The first time I went to their store, they sold me a new washing machine and told me it had to be a whirlpool in order to stack my functioning dryer on top of the washer. (No mention of the need for a stacking kit or the same dimension washer). A week later when they came to install it, they said "you didnt buy a stacking kit so we cant put this together. Also, it has to be the same size and your existing dryer is too small for this washer to stack together." Great, thanks for mentioning all that when I was in your store, morons. I called the store, furious, and a manager sweet talked me into giving me a good deal to buy a set as an accomodation for my headache. I bought a whirlpool set and a week later they came to install it. (Mind you, I have now been without a functioning washer/dryer set for over 2 weeks.) The installers stacked the set, put it in the closet, and left. The next day when I did laundry, it became clear that the dryer was not drying clothes. In fact, when I attempted to change the setting to a "more dry" option in order to see if it would work, it started shutting itself off saying "check vent." I called the store and they said they would put in a request for a service call, and someone would call me to schedule it within 24 hours. Great, going on three weeks without laundry. 24 hours later and no call, I called the store again and they contacted the service department, who then called me and scheduled the appointment for Saturday - a FULL WEEK after THEY installed it incorrectly. On Friday before the service call, I got a notification that my service time window was 1:15 to 4:15. They showed up at my house, on a Saturday that I spent waiting on them, at 6:00. Close to two hours after the scheduled window, all for a repair to THEIR IMPROPER INSTALLATION. When they got here, they informed me that the original installers used the wrong type of vent and, in fact, if using the correct vent, I cannot have this washer and dryer set because the space in the utility closet does not permit it. Then they had the nerve to give me push back on taking the units out of my house and refunding my money immediately - they wanted me to reschedule another visit!!! I have no been without a washer and dryer for over a month, and I will NEVER SHOP AT HHGREGG AGAIN. EVER. Update on what happened after they removed the units: they left the gas on in the utility closet and I had to call the gas company 2 days later because I didnt know where it wa coming from. So in addition to leaving me laundryless, they also attempted to blow up my house.

I am so disappointed in the replacement plan contract customer service. The people are not rude, but for the past 2 weeks they have told me the same thing. My sons ipad stopped working. I had purchased the 2 year repair/replace contract for $200+ with the impression that if anything happened within the two years I could get a replacement. What a great deal! I called the claim in....was told that I had to pay to ship the device to New York. There they would assess whether the ipad could be repaired or should be replaced. I got no follow-up telling me that they had received the product...so I called. I was told to call a few days later and find out the status...I did. The main board was broken but the piece was on back order with no idea when it would come in. I called the following week. I was told that they were expediting the search for the part. I called the following week and was told that they understood how frustrating it was waiting and that they would expedite the process to replace. Call back in 2 business days.....waited three business days....ok..I will expedite to replace...wait 2-3 business days to hear response from us...nothing. Just called. They are still looking for part and have expedited the process! I HATE that I purchased this at HH Gregg. I should have gone to apple store. Thought I would support a local business ......I am ready to throw a tantrum in their store.

I should have read the reviews by far this place is HORRIBLE they have the worst customer service ever. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! I went in there to buy a washer and dryer a short man by the name of AJ was nice at first, I went ahead placed my order paid $70 plus dollars for delivery the next. To my surprise no delivery at all arrived!! so I called to get an answer was all over the place for 37 minutes jumping from one person to another finally this RUDE MAN AJ calls me on my cell phone to raise his stupid voice at me!! REALLY!! after I tried to explain to him the matter of my call he kept talking over me and being severely rude to me, I demanded a Manager. I spoke to a nice lady that did not give her name, however, there was nothing she could do for me as far as writing up this guy name AJ nor refunding my delivery for all the hassle and inconvenience. At least I got a managers name Shawn to whom I need to talk to get this matter solved. I HAVE TO SAY IT IS VERY SAD TO DEAL WITH A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE WHEN I AM GIVING THEM MY BUSINESS! WHOMEVER READS THIS TAKE MY ADVICE AND GO TO SEARS!!!

This is the worst store I could have ever shopped in. I would give it no stars but one was the lowest I could possibly give. I brought a 50 in Samsung smart tv from them and less than two weeks later the picture tube goes out. They refused to take the tv back stating that without the box there was nothing they could do. ummm I have the receipt and the tv. Now correct me of I am wrong but isnt the same numbers on the box and the tv. So I contacted the better business Bureau. Hh Gregg responded that I had damaged the screen. So I sent pictures of it to show that there was no damage to the tv. Their response was we will sell you a different tv at a discounted price. WOW! UMMM how many ways can I say NO! Whats the saying fool me I once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I will never buy anything else from this store ever. I really hope that whoever is thinking of buying something will see this and think twice. DO NOT be fooled by the low prices the products that they sell are garbage and you will lose your money.

First and Last Time I will ever shop there. I made the mistake of going there instead of Best Buy where I usually get my electronics. I bought my brother a Proscan tablet for Christmas there. During my purchase the sale assistant requested that I het a warranty which will protect the device for up to 2 years if anything happens to it. I though since it is form my 5 year old brother I should and I did. the warranty was half the devices price. A week from today, my brother broke the devices. I dont know how but it was not turning on even after days of charging. I returned the device with my warranty only to be told my warranty did not cover damages! THEN WHAT THE HECK IS A WARRANTY THAT COST HALF THE DEVICES PRICE SUPPOSE TO COVER. Were they expecting me to get a warranty to return a perfectly working device! Dont Get The Warranty ot os Useless, Just A Waste of You Hard Earned Cash. Now I have to go tell my 5 year old brother, that I couldnt get hom a new tablet. Thanks a lot.
