Ive been coming here for almost 9 years never had a problem with the people here, really nice. Always really informative and helpful. Well, thats until recently when I decided to buy newly released games in two seperate occasions. Both times i was attended by the same new guy. First time i went i asked if a game that they had in the front display was available He Immediately said "NO" without me finishing my sentence and ignoring me completely didnt even offer me any other options like they usually do (like giving an idea when they should be getting their next shipment,etc) . A bit rude but I just shrugged it off maybe he was having a bad day. Second time, same situation and same guy but this time didnt even look at me in the eye He just said "we dont have it in stock" and walked away and I replied with " Thank you for your help" . I understand if he acts this way when theyre too busy, which they are sometimes, but both occasions i was the only customer in the store. If the game is not available anymore the least you could do is take it off the shelves. From now on Ill just order the games from Amazon like any sane person would instead of dealing with poor customer service.

I know I could get more for my trade in games online, but the prices they give are fair given that I dont have to pay any fees, wait for my money, and deal with people who may or may not pay or want a refund. Overall when those factors are considered, usually the trade in option isnt so bad. That said, do your research ahead of time, as theres plenty of games theyll give you less than $1 for, at that point, donate them to charities.

Goto the other gamestop on Milwaukee Ave (not in the mall) that is less than 2 minutes away. The employees tend to be way more informative and helpful. The employees at 700 N Milwaukee tend to be very short and almost irritated if you have a question, mainly because I am sure the traffic they get is 5x that of surrounding gamestops.

I was going to sell them my Xbox 360 slim. I was going in there expecting to make like at least $40. Because it is in good condition and not old. They offered my $10. $10. For an Xbox. Seriously? Thats a joke.
