DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! STAY AWAY!!! I had a contract on a vehicle and the selling point was when we had in writing and they "promised" I would get an installed GPS system. They brought in 2 BMW technicians and to make a long story short, I was told that they could not install the "contracted and promised" GPS system. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks and every time I called, I was ignored. One manager, Danny, hung up on me and refused to call me back when I asked for a status on my vehicle. The other manager, Chuck, offered me a Garmin. I could not believe he offered to put a Garmin in a BMW!! I told him, "Chuck, we have a contract for an installed GPS system (the installed GPS was also the deal breaker for me and I was upfront with Richie and the entire staff I dealt with so they put it in the contract) and his response was, "Mr. B, the contract does not say that we would install a BMW GPS system." I was SHOCKED!!! I couldnt believe that was his response. I asked him, "So why did you have 2 BMW techs come in from out of town to see if it could be installed then?" He said that his "back was up against the wall." I kept calling and they would not call me back with an update on my vehicle. This was the WORST experience that I have ever had purchasing a vehicle in my life. I served 25 years in the Air Force and I can tell you, this was my worst customer service experience ever!!!! I told Chuck that this was a breach of contract and he said, "No, you have to figure out what you want to do." We had a contract for an installed GPS and they did not keep their word or promise! Once you sign the papers, the honeymoon is over!!! One time when I spoke to Chuck, he asked me if I had my vehicle....it was sitting in his lot!!!!!!! I could not believe that he didnt even know that my vehicle was at the dealership. They ended up finding me another vehicle with the options that we originally agree to in writing and were promised" and in our contract...I had to pay $4K more for the "new" vehicle!!! Why did I end up having to pay $4K more for a vehicle that we had a contract on previously just to get what BMW promised in writing? BMW did not keep their promise for what we agreed to in our contract. When I went to pick up the "new" vehicle, Richie had sent it back 3 times to get it detailed (this is what he told me). Richie said, "Come on out to see your new vehicle." When my wife and I went to look at it, it had brown stains all over the vehicle. It was from the paint protection that they put on it. I asked them to take the vehicle back to get it out and when it came back, the stains were still there. There was some cloudy stuff all over the chrome that goes around the windows and I asked Richie if it would come off and he said, "It will just wipe off." My response was, "Then wipe it off." It would not come off!!!! There was also water on the mats in the vehicle and Richie said, "That was from your shoes." Really, it wasnt even raining!!!!!!! The vehicle was dirty and had brown stains on it. This is not what I ever expected from BMW!!!I was so frustrated with their lack of attention to detail! I ended up taking the vehicle to Fort WaIton Beach and they were AWESOME!!! It took them almost 4 hours to get the "cloudy stuff" off that I was told, "It will just wipe off." It had to be buffed and shined! I have purchased approximately 10 vehicles in my life and I have never been treated so poorly from a dealership. I found out that there was a service bulletin that stated a GPS could be installed at the dealership. However, BMW headquarters did not get the word to the dealership that the service bulletin was revised to state that a GPS system could not be installed in this particular vehicle. That is not my problem! That is a total lack of communication on BMWs part! This was my dream vehicle and it turned into a nightmare!!!! No integrity!!! I wrote a detailed 5 page letter to BMW headquarters on 15 Sep 16 and I still have not heard back from them! BUYER BEWARE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

Our BMW 530i broke down on the way to gulf shores on a Friday. We were traveling down for vacation and wanted to send it to the dealership service center to ensure the mechanics were capable of handling whatever was wrong with it. So wrong! They didnt give us an estimate till 30 min before they closed on Saturday, meaning we had to wait till Monday. Monday morning we approved the repairs and told them to contact our supplemental to see what they would cover. The insurance told them to not doing anything until they got there. So I guess they took the day off Monday because we were never asked if that was ok or if we wanted to continue with the repairs without the insurance. Tuesday the supplemental sent out an adjuster and said they wouldnt cover so not BMWs fault and again we told them to start working on the car. When we called Wednesday for a report on the car we were informed they had to order a tool in order to get the car apart. The BMW dealership service center doesnt even have the tools necessary to work on the car!! They told us it would be ready Thursday at 5:30. Thursday we head out from Ft. Morgan to go pick up the car and return our rental car. I called to tell them we were on the way and one of the service associates said that the woman who had been helping us would call us back. We made it to Mobile before they felt it was important to return our call. We were told when we arrived at the dealership that the mechanic could be down with the car at 6:00 but wouldnt be able to run a few "follow up test". We agreed to taking a loaner car and told that it would be done no later than lunch time on Friday. But yet again we were lied to. When we arrived at the dealership they wanted to add another 1,500 dollars to the original estimate of 2,600 we had originally agreed to pay. And they said it wouldnt be done till the following Wednesday or Thursday. The mechanic was on his lunch break at this time and couldnt speak to us. And they had no legitimate reason as to why they lied and said the car was almost done the day before. Overall, they lied to us. Tried to take advantage of us because we were traveling. They didnt have the tools necessary to work on the car. We are getting the car towed back to Birmingham. Throughout the experience the service center representative was very apologetic, however, the Supervisor of the service center made no attempts to apologize for the inconvenience. Horrible experience.

BMW of Mobile unfortunately deserves 1 star directly because of their sales manager, Jake who gives BMW a bad name and disregards what true customer care and service is all about. I drove nearly 7hrs.(14hrs. total) to make a trade deal that was agreed upon prior to my drive. When I arrived, Travis (sales rep. very nice person) greeted me and made me feel very comfortable (he even offered to buy me lunch considering my drive.) Shortly after, we went on the test drive with the trade vehicle while Jake had a look at my trade. Once returned, I was told my vehicle is in fantastic condition but one wheel has slight curb rash so were taking off $1,000 from our offer. Being in the position that I was in and Jake not willing to work with me at all, I accepted, but felt very taken advantage of. The deal was done. Further, here is where the big issue sits, after driving another 7hrs. back home and putting less than 600mi on the (new to me vehicle) the check engine light came on and I immediately contacted BMW of Mobile where I was advised to take it to the nearest BMW dealership within the same automotive group so they could work with me and thats exactly what I did. Once diagnosed, I was told some hoses were essentially disintegrated and 02 sensors will need to be replaced from heat soak damage which would cost me at least $1,400. I then contacted Jake to see if anything could be done to help me out with costs considering ive only been in the car for less than 600mi. and there is no way this damage could have happened in this time frame that ive owned the vehicle. I was told, "that paper you signed then drove off the lot doesnt make me liable for anything" and that is where he left it. In the end, I feel very much taken advantage of. I dont care what business one is in, you dont treat loyal BMW customers or any other customer for that matter like this and hold them accountable for damages that should have been addressed during their supposed "full vehicle inspection" before it was offered for sale. I do not recommend this dealership but if you decide to do business here, please please be smarter than I was and weary of who the sales manager is youre working with.
