Unethical... my PC wouldnt boot to Windows, and he said he would try to fix it the same day. I called back 3 hours later, and he said he was still working on it. I asked for more info, and he said he needed time to back up files and re-install windows. When I stopped by the shop 3 hours later, he said he didnt have the correct adaptor to hook up the computer to his monitor... meaning that in the 6 hours he had my computer, he did NOTHING, despite telling me that he was working on it. I took my computer and marched out of that dingy, cluttered shop.

I took my cheap HP laptop to Bay Area computers to get the memory upgraded becuase performance was unacceptable. The whole process took about 10 minutes and it was like having a brand new computer! Plus it cost a lot less than ordering the memory online (and I wouldnt have known which memory to buy as there were two choices and the differences were not obvious) and trying to install it by myself was rather intimidating. Jonathan took care of it all quickly and easily while I watched. I would certainly return there with any computer problems.

Ive been using this business for many years now (before Jonathan took over). Yes, the store is cluttered, and dusty. Often Ive had to step over a computer to get in or out but the level of service/expertise is very high for the price. Unlike a chain store, the person you are dealing with is in charge and able to explain or adjust the transaction. I understand the small margin business and appreciate the service even if that means waiting a little longer, Robert.

After a house fire, my moms apple laptop was a charred and wet mess. It looked completely unsalvageable. Jonathan took care of it. Although he might be challenged in his communication abilities, I trust him, believe in his abilities, and would and will definitely use him again.
