I have bought many items from this store in the past. In September, my husband and I bought ourselves a wedding gift from there. A bedroom set with a king size bed. My husband is deployed now, and this morning at 5am the bed broke. First one slat on my husbands side of the bed broke then a minute later the two center slats snapped and the bed caved in. When they opened I went to the store and explained what happened and asked if they would repair it as it is under warranty. They said it would be a few days before someone could get out there. Then i got a call from the service guy and he said when he came out in a cpl days hed look at it. Then I called the manager and she said i would need to purchase a 70$ metal kit to support the bed or this would just happen again. I told her I felt a little ripped off and while I would pay the 70$ i wanted the address to write the owner a letter. A few mins later the owner called me, and said he wanted to save me a stamp, that on occasion he gets demanding customers who do things on their bed that they shouldnt and then they have trouble with their beds. ( i was SO offended! What was he trying to say?!) Then I said i felt a little ripped off by them urging me to spend an additional 70$. He said i had a choice, pay for the metal kit at $76.64 after tax or take my business somewhere else. (of course I had to pay for the kit, I needed my bed!!) I urge you PLEASE do not shop here. I will NEVER do business again with a company that treats their customers like that. I am disappointed and truly feel taken.

First I must say that the sales person was very kind and helpful, unfortunately I cannot say the same about their business ethics. We were shown a piece of furniture that we considered a very tasteful and excellent craftsmanship. However, when I asked about delivering timeline I was told that the piece was not available for another week or a week and a half to which we agree. Assuming that the piece was going to arrive in two weeks or so, we pay the item in full and left the stores very satisfy about our purchase. Four weeks went by and not a single call from them. So we decided to call, the salesmen who sold us the item called the manufacturer and he was told that the piece will not arrive until three to four weeks later. Dissatisfied with his answer I told him that I will be stopping by to cancel my order. His counteroffer was to sell me the display model for the same price without the smallest glimpse of customer satisfaction. So, I went to the store and got my money back. The fact that they are trying to employ new business strategy like "built-to-order" or something to that effect is not working at all. You cant tell a customer that his goods will be delivering at certain timeframe and turnaround and do exact opposite. If I was you, I will take precautions and ask if the piece is readily available, if they have to order it...dont bother.

If you are looking for an Interior Designer/Home Decorator, don’t look any farther. Mary Beth Haviland is the person you want. Working with her has been a wonderful experience. Thorough, careful, dependable, honest, extremely helpful, full of energy and ideas, classy, creative, timeless and will blow you away. I can’t say enough great comments about her. In a matter of 4 months, she completely transformed my entire condo. Mary is an incredible artist and designer with an eye for style. Her ability to pair unique colors and furnishings is flawless. She gets things done fast. The services that I received for my condo were a combination of professionalism and experience. During my initial consultation, Mary listened to my vision and desires, asked questions, put together an excellent package and delivered my expectations. She is not only good at interior designing, but great at it and very easy to work with. In my opinion, Mary’s professionalism coupled with her knowledge and attention to detail puts her in a category as one of the best in the industry. I highly recommend her services, you will not be disappointed.

Very clean and organized business! Friendly staff but are still salesman. New to the TN area and have started completely over with furniture. ALL the old furniture was left so I went in shopping and looking to spend money for the essentials (couch, love seat, bed, frame, dresser, mirror, etc.) Everything to fill a house mainly. Total came out to $50 more than what I was looking to pay. Well I figured as a business they would budge and help a little but the reason behind my 2 stars is because there was very little help working with numbers and coming to agreement. It was all their way or the highway. Also before I forget, we went in and were told a certain credit limit, the salesman pushed their corporate to just lend a little more and they did. Well he did it again and they ended up shut it all down, back to square 1 which made even harder to get everything. All in all its been a complete waste of alot of my time. American freight warehouse has cheaper deals (con is they do not finance). Hopefully they can help the next person out but I was not one of those people.

Every time we go in we get greeted they dont pester us to buy anything they give advice only when asked very laid back and relaxed. I suggest this place to anyone, they work with you and arent in a rush trying to sell it to you(biggest problem I have with most places). The guy that helped us even remembered us made the experience way better when we went back! We wanted to switch beds and he didnt pester us with a bunch of questions as to why and try and talk us out of it he immediately went to work on finding out which one we wanted and getting everything set up. I cant give him enough praise he doesnt follow you around he lets you take your time lets you know about deals and then tells you where he will be if you need him or he sits in the chair relaxing while your looking and asking question. I will go here for all my furniture needs and I tell everyone to go here.

My husband and I have worked with Brett several times in the past couple of months. In March, we went in search of a bed and Brett was the first person we talked to upon entering the store. We ended up buying a new bedroom suite after discussing the challenge to match a new bed with our 4 year old furniture. Brett was great in helping us change the delivery date and time when some confusion arose about our items being delivered. In April, Brett helped us pick out and customize a Bassett sofa for our living room. He made it a great experience and was thrilled in helping us get exactly what we wanted. Brett is a wonderful salesman and he even helped me carry my carseat while we were looking at other furniture. We have been shopping here for 4 years and Bretts customer service is the reason we will continue to frequent this local business.
