything up the one place where the sun doesnt shine. THANK YOU! <3

So last week I came into this place and I was quoted a price for my bass guitar. I didnt feel I could part with it and I wasnt entirely sure what a pawn was, so I left. I came in today however and the girl looked at me and then at my bass and said I cant take it. She pointed out two things that have no matter in the function of the guitar or that were severely damaging cosmetically. I had been offered money for it but declined because I didnt want to part with it permanently.

Beware of the midget manager, he has a short person complex. This store will make up any bs to either give you next to nothing or not do business with you. I had the same item brought in a few times and got denied the next time I brought it in. I rarely review on Google but this store deserved to be put on blast. Went down the street to super pawn and had no issue. Josh the manager is cool but dont expect what youre asking for.

I bought an iPad from them a while back and it was brand new and priced very reasonably! If you ever need new electronics Id definitely come here. All their prices are very reasonable. They also pawn a very high percentage compared to other pawn shops . Love them and will definitely return :)

Theyve always offered higher cash & always professional & caring & sensitive to customers especially since Im a mother going in with my kids trying to make ends meet. They always ask what amount Im looking for. I never feel embarrassed or anything when pawning stuff for bills.
