Nena, the store manager, was extremely unprofessional and rude despite having only two customers in the store and three employees. While serving me, she refused to make eye contact, smile, or acknowledge my one suggestion. Would not assist me in sending a fax instead stating that I had to serve myself and figure it out using the papers at the fax machine on my own. Another employee had to provide me assistance after three failed attempts. Nena also argued about prepaying for the return fax, a service Office Depot has always provided for myself and many other local businesses in the past. She claimed that Office Depot has never done this for anyone before in any store. After taking my payment, she notified me that no one would actually be retrieving it, but that I would have to rely on another patron being honest and giving it to them. This is something she should have notified me of before taking my money. She then notified me they have no machine for securely receiving business faxes, but that all faxes no matter how sensitive in nature are printed out in the customer area neither attended or watched by any employee. I attempted to offer a suggestion that a secure fax machine for returns only should be installed in their business area as business faxes often contain sensitive information. She simply ignored me, refusing to make eye contact, and began to type on her keypad as if I did not exist. When I suggested that it wasnt good customer service to ignore a customer and refuse eye contact she informed me that has she been a manager there for 9 month and is 50 years old. Not sure why that means she does not need to make eye contact with customers. With this kind of attitude, Office Depot can expect to lose a lot of their business clients and business from educators. I have over 6 years as a General Manager. My wife is a 9 year teacher. I will take my business elsewhere regardless of price. Money is no substitute for good service and Office Depot is far from a good bargain as it is.

I ordered several large-print laminated posters (an unnecessarily long and painful process already) around noon on a Wednesday, and was told they would call me by the end of the day, and theyd be ready. By 7:30pm, having heard nothing, I called and was told that Sarah and Britney, who had taken the order, were gone for the day, and nobody else could help me. I called back the next morning, and spoke to yet another person, who told me their printer had broken, and I should go to the Dothan store to finish my order, but when I asked her to tell me how many had printed (she had just gone to check on them) so I could do that, she said she would have to call me back--and never did. I went back that evening and spoke to the manager, who was appropriately apologetic and arranged things with the Dothan store while I was there. But even that took forever, and I had to send them one of the images again, and then wait another day to get the rest of my posters. And even once I did, the lamination was crooked, wrinkled, or unevenly cut. I dont trust them to fix the problem, though, so Im living with it.

Recently waited for assistance in print services with 3 employees working in that section at the time. With one customer ahead of me being assisted, not one of the three employees extended the customer courtesy to verbally acknowledge my presence or at the very least advise me they would assist me when someone was available. They simply ignored me, the one employee finally looked directly at me, dropped her head and continued working. The other walked off of her duty station without demonstrating the conscientious care normally exercised by customer service professionals in managing waiting customers. After realizing I was being intentionally ignored, I decided to walk away from the humiliation and reported the incident to both the concerned store manager and to Office Depot Corporate Headquarters. I was advised that matter is under investigation.

Just absolutely awful. Lady working copies and fax counter is horrible. I left in tears the last and 3rd time. You finally get to front and she starts on your order then proceeds to take all others in line and your back at end of line. 3times Sarah and finally after manager waits on all others and sees me standing in front of fax and a guy tells her I had been waiting again she comes over and tries to be what she should have been and then allows another lady to checkout before me I almost laid my copies down and left. I normally dont mind but intentionally or stupid customer service ranks this store a nightmare Thanks Sarah for teaching me I am a great business owner. Thanks manager for a little too late service nightmare .

I dont remember the employee name unless emp 662350 on the sales slip means employee is the one that help me when i am not computer savvy But when i asked some very confusing questions that i was not sure if was i asking the right question, he explained everything to my satisfaction and helped me decide what was the best things i could do or buy for my needs.most of all i admired his patience, and i could see by his non-verbal communication, he was not frustrated by my questions. I am a senior citizen and sometimes when i go to places and younger people dont understand old people do not understand modern electronic devices but he did. I will go to office depot again for their outstanding professional and courteous service

I took a packet in to be spiral-bound. The lady flipped over half the pages so they were oriented wrong, and replaced one page that she ruined with a photo copy (so it is now on different paper and had black marks all over it). When I showed her all the problems, she was gracious enough to offer me my ruined documents at no charge. When I complained to another employee, she told me I could go wait in line again at the copy desk (which was 6-people deep throughout all this), I said I would rather just take my business elsewhere, to which she replied, "okay." -Ability to accomplish a basic technical task-0 -customer service-0 If you need your documents destroyed fast, have them bound at Office Max, Enterprise!

I am an incoming college freshman, and I saw that Office Depot was having a HUGE sale on tons of back to school items (think: pens, pencils, paper, etc.). I went to my local Office Depot to take advantage of these deals. Not only were the employees rude, but they hardly had ANY of the sale items ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE SALE. I asked one of the cashiers at the front which day the truck would be in, so I could still try to get some of the sale items. She got a bit snappy and told me that I would have to call her general manager to make sure the sale items would be on the truck before I got there. I definitely wont be taking my business here anymore.

I went back to office depot in Enterprise, Alabama to purchase another computer as I was so thrilled w/ my Lenova laptop I had purchased there a little while ago. I left after numerous attempts to get assistance w/the computers....even requested one at check out & never received any service. I was surprised as my other visits were pleasant & informative. I am a cash & go customer....& was prepared to do so today, August 17,2017. I was looking for a desk top of high quality as I found in my laptop. I will be shopping for my computer elsewhere...so I can receive the much needed help in acquiring a suitable & quality item.
