I’ve been riding bikes solely for the purpose of enjoyment for as long as I can remember, but I got so tired of renting a bike each time I was ready to ride, so one day a family friend who has been doing business with Oscar and his family for many years recommended Budget Bicycles. Not only do they have bicycles of all kinds for every occasion, so you really get a nice selection, but it truly is an awesome bike shop with a cool, comfortable and friendly environment. The staff is professional and extremely knowledgeable. One employee took the time out to actually show me which bike he thought would be best for me given my lifestyle, and he did so with my best interest in mind and not just for sale purposes. The prices are pretty decent as well. Also, when you purchase a bike from them, if and when necessary, you can get it serviced for free…talk about a lifetime warranty. Overall, it’s a great shop. If you’re tired of the rentals like I was and looking to buy a bike, check this place out. My son already has a bike, but purchasing his next bike form Budget Bicycles for sure!

Just my type of bike shop. Its a small mom and pop shop and my family has been going here since I was born! My dad got all his bikes here and now I buy my bikes here. Oscar is fantastic. No bike snobs and they arent pushy about buying their bikes either. My dad took me here to buy me my first road bike and they still remember him after all these years! I now do road races, time trials, and criterium races and when I came into look for a new racing bike, Oscar took time out of his busy schedule to explain the bikes and wasnt pushing me to buy one of his bikes at all even after I told him that I had other bikes in mind. All in all, Ive had nothing but great service from them. Theyve treated my family well after all these years and I will definitely be returning! Stop by the shop, you wont be disappointed.

The good people at Budget Bicycles are the best around. Ive bought bikes for my entire family here, from my road bike all the way down to my four-year-olds trailer bike. They have kids bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, cruisers, and road bikes, covering entry level through the high-end. Great selected of bikes, apparel, and accessories, and friendly, knowledgeable service. If you buy your bike there, they service it for free, for life. One example of their great service - I saw a pair of cycling shoes online that I wanted to try, but Budget didnt carry that brand. Oscar, the owner, agreed to order me a pair to try out. I wasnt sure which size Id need, so he ordered them in two sizes to make sure I got the right one. Great neighborhood bike shop.

I just took my Recumbent over there after doing some of my own DIY bike repairs. I needed some help with the disk brakes, because they were beyond my skill level. I walked right in the shop, and a mechanic was not only able to help me, but explained the whys and hows of what he was doing. Not only am I going to go there again, Id recommend this place to anybody of any skill level or ride. Although I didnt make a high end purchase, I was treated nice by the staff, and as such, my future business will definitely be brought here

My favorite bike shop to go to and recommend. The team of mechanics is top-notch and the sales staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Im a serious rider but I dont hesitate to send beginners or casual cyclists here. Prices for bikes, parts as well as labor are reasonable. As long as Im within 10 miles this will be the only shop I go to. Whether you ride a high-end carbon bike or are trying to revive that old steel bike sitting in the garage - this is the place to go.

I was looking to buy some mountain bike for me and my wife I came here not knowing what to get but Anthony showed me a variety of bikes to choose from his Knowledge of bikes, my wife needed a small frame bike he helped order that and the prices pretty fair and I had my bike for a while and when I have an issue with they really good in taking care of the problem when I ready for an upgrade I will definitely come back to this shop!!

Great experience! Im new to biking so the staff opened my eyes to things I hadnt thought of as far as style of bike for the type of use and most importantly safety. . The staff is very professional and knowledgable. Oscar was patient with explaining any and every question I had. Anthony was courteous and professional and even helped me figure out my new bike rack after my purchase. I will definitely go back for future purchases

I have purchased 2 bicycles here (road/mountain), hands down best bike shop in L.A. Oscar and his staff provide superb customer service. They do not try to up sell you or tack on a bunch of accessories on you. For repairs they are fast and reasonably priced. I have gone back and will keep going back for all my biking needs.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff without the snootiness you get at many other professional shops. Have purchased a few bikes here and never have been harassed or pushed to buy anything more than what I was looking or outside my budget. They also have awesome mechanics on staff, fixed the first time every time!

I bought my favorite bike 8 years ago here and I cant say enough good things about this shop. Everyone is really knowledgeable and helpful especially David. They are honest and they actually dont let you spend money on unnecessary work. Ive been to other ships in the are and they dont come even close . Really!

They are very competent and have a large following among local bike enthusiasts. Unfortunately, this means that what they charge for labor is more than what the competition charges. $15 to change a derailleur cable (plus the cost of the cable) is more than I care to pay.

they did an awesome job on my bike. lil spendy but compared to other shops in the area it was not way out of wack.i was totaly satisified and wont go anywhere else now.besides they are really close .and always very helpful when i go in there.

The store clerk was so helpful and friendly. We forgot our tire pump at home and they let us inflate our tires instead of forcing us to buy another pump. Also, the clerk was incredibly knowledgeable and honest. Im definitely coming back.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they are willing to take orders on all sorts of small parts and esoteric stuff that other bike shops might turn their nose up at. Tony is the ubersalesman; if he doesnt know about it it is not real.

Their stuff is expensive. Yes the staff are friendly, but in a weird creepy way. Sorry guys, you charge too much for basic stuff like a tune up and tire change.
