There are several Ace Hardware stores (two IN The Villages and several a few miles outside) in this area. I just called the one on Rt.301 in Wildwood about dimmable CFL flood lights (the two in The Villages had none in stock). The gentleman I spoke with went beyond the "call of duty" to check stock, locate the bulbs I needed, and put them "aside," even though I cant pick them up until tomorrow morning. It is an extremely well-stocked store and the above incident means Ill drive a bit further to give them my business ...

I was able to purchase a propane tank and have it filled at the Wildwood Ace Hardware. The staff there was very helpful and they had a wide variety of products throughout the store. It is much closer to go to this hardware store than Lowes or Home Depot from the southern parts of The Villages.

A good "HOMETOWN" store -always good service - huge quality inventory . Paint, hardware and great folks . Easy parking too! and you dont need to walk a mile to find anything like big box stores.
