So I normally work Monday thru Saturday so its tough to get up to Chester Electronics. However for the Labor Day holiday I had a Saturday off. I pitched the idea to my wife to go up there. The outlet mall is just a few miles away. Hint. Hint. Guys. After she agreed i had to put a list of parts that i needed together, get the car ready, get the kid ready, and drive an hour to get there. So by the time all of that was completed we were going to arrive right at closing time. We called and asked if they wouldnt mind staying open for us for a bit longer. Which they did. So Saturday night before a holiday weekend they stayed open for 45mns to gather the parts i needed. In doing so they have earned my business permanently. Cheers to the return of customer service!

The place is a palace or gold mine of technology of all sorts. I stopped in today pick up NEW (GPS) parts of a linguistic logistic nature for teenagers and Chesters had the goods for the Molester Jester bot. Yes it sounds kinky but hey thats what the crossed wires make out to when one translates the Polish-Bosnian-Norwegian languages of the "kre-kret-krets" ascention as the phrase "mole - moving - circuit" is manifested in the translation. So now Ill really be able to get the XXX Reality Kings Adolt website in high definition in all her merakdubhe lip bound glory.

All staff members readily share their knowledge, provide great personal service, and suggest cost effective repair solutions. The store is jammed pack with electronics and electronic devices, specialty took necessary to fix any electronic devices from the tube based equipment through computer communications devices. Chester Electronics has the only tube tester that I have seen in a store since 1976! Chain stores and internet cannot compete with Chester Electronics knowledge, experience, and expertise, competitive price, and quality.

I had my AC capacitor go out last night and by morning the house was a sizzling 85! In high hopes that Chesters had the part I headed over there. I was greeted happily and didnt need to explain to much of what I was looking for. He knew what I needed just by looking at a few numbers! Great service and they always have what Im looking for. Great place to find components! Its very old feeling, but kinda in a good way. The have lots of parts and lots of old equipment. They write up your order on a good ol paper receipt pad with carbon copy. My biggest complaint is their hours. I wish they were open both weekend days and off two weekdays or something. Or open till 9 one night a week. They arent frys but WAY better than the shack

Best place to shop for parts! Whether you are looking for parts to fix vintage radio or TV, or looking for support parts for the newest gizzmo, Chester has it all. I retied and moved to the St. Louis area this last summer and sure do miss them. Im a Ham radio operator and have time for homemade projects, I guess Ill just have to travel to Kenosha when I need things!

Ive been a customer for 25+ years and servicing electronics even longer. When I need a part asap, Chesters is the first place I check. Their friendly staff has done a great job helping with crossing part numbers and keeping their inventory in stock. They also have vacuum tubes in stock that is a godsend for my vintage repairs.
