My mother just spoke to a customer service person at the East Michigan Ave store . Her name is Denisha and she was excellent. My mother voiced complaint and Denisha immediately took some positive action by saying she personally would check for correct type of product that was needed to exchange and she would save for her. I would like to clue some of the workers at Staples remember that most people are not as versed in technical information on the products sold at Staples. I would encourage the sales people to try and assist customers as much as possible even if it seems like people should have enough sense to know what they are paying for. It will affect the bottom line which is profit and maybe end results could be a raise.

My fiancé and I had our wedding invitations printed here. All we really needed was for them to print our invitations on card stock, and we said we would do the cutting ourselves. They suggested we use their "invitation template" which caused a ton of confusion on their part, even though we brought a sample of our invitations. We picked up our order the next day and they printed four per page, which threw off our dimensions completely. I took the order back the next day to have them reprinted. They came out beautifully! However, they printed half the quantity that we needed and PAID for. I am still waiting to see what the resolution will be.

I bought a lap top and the sales man sold me an extended factory warranty. Ripped off is what I feel like, the thing is the laptop was not dropped, a screw fell out and it fell apart, they do not honor their warranty or their product. I will never buy another computer from Staples, I have a Toshiba lap top that I bought at Best Buy and it is 5 years old, with no problems, my sons laptop is not even 2 years and has had numerous problems over and over again. Now it just fell apart because a screw fell out. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE, AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTIES.

The service I received from this Staples has been good in the past. I have been a loyal customer with a Staples account. However, the service that I have experienced lately has been very poor. I have used this Staples located on Michigan Ave in Lansing. MI for four years. The manager and other staff have given poor service from a ten dollar fee for a one page fax, to the disappointment of the service request ordered but not filled for my mothers 80th birthday celebration. I will not use this Staples again. The nearest office supply is across town, but Ill use it instead.

I have visited this store frequently together with some of my friends. I like the staff worked there. They were patient and friendly. There are two mangers in this store . One of them is nice too, but anther one really pissed me off. He was over-cautious that he treated all the Chinese customs like thieves or suspicious person. Talking to him was like talking to a serious judge! The way he treated me made me think I was not welcomed at all! I would say, everything in this store is nice except this weird manger.

You know I really despise rebates..... I do not know why they just do not lower the prices and skip the need to fill out rebate forms other than the fact that most people never cash in on them and so their company gets the privilege of advertising that they sell the stuff cheap when they mostly do not get to provide anything for the stupid rebate cards they are supposed to send you... I never see those rebate cards because my employees throw them out thinking that it is just advertising and has no actual value...

This is a great supply store Im able to get in and out easily all the time. The print shop staff is particularly skilled and helpful plus, the prices are SO right in comparison to a few of the boutique print shops around town. And I want to write something here to a few of the other reviewers after having worked in IT for years: Its not the repairman teams fault that YOU broke YOUR computer. I just felt like making that VERY clear.

Stephenie that works in the printing department is very rude and extremely slow at her job! One day around 1 pm I dropped off 2 booklets about 40 pages each to have them bonded. She had them done by 9 pm!!!!! I understand that she may have had other peoples projects to work on but that was ridiculous! She done that to me the first I patronized the place. Fed Ex usually take 3 minutes to do them!!!

They "fixed" my computer. They saved some data but also lost some really important stuff. And they lost a lot of programs that it will cost me money to replace. They said they would save all that stuff. Im looking at small claims court.

I will never go to Staples again. I called for a price to scan documents to a flash drive and when I arrived the price was SIGNIFICANTLY greater than the amount I had just been quoted on the phone.
