In all my years I have never heard anyone talk to other employees the way she does. I was waiting at the front for some help and instead of helping me all I hear is this crazy woman screaming at her employees! At first I thought she was a disgruntled customer, but was later told that shes the floor manager!!I dont know what school she went to, but her motivation skills leave something to be desired. , to say nothing of her lack of TACT. So inappropriate - not the shopping experience I was expecting, and not a good representative of the Haverty name. The other employees were fairly helpful though. The mattresses were a little pricey, but at least I know Im getting a decent product with a warranty. The other places in town are not as nice.

May or June 2015 we purchased $9,000 worth of furniture. When it was delivered 1/3 of it was damaged. When they replaced 1 item the replacement was also damaged. Finally on the 3rd replacement it was fine. Around 6-8 weeks ago we bought $1100 more, a desk and end table. End table showed up broke. Desk was fine. However now the finish has come off the desk. Its in a room we dont use, its just there for pretty. There is a lamp and a calculator on it. A rep came out and said something was sat on top of it to make the finish come off. Ive explained we dont use the desk. Doesnt matter they wont fix it. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM. THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THEY USED TO BE!

FABULOUS - After looking at all the other furniture stores in Tuscaloosa, I bought a kitchen table for my sons apartment and a tv stand for my other sons house. Bought a desk with hutch at Havertys in another state and many other pieces. Reasonable prices, much better quality than the other furniture stores in T-Town. My go-to furniture store without spending a ton of money. Will return many more times.
