I purchased 3 cans of Evangers hunk of beef dog food yesterday, first asking the staff to be certain that these were NOT part of the batches recalled for contamination with pentobarbitol. She assured me that she had personally sent back the recalled cans and that the ones I purchased were not part of the recall and were safe. She said she would never endanger pets and not to worry. Fortunately I went back on line today to double check the recall numbers before opening a can for my chihuahuas- only to find the cans were indeed part of the recall. Deliberate misinformation or just a slip up? I hope the latter, but I will never purchase pet food there again.

I love this place! It is pet friendly... you can bring your dog in to choose his own toys. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have great nursery items too. All around a nice place to go for pet and plant needs.
