These guys are great! I was staying in Glendale for a work event with my wife and three month old daughter (we live ~350 miles away) when catastrophe struck! Our fancy Jeep stroller with giant innertube tires had gotten a flat. I knew the sizes werent standard so I got my phone and called around to local bike shops. Bicycle land was the third shop I contacted and they were supremely confident they had the size I was requesting. However when I got over there I realized that the size I requested was wrong... Never fear, the young man running the register came out to my car measured and checked the specs of the tire and found the exact innertube I needed. He also made sure I got the replacement tools to be able to pull the tire off. Great service and a great example of a small business that is focused on customer service.

I went in to get a damaged sprocket cluster replaced. After keeping my bike several days, and then closing early the day it was ready after telling me when I could get it, they put in the wrong part, which was completely unusable. So days later Ive picked up my bike after trying twice, and it is not working. Not only that, but they had for some reason put their greasy hands all over my bike, the rims were so greasy it would have been dangerous to ride if I hadnt noticed it first and spent quite a while cleaning it up. And to top it off, they for some reason changed my seat height, and wrenched it down to the point that I risked stripping the bolt to adjust it back.

I recently took my bike to this location to put a rear wheel on. I was told that I would get a phone call to let me know if the wheel I provided would work and how much it would cost me. After 3 weeks of no information, I followed up twice, they claimed that they were busy and needed more time. After about a month, I they told me the bike was ready. When I got there, they charged me $75 just to install a rear wheel I had given to them. I will never return to this place. This place used to have great work ethics and integrity. Now, it is worse than any other shop I have seen.

I feel cheated. I know nothing about bikes, and they exploited this. About a year ago, I took my bike here to fix my flat tire. They told me that my tube needed to be replaced, and charged me $75 for parts and labor. That same tire went flat today, and I took my bike to a big store (Performance Bikes) to get it fixed. The guys at the big store told me that my tube needed to be replaced, and charged me $17 for parts and labor. Im all for supporting small businesses, but shame on Bicycle Land!

I took my old Schwinn in for repairs after another local shop said he couldnt find the part to fix the gears. Not only did the guys at Bicycle Land find the part but they fixed the gears and its now running smooth. I also found a basket and bell to complete my ride. Nice find in Glendale, especially if you want to support smaller well run businesses.

Lee just put a new derailleur on my Trek Madone. He diagnosed what issues I was having and did a brilliant job of keeping me informed, and what he was doing with it. I will be using him for my bikes future needs. 2/29/16

The shop has been there since 1946...both my bikes from there; as a matter of fact ima buy another one theyre saving for me ...Never rude Never a problem..actually theyre pretty nice been goin there since I was 10

I think they are reserved rather than rude. I always found them to take their time and answer my questions. They dont have a large staff, so they they get to the point.

What a rip off want it to charge over $25 to put one scoop of sealant and AIR in tire . opposite of marketing strategy
