I was initially drawn into the Workshop due to its upscale, boutique facade, but what keeps me coming back is the genuineness of the staff. Unlike other custom jewelry stores I have frequented, never once have I been made to feel silly for one of my design ideas. The staff at JW truly listens to what the customer wants and helps them to turn that vision into reality. They stay true to that vision, but add their expert advice, resulting in a professional piece with the uniqueness, charm and personal touch of handmade work. To date, Jewelers Workshop has designed three rings and a pair of earrings for me or others in my family. I have also brought several pieces there to be repaired and appraised, and just recently, took advantage of their in-store sale on lustrous freshwater pearls! I enjoy going to Jewelers Workshop not only because they do fantastic work, but also because they have my complete trust. Buying large ticket items is a nerve-racking experience, but Jewelers Workshop has eliminated 100% of my anxiety. I tend to prefer more finished and polished work and was afraid that my handcrafted pieces might lack that, but those concerns have been laid to rest. I also have been a part of every step of the process. Initially, I sat down with Jackie and told her my vision which she drew into reality as I sat with her (fun!). She is very open-minded and creative. She is willing to take chances and try something new, but will provide her professional opinion so that you wont be disappointed with your final piece. After a design was decided upon, Jason turned the 2D drawing into a 3D simulation. We then were invited to come in and look at the computer aided design (CAD) to discuss any changes that we might want to make. After that, a mold of the ring was made and it was fitted again to ensure that it would be a perfect fit. Even after the design is complete, often changes can be made if desired. Jackie was kind enough to make fine adjustments to the stone position on my ring twice (I’m sure no one else would notice any difference, but it was important to me and Jackie graciously obliged all my requests!). I was never made to feel like I was an impossible customer or high-maintenance. It has been my experience that the staff at JW is only happy when you are completely satisfied with your piece. Also, JW is willing to work within your budget and can incorporate materials from your old jewelry, if possible, to offset some cost. A big thank you to everyone at JW. I look forward to wearing my jewelry for years to come!

Realize that quality workmanship and excellent customer service IS within your price point! My fiance and I happened to be in Madison. We had been looking for a unique matching wedding set. I looked up their website, and saw a lot of the interesting rings we had been seeing online. While they are a small shop, they have a large selection. We found a ring we had settled on- but then Jackie came over to us. At first, I thought we might get a bait and switch... Instead, what happened was magical. She let us know that the rings we had settled on were not truly for wedding bands, but occasional rings instead. They would disappoint a few years in. Not but quality, but the nature of the materials. She introduced herself, and I recognized that she was one of the artists/metal smiths from their website. (I need you to check out her talent!) Now, while I was star struck at meeting someone who could create like her- I was on guard at first. I mean, who believes they can afford to commission an artist to create jewelry for them??! We looked at her work, some more of the stores pieces, and then- she showed us exactly what we wanted. It was an inspiring, unique set! We didnt settle on this set like we did the first- Jackie had a connection with us and somehow knew this was it. I literally cried, my fiance was awe struck. And, me being budget conscious, was shocked it was well within our price point!!! We had to continue to work with her via email on the set- her correspondence was constant, immediate, and you could feel her heart going into her work for us. She was patient with our busy schedules to get back with her a couple of times, too. Truly, it was Kismet that we came in and met Jackie. It is like nothing else in the world to be able to look at our rings (for the rest of our lives) and see her inspired and beautiful work that uniquely represents our lifelong, loving partnership. Thank you for all you did for us Jackie (and everyone involved)!!!

My fiance and I decided to check out Jewelers Workshop for my engagement ring. I wanted something unique that really encompassed my personality without spending gobs of money. The idea of spend $5,000.00 on a piece of jewelry is absurd for a poor student such as myself. Jackie Goetz sat down with us and I told her what I wanted. I had considered having the band made of an alternative metal and Jackie did not make me feel bad about that at all. A lot of big chain jewelers give the impression that if its not gold, youre being cheap. Jackie never made us feel as if our ideas were not "engagement ring material". She sketched a design for us and was open to our ideas. I was surprised to find that at the end of our discussion with her, I was ready to order a ring. I walked into Jewelers Workshop intending to look and get ideas, and ended up loving not only Jackies designs, but her personality as well. I felt like I had found a kindred spirit. Jackie made me a beautiful titanium and green sapphire engagement ring. I love it so much. Its more beautiful that I could have imagined. I would recommend Jackie and the Jewelers Workshop to anyone that wanted a unique and beautiful piece of jewelery, without the pressure from the big name jewelers. Working with Jackie was a pleasure and I look forward to working with her again when its time to get our wedding bands!

Hands down the best customer service I have ever had. Richard stands behind his work and will do anything to make sure you are happy. I drove up from Chicago to have an engagement ring designed and made and was blown away by the professionalism and service they provide at Jewelers Workshop. He was the only one that spent a great deal of time with me making sure I understood diamonds and jewelery in general and never once tried to hard sell me. I wasnt sure what my fiance/wife would want and with their guarantee it didnt matter. After I purchased it my wife had a few tweaks done at no additional cost. I have been so happy with the work and service here I have purchased all of my Jewelery (wedding bands, gifts for the wife, etc) In fact most of my friends have purchased their rings here and couldnt be happier. You would expect that since the rings are custom and the service is great the prices would be higher than that of the box store. This is certainly not the case. I cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and go here first, then try the other ones and you will see that not one will compare!
