Ive bought 2 bikes from Two Wheels. The salesmen were great. However, the service department not so much. My latest purchase over a year ago was a Giant Bike and accessories, including a wireless odometer. Two weeks later I brought the bike in for an adjustment like the sales person told me to do and was told they could make me an appointment in about 3 or 4 weeks yet another customer came in at the same time I did....a young girl and he took her bike right in. Another service rep saw what was happening and rescued me, made a small adjust...took about 2 minutes or less and I was on my way. Then I decided to give them another try and Ive bought a few things in there for my bike. My battery died in my wireless computer so I had to reset it and I wasnt sure what size my wheels were so I dropped by and ask a guy in the service department if he could help me. First he accused me of not buying the computer there and then he said he couldnt help me because he didnt know how to set it (he works in a bike shop!) and he would have to sit down and figure it out and he had other others he had to do.....although I noticed the store was pretty empty. I grabbed it out of his hand and left the store for the last time. I will never go back into that bike store again. Once you buy something you are on your own and they are rude to boot. I have a large biking group of friends that Im going to pass on the information of how I was treated. If that guy had worked for me he would be out of there. Not good with people. Gail Ream

I have gone there three times, each time wanting to purchase a bike cash in hand. First time I went there for my 8 year old son to buy a BMX bike and despite their selection of bikes that were on “sale” for more than other stores regular prices they refused to price match so I wound up buying his bike at another store. I went in there a second time to look at a Trek road bike for me and despite being the only customer in the place no one walked over to ask if I needed help for over 15 minutes so then I asked someone for help and was told “they weren’t sales” to which I walked out and spent my $1,500 at Cyclewerks. I then decided to give them one more try after a year when looking for a bike for my daughter who wanted a Haro BMX and when I went in there I found that nothing has changed. I asked the parts guy the difference between two of the models and was told “I don’t know…” I then went to what I think might be their sister store Buena Park bicycles and purchased the same bike that Two Wheels had on sale for $209 for $189 at Buena Park Bicycles. I will not be giving Two Wheels on 17th Street any more chances.

Been going here as long as Ive been alive - they were with me from my first bike to my high school beach cruiser to when I left for college with a beater that I thought would get stolen. The staff is second to none in knowledge about bikes, and they have an incredible selection - from beach cruisers to bmx to childrens to the couple grand road bikes. If its not here, they can order it for you. Repairs are well priced and are usually completed in a timely manner (theyve only gone over their 1 week estimate a few times in my memory, but just letting you know it isnt zero so be aware). Even though it is a big shop, it still has a local feel - when I was a kid they would fill my tire for free and change my flats whenever I had them. If it cost anything they told me to put it on my dads tab and he could come in and pay for it later (I was a semi-regular). Pretty cool of any shop to do that, and I think that speaks alot about how great this little shop is

I was planning a week-long vacation on the east coast, so I thought I would bring my 10 year old road bike in for service and have it ready when I returned. I spared no expense, buying several high end items to be installed to replace the ones that were worn out. My bill exceeded $400.00, but I was having a lot of work done. Upon my return, I received a message earlier that my bike was ready, so I ran over eagerly to pick it up. The bike looked great, but I did notice they did not remove a stuck bolt that I asked (and paid extra for). The service employee apologized, and told me it would just be 5 mins. Nearly an hour later, they still did not remove the bolt, at which time I told them I can pick up the next day. The next afternoon, I came in the bolt had been fixed, and it looked great. The bike rides like a charm, and everything shifts and works perfectly. Very happy with the service, even with the bolt issue and would recommend to anybody!

Very impressed with the staffs willingness to go the extra mile. I live in South Dakota and I bought a bike online from one of the staffs friends. After visiting a shop here in town I initially thought there were some very expensive fixes needed on the bike. The seller referred me to this shop and the service manager called me up to walk me through what was going on with the bike. This was my first road bike that I didnt even buy from this shop, and the service manager very kindly explained to me the things that could be going on and even offered to send me a video of some checks I could run on the bike to get it up and running. All said and done, the staff at this shop saved me $400 dollars in fixes for nothing in return. Very impressed. Hope I can stop in the next time Im in California.

Excellent personal attention and affordable prices! My husband and I went to 2WOP Bicycle Store to buy a bike, but we didnt know which one. However, Jeff helped us to choose the right bike. He is very knowledgeable at explaining the differences between bikes. Jeff made sure we were satisfied with our purchase by letting my husband try different bikes. We are happy with our Giant-Trance-2016-bike purchase at a fair price, plus the ultra light pedals and bike tool kit that Jeff recommended. At 2WOP you will get you the right bike at an affordable price. All of the staff, the manager, Brian, Jeff, have technical expertise and are very friendly. The same day we picked up our new bike, they adjusted it for my husband so perfectly. We highly recommend this bike shop!

We bought two Giant hybrids there the other day, a Roam 1 and a ladys Roam 2. Our sales rep, Zac was low-pressure and very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us low- and moderately-priced bikes and didnt try to sell us more than we needed. I had done my homework on pricing for the bikes I thought wed likely buy, and their regular prices were the same as on the internet--lower than a couple of sellers, higher than one. Plus they had an end of the month special that saved us $150 if we bought $1,000 or more, which we did (the bikes were $599 and $499). We were out the door with bikes, two helmets, two locks, lights. lube and a few maps for about $1225, and the bikes were adjusted and fitted to us. Very happy.
