We shop here quite a bit, but never will again after this evening. Our problem was explained to an employee and a product was recommended - which we purchased. Upon further reading we found out it was not the product we needed. We tried to return the product, which was open and was told, rather unprofessionally (by Ashley who I believe is the owner) that he "would be out that $20 if he accepted the return." Well, now we are out that $20 due to an employee recommending the wrong product. Horrible way of doing business and treating people.

As much money as I spent here they would not return two $8 dollar items because it was slightly over a month. Every time I visited this store I spent at least $100 bucks. I always liked going to Ace to help support the local business that is not the huge chain but after this experience I will no longer be giving any business to them. Its frustrating that they could not return my items. I even wanted to exchange for more expensive products. I will recommend not shopping at Ace to everyone I know and explain this poor customer service!

Bought a product of which was on sale. It was wrong for what I needed to do. I took it back with the receipt the next day. I was told the product was discontinued and they would not take it back. They said that I should have researched the product before buying. This product was recommended by them as it was on sale and would meet my needs. Now its my fault. I took it to Lowes and the customer service lady took it no problem and gave me a store credit for it.

Convenience is what I feel drives their business. I, for one, have opted to go to this business, rather than to Lowes for the fact that it is closer to my place of residence. I do recommend that you go there knowing what you need, for customer service is rather mediocre. Merchandise pricing seems rather high as well, especially for tool and equipment rental.

Nice small hardware store with helpful people. Better than the big home centers. They refill propane tanks for much less than a tank swapping place.
